Rainsong | Camp | Duckwillow (💗Hollyleaf💗 )Rainsong gave a slight nod and got to his paws when Duckwillow addressed him. "Of course," he meowed as he reached him, smiling at the other cat. He briefly looked over at the other cats who had been asked and then back at Duckwillow. "Is this everyone or do you want more to join?" he asked. It seemed like a good number of cats for a hunting patrol but he also didn't mind if more were going to join.
(Seconding the Discussion Page suggestion, it would be pretty helpful. Only if you want to make one, of course ^^)

( 🎄tansypool🪿, Pineclaw) Duckwillow greeted Rainsong as he approached with a flick of his tail. He surveyed the rest of the patrol and nodded, confident in what he had put together. “This will be all. Let’s hunt on the beach. I’m going to try to catch some birds on the surface of the water, but you all can focus on the sand. Maybe we can find some decent sized crabs or a seagull.” He told them and then led the way into the water. He dipped his head in greeting to Waspstar as he bobbed by in the waves and then continued on. His back legs kicked powerfully through the water, but he let the water do some of the work too. Finally, the waves picked him up and pushed him the rest of the way to shore and he turned, shaking his pelt out, to the others. “Slippaw,” he said, looking t his apprentice. “Want to water hunt with me or stay on land with them?” |

Rainsong | Leaving Camp | Hunting Patrol
Rainsong followed the rest of the patrol and also meowed a greeting to Waspstar as he swam past the leader. Sometimes he glanced over at Slippaw to see how he was doing. He usually kept an eye on the apprentices whenever he was on patrol with some of them but most of the time it wasn't necessary. Swimming to the shore wasn't difficult and even if an apprentice had trouble they had their mentor to look out for them. Once they reached the shore Rainsong shook out his pelt and took a few steps away from the water. Then he paused and looked at Duckwillow and Slippaw, waiting to see if the apprentice would stay with his mentor or also want to hunt on land.

Dripleaf ~Patrol~ ( Pineclaw 💗Hollyleaf💗) Dripleaf followed out of camp, his tail tapping at the puddles in the ground. "Yeah, the shore is a good place for hunting. We can hunt crabs and small birds, or fish." He agreed with the other white tom. Slippaw ~patrol~ ( Pineclaw 💗Hollyleaf💗) "Um, I'll try fishing a bit. If I'm not to successful then I'll try land hunting." He meowed, the water seemed less scary now. "When do you think we'll be heading back? I- I mean I just wanted to uh... talk with Sorrelpaw..." He whispered, his tail curled under him and wrapped back over his leg.

She’ll be having her assessment soon, you know.” He commented, flicking his tail over Slippaws ear with affection. He had noticed the Tom’s crush on his daughter before. “Dripleaf, Rainsong, try to stay within shouting distance.” He told them as he padded back into the water. |

He turned to face his apprentice. "Want to try the underwater crouch again, or would you rather fish?" he asked. He kept his eye on the other two on the patrol, making sure he didn't need to head back and help them with anything. |
