.·:*¨ ♚ ¨*:·. Maylin Sownlace .·:*¨ 🌣 ¨*:·. Princess of the Kingdom of the Sun A slight blush crept up onto her cheeks as Tsu teased her about sharing their childhood adventures with Tenebris. Tenebris knew everything when it came to her life, even the stuff he did not particularly care for. On days when she could escape her royal duties, she would sit for hours with the black dragon reminiscing on the days where the only care in the world was the next game to play.
“If this old grump wants to fly then he wouldn’t mind at all,” Maylin said, her eyes flicking to Tenebris and then back to the men. Her mind started racing, realizing Tsuruya would have to wrap his arms around her to fly. It wouldn’t be a bad thing, they used to wrestle and practice hand-to-hand combat as kids. But they aren't kids anymore.
Trying to brush the thought away before her face turned red and gave her away, she looked to Kirari. “Where is your dragon? Can you call them? “ she questioned. Maylin did not want him to feel left out.

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Sir Kylian Shadowfern ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙ Royal Knight of the Eleven-Forest Kingdom Kylian buckled down on his control and managed to not roll his eyes at the princess. “Actually sir,” he said, glancing at her with an unreadable look, and then back to the backsmith,” Incase the wood pole within a silver silver made pole. Do not disturbed the actual pole. Just put it in a protective layer.” The blacksmith nodded and carefully took the spear from Cori. “It’ll be done on the morrow,” the blacksmith said, walking back to his crafting table. Letting out a relieved sigh he turned to the princess,” If that staff pole means anything to you, you will let him incase it in the silver. It's the only way to protect it and yourself. We can't have your wood pole break in the middle of battle,” he explained before the princess exploded on him. “It will not come to harm in the protection of the silver.”

She needed to stick with Ren.He was her best shot at staying alive. He had the street smarts and the dragon. She could hunt to keep them fed. Her fingers tapped along the edge of the table. This man wasn't just willing to help; he was offering partnership with her to just simply survive. Ourania sat up a little straighter and folded her hands in front of her on the table. “I w-would very much l-l-like to be traveling partners,” she said, giving him a soft smile.

☆ ☆ ☆ Hoshina Kirari, Heir To The Shogunate ☆ ☆ ☆ ~~~
"Excellent~" Tsuruya wasted no time in slipping a cord from his obi and using it to tie back his trailing sleeves. Instinctively, Kirari moves forward to adjust his crown and slip a pin from his own headdress into the place where it covers his topknot as insurance. While not familiar with dragon riding himself, he often helped his friend prepare for journeys with Byakuran. Part of him cringes at what may become of both the princess's fine dress and the prince's showy garments, but he can be relieved that Tsuruya had elected to wear hakama today.
Kirari steps back and holds up his hands at the princess's inquiry, wearing a sheepish smile. "I am afraid that I don't know where Sedzukiya is- we're newly bonded so we don't have the connection that Tsu and Byakuran have. I will be sure to introduce her to you both when we have the opportunity! In the mean time, please don't worry about me. I wouldn't mind spending some time to reflect...so please enjoy your flight~" He smiles at them both.

♤♤♤ Askran A. Asterine, Chase the Courier ♤♤♤ ~~~
The tall elf dipped his head in thanks, hands returning to the folds of his sleeves. "That would be much appreciated, and-" His wine-colored gaze briefly shifted to Askran, who watched impassively. "-I suppose I am~" He smiled again, narrow eyes nearly closing with the action.
Askran chose then to speak up. "Is that so? What an honor to serve one of the Dirge Vivace!" He donned the 'service smile' that he perfected over the years and officially welcomed the man, briefly tapping a hand to his heart before sweeping it out towards him. "Gren!" The passing blonde jerkily swings around and peers around a burly man with a full mug. Some of the froth drips onto her hair but she doesn't appear to notice.
"Yes~?" Her voice is chirpy as ever, the scars that earned her the name pulling on the delicate skin of her round face. Gren doesn't need an artificial smile, however, beaming automatically as soon as her warm brown gaze meets Askran's.
"Please find our guest a seat on the second floor and see to his needs."
It'd probably be a better idea to have one of the more...levelheaded servers attend him but Gren is free and Askran can't be bothered to find anyone else. Technically as the highest ranked amongst them, he should be personally tending the man, but Usada Mamoru isn't a noble so he thinks he can get away with it. Besides, despite the man's high rank he is expected to live an ascetic lifestyle as a monk. Askran doubts he'd hold the tavern to standing on ceremony.
Aware that he is being dismissed, Usada dips his head with one more unsettling smile to lower the temperature. "Thank you, Sir Asterine. And you as well, Miss Cerise. I hope to see you at dinner." He turns gracefully and floats away, following in Gren's bumbling wake.
"It's Archaise." Askran can't help muttering under his breath, but the man is already out of earshot. Presumably. His broad shoulders shake as if in silent laughter, but Askran is likely just being paranoid. He turns back to the blonde with a sigh, but hastily straightens and dons a loose smile. After telling her the total cost he steps aside briefly so that Fern can place a steaming meat pie and mug of cold water before her. "Enjoy!" She winks before heading back into the kitchens.
"It looks like we're almost at capacity," Askran notes. "Why don't you pull up a stool for now?"
A man nearly hangs over the counter to call for a refill, and Askran flicks him in the forehead, tone scolding when the man recoils. "Mind the lady you dolt! And she heard you the first time, move further down!"
He waves the scowling man away and rolls up his white linen sleeves with a click of his tongue. Obviously they're too busy for him to stay and chat, so he'll have to man the counter while he does so. After filling two cups and sliding them toward the crowd at the far end of the counter- and rapping the knuckles of a woman trying to steal Cerise's cinnamon cakes- Askran finally has the space to ask: "Have you made dragon armor before? Is the process very different from armor for men?"
The line of questioning is more innocent and pertains to their earlier conversation, but he finds his mind wondrering at the change in how she spoke. He had caught her switch up earlier- even though she was polite throughout their short interaction, she had become much more so when facing Usada. Her back straightened automatically and her stance became more poised. The working class tended to be polite out of wariness when facing someone of a higher station, but Cerise's minute change didn't seem like it was learned through being burned by arrogant aristocrats. The change was so fluid it was more like she'd been taught.
He brushes his bangs out of his face, briefly glancing in her direction to study her face and finds it vaguely familiar. He has never seen her before, but he may have seen someone with similar features...

.·:*¨ ♚ ¨*:·. Maylin Sownlace .·:*¨ 🌣 ¨*:·. Princess of the Kingdom of the Sun Giving Kirari a nod, she turned to the red eyed prince , watching him fix his clothing for the flight ahead of them. Glancing back at Kirari she gave him a reassuring look, " I'll bring him back in one piece. If the Gods see it just." Tenebris shifted from slightly as he waited , a chuff leaving him as his impatience grew. A leather saddle fitted the dragon that looped through both wings and across his chest. It was fitted perfectly for him and was dyed the deepest of blacks as possible, but not as black as his scales. The seat rested between his shoulder blades and was equipped with two horns for Maylin to hold on to as the flew.
Her gaze swept back to Tsuruya," Let us fly." On cue, Tenebris very carefully lowered his left shoulder allowing the two to scale up onto the saddle. It was similar to a saddle of a horse would wear except this one did not have stirrups for foot placement. This meant that it was either hang on, or fall. Maylin straddled the seat, her dress coming up revealing more of her smooth pale thighs. Quickly tucking the dress she adjusted herself farther up in the seat that usual allowing room for Tsuruya . "You will need to hold tightly to me, and for the love of the Gods, do not let go," she said adjusting more room. Feeling the prince slip behind her, it took everything in her not to verbally gasp as the fill of his thighs pressing into her. It felt so right to have him this close , but so wrong because what if he did not feel the same way?
Trying to push the thought from her mind was hard work when his arms slipped around her , her back was pressed against his chest which cause her hear to flutter. It was a slight relief he could not she her face in this position because a dark brush had crept across her cheeks. Once it felt like Tsuruya was full secure , she leaned forward grabbing both horns," Tenebris.." The beast of a dragon shifted under them as his shoulder came up off the ground and his shoulders began to roll under them. "Volare." *
Taking a couple long strides forward, Tenebris then shifted all his weight back as he launched himself skyward. His powerful wings pushed them into the sky. The only sound that could be heard was the great whoosh of wings flapping as they climbed the sky.
*Fly

𐦍𐦍𐦍 Ryuen Tsuruya, Imperial Prince of Amigara 𐦍𐦍𐦍 ~~~ "I'd appreciate that~" Kirari responded lightly, smiling to show that he spoke in jest. His fan dangled from its ribbon around his wrist, revealing that his already pale features are wan from the exertion and excitement of the past few days. Tsuruya briefly made eye contact with Heliacal, who had been trailing behind them at a respectful distance. She gave him a curt nod, silently acknowledging the request to see him to their rooms. It isn't necessary to ask, but Tsuruya sought her out due to ingrained habit. Always looking after his frail counterpart.
The taller elf took another step back when Tenebris chuffed, though he managed to keep his wariness off his face. He smiled and treated them to a small wave. "Well, enjoy yourselves, you three~ Be safe Tsu."
"Of course I will!" The prince responded brightly, "I have May to look out for me~"
"Don't give her any trouble then." Kirari's tone was playfully dubious and Tsuruya laughed with a toss of his head, bells chiming along with him.
When the princess responded to her dragon's impatience, Tsuruya met her with a cheery, "Let's~" He waited until the princess had climbed up first to watch how she did it, politely averting his eyes from her revealed skin when her dress rode up. It would be harder to ignore when he was pressed against it however, and he doubted even the threat of falling from the saddle would be a suitable distraction. He was fortunate the relics always on his person kept his body temperature so low. They thrummed where they pressed against the thin silk covering his skin, a chorus of whispers nipping at his ears.
The prince had built up a tolerance for their nonsense over the years however, and dismissed them with a hissed. "Don't you dare attempt to ruin this for me," before he followed the princess up. Her saddle is much simpler and crafted differently from Byakuran's. The pair regularly performed séances and other rituals in the midst of battle, requiring a level of stability that really worked his core when he had first begun riding. The straps over his thighs also helped his body to remain still when lining up shots.
Maylin's saddle required a great level of trust, which he was happy to offer. It had never really left him, to be honest. "Trust me, you would need interference from the gods themselves to have me to let go of you~" And honestly, not even that would be sufficient. Now that he has her. (Not that he has her) He hummed, climbing on and sliding in behind her. Tsuruya pressed in close, more securing her to himself than the other way around. His arms went around her waist, and it took a surprising amount of will power to keep going so that he could lock his gloved hands around her midsection. He had deviated for a moment, but only to tuck more of her dress. For both their sakes.
Dragon riding was as natural to him as riding a horse at this point- walking, even- so he had no suitable explanation for the way his heart beat when he wrapped his arms around the blonde. It had been an age since he'd even come close to hugging her. At some point- probably around ten- his parents and advisors alike insisted that he could no longer greet his friend with physical affection. Even with practice, it had taken some restraint (that he should honestly be praised for showing) to avoid taking the princess in his arms the very moment he saw her again. He should really mention that valiant struggle to Kirari the next time he lectures on 'acting on impulse'- his musings are suddenly swept away with his hair and the petals below as Tenebris launches into the air. The takeoff is as smooth as can be for such a sizable dragon, but Tsuruya still feels that familiar jolt as his balance shifts and gravity fights to keep hold of him.
Tsuruya adjusts his posture and hold on Maylin, leaning forward as they begin to level out and exhaling in pleasure as the world falls away. Tenebris' great wings beat the sky in a dissimilar fashion from Byakuran's- not as rhytmic or smooth- but he's ridden enough dragons to know how to adapt to the change. He leans forward to place his mouth near her ear so that he'll be heard over the rush of wind.
"Where to now~?"

.·:*¨ ♚ ¨*:·. Maylin Sownlace .·:*¨ 🌣 ¨*:·. Princess of the Kingdom of the Sun
Her heart raced in her chest , its beat like wings of a frightened bird taking off. Was this the thrill of flying or was this… was this because of him? Tsuruya. The warmth that spread across her back from being pressed against his chest. The heat of her cheeks at how close contact they are in. Trying to push the thoughts from her was like telling a stone to jump. Maylin tried to relax by rolling her shoulders back a few times after Tenebris leveled out.
Feeling his warm breath on the shell of her ear as he asked the question on where they were going. In all honesty she had not thought this far ahead. It was on an impulse she asked him, she didn't truly want him out of her sight yet. It had not fully set in that he was back, that he was here. He wasn't the boy she had seen all those years ago , but she could still see him in the man he was now.
An idea tiptoes its way into her brain. She would take him very few knew about , it was her own hide away when things in the real world got to be too much to handle. “ A hide out,” Maylin called back to Tsuruya. Leaning forward slightly, she called loudly to Tenebris so he could hear her above the rushing of air,” Oasis!”
After about a 30 minute flight a small building could be seen coming into view on the horizon. As they neared it and the details became clearer the building was made of sandstone and white marble. It was clearly abandoned , pillars were crumbling and sand had started to build up on the walls. Statues of Goddess holding the front of the walk way up lined the entrance, their faces blank and unreadable. Some of them were missing hands, some missing noses. Tenebris circled once around and then landed, leaning his shoulder down so they could exit the saddle. Maylin slid down, her bare feet making a soft thud in the sand.
Looking over her shoulder at Tsuruya, she gave a small smile. “This used to be a hidden temple that the people before us would use. It's almost rubble now but there is more to it than meets the eyes,” she explained. Leading him inside, a small room greeted them. Words written in a dead language lined the border of the ceiling. A small iron gate sat directly in front of them, one side already open. A dark stairwell beconded them as they neared it.
The spiral stairwell led them down, it was small and cramped and seemed to go on forever as Maylin led the way down. But just when you began to think it would never end, it opens up into a large underground cavern. More Goddess statues lined the walkway, these statues were in better condition and different from the ones up top. They held different stances and had plaques with the same dead language scrawled upon them. They seemed to be leading you to the crystal clear pool of water that was being fed by a small stream that bubbled up from seemingly nowhere. Large point crystals in shades or blues and purples dotted the whole area. Art of what looked to be more depictions of Gods , rituals and feasts were painted on the walls, their colors faded with time. An altar of sorts sat in front of the pool, more of the dead language was carved into the white marble stone.
“Not too sure what this place was used for, but I tend to come here in times of solace .. And this place brings me a sense of peace.”

Finn That random street kid that managed to become a chosen one
Finn walked through the streets of the Sun Kingdom, hating the fact that people were looking for him. I mean, so what if he’s a chosen one? Like he should care. He was forced to enter the competition, it was either dying in the competition or instant death. However, he was found as the chosen one. Now he had to deal with the consequences. The Winter Kingdom had to fully realise him after everything he had stole, which not going to lie, made him feel pretty stoked. His whole life, he had lived on the streets, stealing whatever he wanted, but now he had a second chance. Was he going to use it well? Maybe. We’ll see.
Lost in his own thoughts, he didn’t realise when he walked right into someone. “What are you doing?— Watch where your goin—” He blinked, realising it definitely wasn’t some peasant like him. He wiped the dust off his peasant clothes, but didn’t even bow. Like it mattered. Looking up and down at the man, he instantly realised he was definitely Sea Kingdom. The fancy clothing, and the tunics explained that pretty well. Finn was tiny, even though he was a drow elf. Looking up at him, he shrugged. “Anyways, do you know the way to the uhm… the Kingdom of the Sun? It’s for the ceremony or something.” He said to him, unaware of how late he was.
Ave Domine Nox Noctis - you said he could run into Kirari, so I’ve written a post for that! This is Finn, a common thief drow elf, very small, yet the chosen one. Can’t wait to rp him and Cori on the journey!

☆☆☆ Hoshina Kirari, Heir To The Shogunate ☆☆☆
Ahh, Kirari shouldn't have followed Heliacal. He was too much of a coward to actually give her more than a nervous greeting and thank her for waiting for him, so there wasn't a chance he'd be brave enough to actually speak up and inform her that she was leading them in the exact wrong direction. But then there's also a chance that she's taking him to some secluded corner to yell at him- ah, but she can do that just as well in his suite...
Breaths coming out in soft, labored huffs, the prince wilts as he trails behind his stoic knight and casts about with his eyes for something familiar. He hadn't been paying much attention to his surroundings beyond the princess's tour however, and it doesn't appear that they're on that side of the castle anymore...
He blinks in surprise when a tiny elf practically walks right into Heliacal. She growls as she takes a large step back, one hand straying to her sword. Kirari rushes forward and steps between them, his knight resisting by maneuvering so that she's between him and the other elf, who doesn't appear to be much of a threat. They know him, in fact. It's...ah, Finn. The third Chosen One that Kirari was never formally introduced to.
"Pardon me." The prince breathes, straightening so as to not appear as winded as he is. "You are Finn, correct? It's a pleasure to meet you~" He offers an amiable smile. "Are you- are you lost as well?" His expression turns sheepish and Heliacal stiffens in silent offense. "This castle is so large..."

𖤍𖤍𖤍 Ryuen Tsuruya, Imperial Prince of Amigara 𖤍𖤍𖤍 ~~~
'A hideout?' Tsuruya's interest was peaked, and he took to casting his eyes around them as if he could read the unfamiliar landscape and guess at where they were going. He had never been taken much further than the Sun Kingdom's castle on his visits, so the only hideaways of Maylin's that he knew of were ensconced within or somewhere on the grounds. He made a conscious decision to be more excited about the opportunity to explore the Sun Kingdom further rather than to spend time with his childhood friend that wasn't being observed for stiff decorum. As much as he hated to admit it- he couldn't get ahead of himself. She has only ever been his friend, and his parents already had a list of painstakingly chosen marriage candidates lined up. The 'friendship' that the Sea and Sun Kingdoms enjoyed is believed to be stable enough not to require a marriage to soldify it. Instead, the Emperor and Emperess sought to strengthen ties within their own territory with a match between their sole son and High Houses that were better brought to heel.
He had no doubt that they regretted allowing their other children to die in fits of anger, even if it was done to strengthen the son that they had pinned all their hopes on. It was terribly short-sighted - Tsuruya is no longer the obedient prince that they had raised to answer solely to them. His being here with Maylin is proof of that. However, even he knows that his rebellion must be carefully weighed out and calculated so that he doesn't do anything irreversible. They need not worry over his closeness with the Sun Kingdom's princess- Tsuruya is only happy to be reunited with a dear friend. There is no more to it than that~
Tsuruya slid from the saddle after Maylin and smoothed his wind-loosened braid over a shoulder, hands on hips when he surveyed their surroundings with interest in his garnet eyes. "Indeed there is~" His spirits whispered as much, causing the fine hairs near his pointed ears to stir as three at once hovered closer to share their thoughts. Having not anticipated any battle in the heart of the capital, Tsuruya kept only those whose knowledge would benefit him during the fraught time. He kept his distance from the princess now that they had landed, following her at a more sedate pace as the air around him whipped and teased at his hair. Tsurukichi in particular was utterly charmed by the ruined temple, darting away as far as their bond allowed before returning to tap at his shoulder or tug at his hair in an effort to direct his attention to his findings. Tsuruya discreetly batted him away with a hissed, "act your age!" His older brother only responded by tugging harder on his hair, causing the fine bells to echo through the enclosed space of the spiraling staircase.
With his magic in a 'dormant' state, Tsuruya can only register them as shades and whispers who struggled to interact with the material world. But with their Bound objects on his person, they were constant presences that were always on his periphery. His body temperature remained unnaturally low, and the air around him always appeared agitated by an isolated breeze. He would need to banish them to get rid of them- if there weren't a simpler solution. The prince slipped a hand into the folds of fabric over his heart, curling gloved fingers around the quill pen tucked within. He infused both magic and a command into it. A release that loosened their bonds and allowed them greater freedom of movement.
Startled but pleased, the five spirits quickly dispersed throughout the temple. Well, all but one. Tsuruhisa remained hovering at his side. A flicker of movement in the corner of his eye. A chilling sensation at his back. He could never tell if it was out of love or hate, but he hadn't the time nor desire to dwell on it. Maylin was speaking.
Relieved of his ghostly retinue, Tsuruya was free to step closer to the princess, his hands tucked neatly within his long sleeves. "And do you need it now? Peace?" He could tell that she had still been troubled in the War Room, despite his best efforts to ease her mind. They could speak with more candor now, however.
"I found mine when I saw you again."
He can only just hear Tsuruhisa clear her throat.
"My friend." He tacks on with an inner eye roll. Ah, he's in danger of picking up Kira's bad habits~

I'll edit those when I can...
And no problem Polarized! I forgot to say-
Also bringing Tsu's magic more into play. His spirits remain in their Bound objects in mixed company but can and do come out when he's alone or mostly alone. They were kicking about when he was with Kira too but Kira doesn't register them and Tsu was entirely focused on him at the time. )

Finn That random street kid that managed to become a chosen one
Finn blinked out of surprise when he had managed to walk into someone, looking up to see the knight he had walked into. He saw her reach for her sword, but he didn’t look too bothered. It wasn’t like he hadn’t been threatened before. He then watched as a man with silvery white hair stepped forward between them, and Finn looked at him with curiosity.
“Yup. I’m always lost, but yeah, more or so here. Never seen a castle so big. It’s full of people, too.” He paused, thinking his next move, or words. “Finn, but others call me tiny,” He chuckled dryly, looking up and down. “You can guess why.” He looked up to the other chosen one, stumbling himself while trying to remember his name. “Kir—Kirari, right? Yeah, that’s it.” He looked over to his guard, who seemed to give him a unsatisfied stare. “Bad greetings to the side, are we planning on making a move? Slouching around this castle isn’t doing us much good. And, if we are the chosen ones, we gotta take a stand for what’s right.” He turned his gaze back to Kirari, patiently waiting for an answer.

.·:*¨ ♚ ¨*:·. Maylin Sownlace .·:*¨ 🌣 ¨*:·. Princess of the Kingdom of the SunHer heart skipped a little bit at his statement of finding his peace but quickly pulled herself together after adding “my friend” after that. She strolled slowly towards the pull, her fingers lightly tracing the edge of a large blue crystal that protruded from a decently sized cluster. With her back towards him she let out a rather long sigh, her shoulders relaxing slightly. “I am always in search of peace it seems,” Maylin whispered just loud enough for him to hear. “I am next in line for the throne even though my step mother disapproves. She wished her son would replace me but my father is strangely unwavering by this, even though he has treated me differently since they married. “
Maylin took a step forward so that her toes were in the water. The water was cool, almost borderline frigid and it always fascinated her how cold the water stayed. Even on the hottest of days it felt like the seas that bordered the Winter Kingdom. “ I am well past the coming of age year. My father breathes down my neck about marriage. How I should find a husband and begin having children. He says it secures my right to the throne even more,” Maylin paused her thoughts trailing in multiple directions.
Every candidate for marriage that her father has thrown her way just did not feel right to her. Maylin was not the one to judge by looks alone but she did have to be attracted to the man she married. He also needed to hold himself in a certain way, he needed to be aggressive in certain areas but soft in others. She had hoped for someone that had some similar interests as she. Someone who could match her in all areas but worship her as though she was the goddess of his world. “But apparently I am ‘ too picky’ ,” Maylin laughed softly , the sound echoing off the cavern walls.
She turned her head slightly, just enough to see him ,” I counter that statement with I have every right to be picky about the man I marry. I will be queen. I need a man of quality, intelligence , and wit to sit next to me. I must marry for not only myself, but my people. My father is too blind to see that.” Maylin rolled her eyes slightly and turned back to the clear pool of water, her toes tingling from the cold water. “He married a submissive woman who was grateful for such a rise in rank that she'd never become too much of a problem. I have to find a man worthy of being my king but also not stab me in the heart for his selfish gains of having my throne.”
With her back still facing him, her fingers interlocked and she brought them up to rest her chin on them as she whispered, “There's so much more but I truly haven't had a single drop of peace since I last saw you. You were my world , my smile and my peace… I thought you were completely lost from me..” Sighing once more she quickly added," This impending war is also not doing so great on the nerves. I have been constantly in the War Room and library searching for any answers and help we may need. The constant headaches I've been getting as of recent do not aid in my search."

Cori simply shrugged. “Yeah, I guess so.” She looked around, deciding what to do next. She found herself looking at the exit of the castle, her gaze fixed on what could be beyond. “Our kingdom was just to the north, right? It wouldn’t hurt to check it out. I wanna finally see the damage for myself.” Without letting Kylian answer, she started to lead the way. It felt like she couldn’t stop herself, as if curiosity was killing her. She hadn’t returned to her kingdom since that fateful day, and maybe, if Kylian let her, she could see if any of her belongings, or family, still lived.
Even if she didn’t make it back, did she care? She had lost everything, and everyone. She would feel better losing to the ones who had killed her people, instead of dying of boredom back in the Sun Kingdom. Or worse, having to drag around after those chosen ones. She had never seen people so full of themselves, believing they are part of some silly prophecy. They only told themselves they are the special chosen ones to make them feel better, but she knew, when they came face to face with the Blood King, they wouldn’t stand a chance. Their kingdoms would fall just like hers. One by one. They would drop like dominoes, leaving nothing but the dense battlefield behind.

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Sir Kylian Shadowfern ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙ Royal Knight of the Eleven-Forest Kingdom Every muscle in Kylian's body tensed at her words. Was she mad? Truly mad? She got only a few feet from him when he reached out grabbing her arm and turning her to face him. An emotion that was rarely seen on him was currently blazing in his eyes, anger. His grip was tight but not enough to hurt her. “Have you lost your mind?” his voice was strained , trying to keep the anger down. “No offense princess but have you lost all common sense? You think that because the kingdom was conquered that they’d just up and leave it? That none of those things would still be roaming around?” Kylian let go of her running his fingers through his hair.
“You're smarter than this, “ his golden brown eyes locked onto hers. “You know very well they still lurk there. You know very well that going in there just us two is a su!c!de mission, one i am not allowing you to take. They will kill you and then your remaining civilians that made it out will truly lose hope Cori. You will be dooming your kingdom if you go,” Kylian let go of her arm. He excepted backlash for this and he knew she was thinking with grief rather than logic in this situation but he needed to reach her. “ Do you think your father and mother would want you waltzing into your own death? Do you truly think they would want their heir, their legacy to die because you want to ‘ check it out’ ?”
Kylain paused for a moment, his features softened and his shoulder laxed a bit. “I know you're grieving. I know you feel lost because of what happened. But I need you to use that brilliant brain I know you have and think with logic.”
