inspired by this thread, I figured I'd use this forum to test a theory I've had for a while. I'd make a poll but I don't think it would work in that format so I'll just ask three questions; 1. where do you live (you can just say your country if you want but state/province is also okay) 2. what do you think of Dairy Queen 3. does Dairy Queen sell cakes where you are

Their blizzards are very good but everything else (especially the burgers) are very mediocre. Don't recommend it unless you're ordering a sweet treat

Can I ask what the theory is yet? My theory was that dairy queen is better/more popular in colder climates. so far that doesn't seem to be the case though

Like here in southern California it's really popular and always packed in the summer.

Like here in southern California it's really popular and always packed in the summer. yeah that's true but my theory was that it would be easier to keep ice cream cool/good in a colder climate. it's just something I've wondered for a while

1. where do you live (you can just say your country if you want but state/province is also okay): florida! they say the further north in florida you go the more southern it is, and thats been my experience up here
2. what do you think of Dairy Queen: its okay, but overpriced. a burger deal is like $12? no way, i can get two sonic quarter pounders and a milk shake for $6. im addicted to those things
3. does Dairy Queen sell cakes where you are: yes! we got one for my brothers birthday i think as a silly thing

1. Germany 2. Nothing because I've never been to one 3. They do not exist here
I was in the US back in 2018 but did not come across a Dairy Queen then. Taco Bell also knocked me out (in a bad way) so much that I was scared to eat anything else there afterwards lol. I have watched some food videos by various Youtubers though so I at least no what DQ is.
