It’s that time of year again! The scavenger hunt for candy will be up until October 31 at 12am EST.
This year things will work differently for the prizes. It will only be the top five members who will earn the prize. If you’ve earned all of the prizes I’m able to give to you, it’s up to you to come up with a new prize.
Happy trick or treating!
How it works:
Click on a floating candy and it will be added to your bag. Once you have 5 candies, a small jack-o-lantern will be added to the bottom right bar of your screen, next to the "switch account" button. This jack-o-lantern will give you hints if there's a candy on any threads on the forums.
Why isn't it the top 10 anymore?
Due to the amount of members we have & the amount of prizes (3), I decided to change up the playing field for the scavenger hunt. The top 5 people who win the scavenger hunt will get a prize. The prize is determined by staff, but it usually goes as the following:
First time winning - Name Color
Second time winning - Contest Avatar
Third time winning - Custom Title

Hey Sand, I noticed a problem. If I have multiple forum tabs open and collect candy in one of them it resets my entire candy thing. Should I just resort to only opening one tab at a time?

Yeah, I think resorting to one tab at a time that you can collect the candy in is a better idea. The plug-in recognizes when people try to collect more candy with multiple tabs, so it'll just reset itself to avoid possible cheating.
