I do not own a cat. I want a cat, but do not yet own one. Many people on this forum own a cat. Some of you may have heard about this, others have not.

A cheap automatic litter box has been killing cats, and although that specific one has been removed from the market, there are still many with the same design that could potentially harm your cat. If you want to learn more, please watch this video for further information.

My heart goes out to the owners who have lost their cats this way <3

Everything I've seen about these litterboxes has been horrifying. I'd honestly reccomend staying away from automatic pet care stuff in general. I just don't trust mechanized parts to be safe around animals, and I'd rather just clean up after my pet myself.
