the City of Midhelm We would like to welcome you to our city of Midhelm. Here we are a city run by supernatural beings. We have every being you could think of, even ones that were once just stories you’d read as a child.
The supernatural have always been among us , they have just been rather good at staying hidden or blending in with their surroundings. But here in Midhelm they no longer have to hide in fear of being seen or known. After a long battle with the mortals, peace was finally made , this city they call home was built, and here is where most call home.
Within our city we have places known as Districts. Each species of supernatural being has their own District. For example: the Werewolf District is where our werewolves make their homes and live. The Districts surround our famous Inner City that is home for everyone and where every species live together, work together and our Capital.
We are just like any modern city you come across. We have Malls, fast food/ restaurants, public schools as well as a college to further your education, museums, parks and so much more. In this city we strive to maintain a normal life for everyone , here we welcome everyone ( that includes you mortals too) and here we welcome you home. Will you join us?
Welcome! My names Mary , I am your guide of our great Inner City. Here in our Inner City we have laws just as the humans do, you break them, you'll be in trouble! A couple of Laws i wanted to give you pointers on are:
The Law of Consent: Vampires are not allowed to feed on unwilling beings. This could earn up to 3 years in prison.
The Law of Violence: We have a strict , zero violence law , now this law does not stop crime from happening but this law was put into place to hold offenders responsible for their actions. Depending on what you do is how long you serve for. And yes we even have life sentences just as humans do and the time is applied for how long that species lives.
The Law of Hate Crime: This City is meant to be home to everyone. We intend to keep it that way. Hate Crime is punishable by being banished from the city or by death. If another species has a problem with another, then they can move back to their designated Districts to avoid coming into contact with others outside their kind.
Now let's move on to more exciting things! We have many jobs available to anyone, we work just as humans do. We have everything from your bank teller, police officer, FBI, baker, waiters, farmers, teachers and various normal jobs. Please feel free to apply for any job you see fit for.
Within the Inner City you will find that most people live in apartments , actual houses tend to be on the outskirts of the Inner City.
Within each District you will find that they are more like small towns circling the Inner City. They have a school, grocery store, gas stations, fast food place and more average small town things. Houses are typically built in a neighborhood layout fashion.
Also beware that there are beings that exist here that are of two different species. Love is knows no boundaries here in our beautiful city.
And last but not least, just a fair warning. Stay out of trouble. We try to enforce the Law of Violence but that does not stop beings from doing bad things. Just like any other city there are criminals , charlatans, thieves and evil people lurking within the shadows.
