In case anybody out there has no clue what that means:
"Tetrachromacy allows some people to see colors that are not visible to most others. It is a condition that results when an additional type of color receptor cell is present in the eye. Those who are tetrachromatic can perceive an estimated 100 million color variations."

Woah, that’s really cool. Is there any ordinary object that you could name off the top of your head that you might see in a different color/shade then the average person? Hm, good question! Supposedly anything that is rather glossy in texture (ex. those little hairclips), but if I can count plants as objects, definitely maple trees. (Lots and lots of orange shades I can find in those! Heck, I even see some like orangish-brown shades and sometimes orangish-yellow.) Also thread and paper is something where there can just be a ton of speckles in a different shade of the color in my eyes, but to someone else it could just be the solid color!

Ooh interesting. How does that affect your daily life, and when did you find out?

Dang, that's interesting. If you could make up a color name what would you create? Ooo! Probably for the hex code #4B46DA my color name suggestion would be Saturated Iris!

Ooh interesting. How does that affect your daily life, and when did you find out? Well, the world and the colors I see make it seem a lot more vivid. Like colors may appear brighter to me than to other people. As for when I found out, fairly recently!

Do you mind me asking how you found out? I don't mind! Recently I went through a few color tests, and reviewed how all of them ended up, and then that's when I considered the possibility, and then that's how I managed to learn that! For example, one of the color tests I used was this image! From what I've researched, at the very least counting 32 colors, it is very likely that the one who counted that might be tetrachromatic. (When I went through this test, I counted 38. There are 39 colors here!) (Spoilered for possible eyestrain)

There is a possibility that you may also possibly be tetrachromic! But of course this is after all only one test! Other tests may even possibly prove otherwise!

Also, (lol sorry for asking so many questions) do you have any funny stories related to this? Not yet! Will definitely PM you if I do have any! (Well, a somewhat ironic thing is that one of my best friends is colorblind.)

Other tests may even possibly prove otherwise! Turns out snopes has also debunked this. I just took several tests and almost all of them told me I’m tetrachromic. I’m not saying you aren’t, just that online tests aren’t likely to be accurate. www.snopes.com/fact-check/people-4th-retinal-cone/

I was also using symptoms as a guide to help me consider it. Then again, yeah I've seen a few articles on that.

This is awesome though. I wasn't aware that any humans could see additional colors. Are you capable of seeing ultraviolet like a hummingbird by chance?

Well, I've heard that it's possible, but I'm not entirely certain if that's how far my 'color extension' goes. I might be able to see it but I haven't realized, so that's a possibility!

Well, actually I can see it both ways, I just adjust my eyes a bit and the ideal color kind of shifts. I don't know how I can do that, but apparently I can.
