Introduction
Welcome to Sapphireclan! A clan full of wonder, mystery and a little bit of magic! The clan is set in a world where anything could happen. Evil Spirits, monsters and powers? Guess you are gonna have to join to find out!
History:
No one is for sure how Sapphireclan came to be. The origins have been lost through time, instead replaced with fantastical events. What is known for sure is that long ago, a tyrannical leader ,with darkness in his heart, ruled the land with an iron claw. He and his followers bossed others around, hurt and killed anyone who didn't obey them. They didn't have any respect for the clan and thus the land itself was slowly dying.
All seemed lost, until four cats were chosen to take down the evil leader. The four were given an elemental power by a starry cat who gave clear instructions to only use their powers for good. At first, the cats were hesitant unsure if they could actually save everyone. However, after a couple of moons of training, they began to fight back and gain their own following. Eventually, they and their followers fought back against the leader and continued until they managed to defeat the leader.
Once the leader was defeated, the starry cats chose one of the four to become the leader of a new group. Since peace was restored the cats powers went away. The starry cats promised that should the clan ever be in great need, a cat or a group of cats would be gifted powers to protect the clan.
Afterwards, this is where things get a little muddy. Some claim that the other three cats went away to make their own groups while others claim the cat who was gifted fire was jealous and tried to use his power to take what they thought was theirs. Others believe all cats were given powers but had their powers were taken away due to constant warring.
Regardless of what is true or not, Sapphireclan take great pride in their history whether it's real or not.

Certain sections of the lake have stepping stones to get across or a fallen tree bridge. Cats are advised to stay from the river whenever it rains due to flash flooding.

Traditions and Customs
Full Moon Celebration
During the full moon, the clan will gather at the sacred lake to socialize, honor their ancestors and to give thanks. During this time, cats are to be respectful and to not touch the water until the leader or medicine cat says so. There will be a moment of silence and usually a speech given by either the leader or the medicine cat. Afterwards, the clan will sleep until either dawn or early high noon. Unless a cat is unable to physically move to attend, willingly not attending is considered disrespectful.
Warrior Trials
When an apprentice is ready to be a warrior, they must pass the warrior trials. The trials are a series of four tasks usually chosen by the leader or mentor. The trials can change depending on the apprentice, but the main ones include, hunting, fighting, fishing and swimming. An apprentice must pass at least three in order to become a warrior. Apprentices that fail must wait another moon to try again.
When the new warrior receives their name, they must spend a night on the little island over by the sacred lake.
During leaf bare, the cats rely heavily on fish to keep them fed. Should the rivers end up frozen, cats will fish in the sacred lake.
During leaf-fall, bears come to the river to feed on the salmon and to fatten up for winter. Cats usually avoid the river or go whenever the bears aren't around.
