I have been with the WCF since i was 13.
I traveled OVER WHEN THE OG got laid to rest.
And now its so hard to find an active roleplay that.
for the first time ever i looked outside of here... to say the least I'm terrified because of how new and confusing other places are ( specifically jcink )
I want to understand it all BUT FOR SOME REASON I CANT AND I COME CRAWLING BACK TO MY COMFORT ZONE.. HERE ON THESE FORUMS.
i FEEL ABSOLUTLY LOST AND EVERY DAY THAT PASSES I KEEP LOSING MORE AND MORE HOPE OF FINDING AN ACTIVE ROLEPLAY..
has ANYONE ELSE BEEN HERE BEFORE? what DID YOU DO? I feel utterly lost |

tbh i dont think most people in OTD roleplay so this might not be the best board for advice in that regard. could be wrong though.

I used to be a huge roleplayer back on WCF. Loved every moment of it but I ended up quitting due to loss of internet and discovering online gaming. Recently, I decided to join WCRP in the search of my old friends and ended up making new ones. I don't roleplay on here. It's so tempting because I do miss Warriors roleplaying, but my friends ended up creating their own roleplay which is vastly different, and I got sucked into that. But I am with you on looking for other locations, it's insanely daunting. WCRP feels like such a great place to be so I do find myself coming here more frequently now, but I too feel lost myself. Roleplay wise, I have my friends unique one. On the forums themselves, totally lost.
You could always try and create a roleplay if you haven't already and maybe it'll gain some members. I do wish you luck. There come times when we get burnt out or need a small break and then something may find us.

There are a few good rp communities on discord, but they are vastly different than the forum rp culture. Some discord rps are close, probably those that share common roots with the forum populations. It's easy to get into the chaotic, big ones but the smaller ones are typically invite only, so you have to venture into bigger servers and make friends and poke around to find them.
the otrp has honestly been popping for the first time in years recently. You might have a good shot over there right now.

Bramble - thank you for the lucky wishes ! I have started one but it’s only got two people so far and we’ve spent the majority of the month creating the roleplay its self so I’ve got my fingers crossed others will be interested! Brownie - I’m currently in once discord rp and so far it has been pretty good but I’ve noticed that 90% are on jcink and that website is different and confusing. When I’ve tried to ask questions and get help trying to understand it everyone just seems annoyed that I don’t know what to do. I get so overwhelmed I just give up on it
