Unpopular opinion: I don’t like chocolate. I do like some chocolate COVERED things but for the most part I don’t like chocolate . ok lowkey? same. like i like terry's chocolate oranges but i have to eat them very sparingly.
the reason why is that i think i have rosacea and chocolate triggers it BADDDD. (or, if it's not rosacea, i have some sort of condition that makes my face turn completely red in both heat, at random times, and when i eat certain foods.)

Milk chocolate if I'm eating it just straight up. Dark chocolate if it's in baked goods (the bitter/sweet balances out) or in a drink. White chocolate if I'm 9 years old and just discovering white chocolate.

i know that technically chocolate oranges come in dark, milk, and white. but in general terry's chocolate oranges are my favorite so i'm saying other and saying orange. some ppl wait for winter for the egg nog. I wait for the chocolate oranges (also the French ovation things are NOT comparable in any way. Sometimes my store only carries those and I'm like no... no.) |

i use all three in baking and i think they all work beautifully in certain flavor profiles, but my personal favorite if i'm just getting a chocolate bar on its own is dark chocolate but like a milder dark chocolate. 60-75% cocoa is like the sweet spot, once you tip over toward 80% it does start to get a bit too bitter for me.
