Science green, math red, science yellow, English purple. Language (OK French specifically) is blue.
I haven't been in school in 8 years but I'm confident in my answers (um I type this right before realizing I have science twice and they both make sense. I think I meant social studies for green)

i switched it up each year. got those composition notebooks with the different colored covers and randomized which subject was which, so i don’t have strong associations there.
edit: also wtf is social studies? is that history?

Last year English was crystals, math was zodiac signs, social studies was like outer space looking things, and science was a ton of crescent moons

It’s like a combo of history, geography, current events, cultural/global studies, etc. It’s often a subject in elementary school and middle school because “history” is rather narrow

honestly the only one i feel very strongly about is that math is red. seeing people say they think math is other colors is insanity.

I don’t really know about English, that’s probably the only one that I could go any way on, but math is DEFINITELY red. I also feel pretty strongly about science being green but like MATH IS RED.

For the ones in the poll: Science - green Math - dark blue Social studies/history - yellow English - yellow
Yes, both English and history are yellow, but English is more yellow, so if I didn’t want to repeat colors and had both in the same year, I’d make history/social studies whatever extra color that I had.
Now for others that I took at least once and have associations for: Biology/chemistry/environmental science - green Genetics - orange Ornithology - purple Physics - yellow Latin - purple Roman history - sky blue Astronomy - gray/blue Programming - gray
For duplicate colors, I either didn’t have the classes at the same time (most commonly), used different shades of the same color, or switched the color of one as needed (ex. astronomy). Also once I had two maths in the same year, so I made statistics light blue and the other one stayed the normal darker blue. Also yes, Roman history, ornithology, and genetics necessitated a color change from their base subjects due to their quantity and what they overlapped with. The list is a combo of classes I remember from both high school and college.

for me social studies covered history and geography mainly. they started separating it in highschool but the broad subject matter was still called "social studies", in the same way that biology, chemistry, and physics were lumped together under the "science" subject even after they were separated.
anyways for me it is; math is red, science is green, and social studies and english can be either yellow or blue depending on the context.

I feel most strongly about English. There is no color but yellow for English.

social studies is purple and spanish is orange I definitely agree with the Spanish one. I just realized this year I’m using a giant combined binder and that means each class doesn’t get their own binder or folder EXCEPT film theory and Spanish. Spanish is red this year which is weird for me but that’s just cuz we had to have a specific Spanish binder, and film theory im re-using one of the astronomy and astrology folders that I didn’t use last year
