The cats are going to race at the Dark Forest 500 and Sunbeam got the pole for the 500 lap race and she led the first 50 laps before green flag pit stops started and after the pit stops Mothwing led the race.Fringewhisker and Firestar got speeding penltys.Sunbeam,Squirrelflight,Ivypool,Dovewing,Brightheart,Lilyheart,Cloverfoot and Rootspring are still in championship contention and they all led some laps in the race.Mothwing won stage 1.Mothwing led on the restart but Sparrowfur passed her on the restart.On lap 150 Icewing got a flat tire and pitted for new tires.Lilyheart raced in the top 5 and top 10 for most of the race.Sunbeam took the lead on lap 175 and she led the most laps.On lap 250 it's halfway and Sunbeam beat Brightheart to win stage 2.Frostpaw had a loose car.''The car is fast,''meowed Sunbeam purring.Twowhisker broke a gear and went 14 laps down.On lap 289 Calliefur caught on fire and fell out quickly getting out.''Fire it was scarey happened out of nowhere,''meowed Calliefur.''Missed the fire,''meowed Ivypool.''Yup,''meowed Rootspring.Whorlpelt blew a engine on lap 291.''Went kaboom bad luck,''meowed Whorlpelt.
