Tidalclan
So glad you came to join us on our wave of adventure.
You are now at Tidalclan.
History
Tidalclan is a clan- unlike most- on a far off safe island. Safe. For now… Like the other clans believe in starclan so does Tidalclan. The clan was founded by a group of cats on a cruise ship with their twolegs the ship came to a deserted preserved island and the cats jumped to the safety of the island never going back to their twolegs again. The “leader” of the group, Tidal decided to form a group of cats on this island, every two times a season a twoleg ship would come and a few former kittypets would escape to the safety of the other cats. Tidal started to get dreams from cats telling him he would be Tidalstar, leader of Tidalclan… Bla bla you know the rest.
Rules

3. I am writer, writing my own series currently (before you ask no nothing of mine is yet published) and I completely understand feeling lazy or not willing to type a three paragraph essay to rp you do not by any means have to! I just want you to push yourself to at least four sentences.
4. I get it, people have lives off the phone or computer but try to rp at least once a week if you are gone for a week I will check to see if everything is ok if not for two weeks you may be removed from the rp (with the total option to join back).
5. Harassment and spamming is not tolerated at all if I see spamming I will give a warning to remove If it happens again you will be removed without further notice same with harassing.
6. This rp is friendly to younger members so we don’t tolerate cursing whatsoever of course you can use mousedung harebrain ECT.
7. As long as we are open feel free to join if I don’t answer in three days I don’t mind if you private message me. There will be no using the discussion or rp page until you are accepted into the rp.
8. Just have fun that is the only reason this rp is even posted if I see anyone not having fun you will be removed without warning. (JK lol I would never).

Plot
As usual the leader, deputy, and medicine cat were going to recruit the kittypets to Tidalclan but something goes wrong… terribly wrong. The cats arrive at the ship for the new cats and as they approach, a twoleg comes out of nowhere scooping them up and onto the ship. Off they go! Back in the clan the warriors declare something wrong and go to investigate further, following the scent trail they find out what happened and before they know it the ship takes off and the three can’t came back. Join us on our adventure to find out what will happen next with our frazzled, grief stricken medicine apprentice left with a whole clan of angry disgruntled warriors.
code
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan’s territory.
3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.
10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
characteristics
Tidalclan, the bold and handy has adapted to the little woodland prey and learned to fish, but more impressive than that they can use shells to crack open oysters, clams, and muscles! The clan has grown used to the extreme heat and rain digging out small pools for rainwater. Tidalclan warriors are grouped into two groups soggyfurred and grasspelts (soggyfurred: cats who are more suited hunting and ptroling in the water climates.) (grasspelts: cats who are better supported in the dry parts of the island.) As an apprentice all cats have water and dryland training and during the warrior ceremonies the leader announces if they will major in dryland or wetland. Tidalclan doesn’t experience rogues, but have had lots of experience in fighting other animals that have been problems.
territory
Tidalclan lives on a tropical island off the caribbean seas, which is a warm climate, meaning the clan has not experienced cold and hunger really (droughts have happened) . The island is full of palm trees and other tropical plant producing fruits such as, coconuts, mangos, and an occasional pineapple. The sea is very calm (unless a storm hits) letting cats go a few feet into the waves to catch a fish and or teach apprentices how to swim as the clan is comfortable in the salty water of the caribbean ocean.
camp
The camp is surrounded by a grove of close-together palm trees and tall grass with a entrance among the fonds of grass.
Leader’s den: The leaders den is a small hole by the roots of a mangrove tree.
Medicine den: The medicine den is under a small pygmy palm with moss between the leaves to enforce the shelter.
Warriors den:The warriors den is sheltered under the large roots of another mangrove tree with big palm leaves weaved to shelter from rain.
High branch:As every clan has Tidalclan has a ledge of some sort for clan meetings, called the high branch which is off of a oddly twisted palm tree.
Nursery:The nursery is a low hole in one of the few oaks on the island that used to be a bird’s home. It is very spacious and below the oak is a pool of rainwater that gathers as this pool is one of the cats only drinking source since the ocean water is salty and not very reliable to live off of.
Elders den:The elders make their home under a berry bush where extra leaves are added to the elder’s many needs.
Apprentices den:The apprentices sleep in the same type of thing as the elders.
landmarks
Oak tree grove:A small group of oaks east of camp and south of the deepest part of the beach. The oaks are the best place to hunt for grasspelted cats.
Palm grove:Another prime spot for the grasspelted cats where some mice and voles like to scurry around. The palm grove is on the exact opposite side of the oaks making it north of the training dunes, west of camp, and south of the oyster beds.
Oyster beds:This place is dangerous but also very helpful for finding food. There are not many oysters here with food, most just shells. But this rocky part of the beach is also helpful for finding clams and occasional old muscles washed up.(soggyfurred cats)
Training dunes:The training dunes are hills of soft sand and dirt with some spurts of tall beach-grass here and there. The dunes are everywhere, but one specific spot the cats find to be the perfect spot for training with four hills and a grassy clearing at the middle of all of them.
Shallows:The shallows are a spot for the soggyfurred to go fishing easily the other spots of the ocean are too deep or rocky or just shout of fish, making this perfect of finding plenty of fish.

Twoleg Day
(Two times a season)
This day is the day two times a season when danger, and new opportunities come to the clan. This is how the clan was formed. When a tourist twoleg ship comes to the island with some kittypets the clans leader, medicine cat, and deputy go to find some new recruits and usually they are in luck finding an average of one-three egar kittypets or traveling loners. This day is not only positive but a day twolegs can do harm to the cats and their prey. Back at camp everyone has something to do, the medicine cats have to prepare herbs if the newcomers are sick or injured before they leave (unless there is an medicine apprentice in camp). The apprentices and kits above four moons make nests, and the deputy decides on four of the clans strongest warriors and one honored apprentice to stand guard and patrol through the night without food or rest (the cats think the twolegs can smell food on their breath). Even the elders have a job, watching the kits because the warriors need all the nursing queens to help reinforce the barrier. After this day is a day of well deserved rest and new cats for the rest of the session till the day comes again.
Full moon
On the night of the full moon the chosen warriors of the clan and the leader will travel to the oyster beds and pick a shell that represents them. That night they go back to the camp and sleep with the shell under their nests is starclan has something to say to that cat personally they will get dreams from the shell. If not, nothing will come to them. The medicine cats are not allowed to get a shell that night because on the morning after the full moon all the cats who got a shell will toss the shell back into the sea for the medicine cats to dream on the half moon. On the same night the clan back at camp is on high alert, Tidalclan has noticed foxes and other predators have gone odd and more wild or desperate this night is dangerous for kits, elders, and weaker cats in the camp as less warriors mean less of a chance of beating an attack.
Half moon
The night of the half moon is about the medicine cats. On that night the medicine cats of Tidalclan pick one or two warriors to accompany them to the shallows where they will stay by the dunes and keep watch. The medicine cats will sense a special wave that only happens every half moon the moon wave. As the moon-wave crashes they will let it crash over them being drenched they will not dry off and fall asleep in the sand next to the water. In their dreams they will not get personal messages but things that concern the whole clan. The warriors down the beach will keep watch for any predators that will harm the cats as they sleep. If the medicine cats don’t allow themselves to get wet or dry themselves before they go to sleep they will suffer a punishment from Starclan as a warrior apprentice breaking the warrior code would.
vigil
On the night of a warriors death the cats will do the traditional vigil and when the sun comes up the warriors will construct a woven raft while the warriors loved ones gather to groom him/her one last time. That day all the clan will gather by the sea and push the raft of the cat'Ls body into the waves where they will rest forever. With the scent of blood and cat the sharks and orcas might be lurking around the reef. For the next two days all cats are forbidden to hunt and swim in the sea incase of an attack.

Ripplestar is a gray and blueish purebred bengal tom. He has a strong build and emerald eyes. Ripple has a blue tipped tail and long black claws. He has a torn ear from a recent battle. Ripplestar is proud. He is a strong, sturdy and bold tom. Ripple can come off intimidating or cold but he really cares about the cats he loves and is a big softie at heart. Ripple has pretty good leadership qualities but he can snap at times or severe anger or despair.

Jellyfishdancer is a bit emotionally unstable. However, they can also keep their emotion levels at a reasonable level, and they are overall a fun cat to hang out with.

Oysterpaw may be young, but her wisdom levels are unusual. She's very empathetic and is rather expressive.

Dewfur ~ 37 moons ~ male (he/him
He is a gray tom with dark stripes along his pelt. The stripes go along his back, tail, legs, neck, and face. His eyes are sky blue and he has small fuzzy tufts on the ends of his ears. His tail is long and fluffy and the fur on his cheeks droop down. He is very friendly and easy to get along with. He is also very loyal to the clan and will defend it fiercely.
Fireflight ~ 26 ~ male(he/him)
A dark ginger tomcat who has a bad sense of smell making it difficult fireflight has a large body form making his fighting skill very good on head-to head combat. Fire is an ambitious rude tom who has his enemies, and is only really out to help the clan giving him a good leader quality.

She's an overbearing mother, being overworked and amazed by her daughter's skills. She's also very advice-giving and is the right cat to talk to for advice!
Owlswoop ~~ 15 moons ~~ he/him
A ruddy Tom with a smooth coat. His legs and tail are just a little too long to look anything but jaggly and young. His amber eyes are always wide open, like he just heard a secret. A little bit of a snaggle tooth.
A confident cat, gained from a natural athletic nature. Often moves very quickly or continuously fidgets. Not one for standing still or listening. He tries his best to remember orders but sometimes they just slip his mind. He tends to resist doing things he knows he is bad at. His one wish is to become a mentor thinking that’s when he is truly a warrior.

gossips as often as she can with Algaepaw and whoever will listen, she's a huge flirt even though no cat is interested in her, and she is constantly grooming herself or reminding one of her children to fix their appearance. she is the most spontaneous in her family and often is the cause of drama.

Opalheart is a well kept sleek brown tabby with a very white chest and stomach. Opalheart is a calm and peaceful she who yet her kindness is a fierce fighter. Opal has struggled to click with some of the other warriors, she can be closed minded to a few things like big changes.
Wrenwing ~ 17 moons ~ female (she/her)
Wrenwing is a marbled white and gray she with beautiful hazel eyes and long fur. Wren has a torn claw from the cruise floor as she leapt off giving her a small limp making her not able to run as fast as the other warriors.
She is a determined and bubbly warrior making her energetic and youthful. Wren struggles to follow directions meaning she is not the best with the whole "following the warrior code" thing. She is confident and sweet but when embarrassed she goes back at a cat making the situation worse.
Webfin ~ 32 moons ~ female (She/her)
A short furred she-cat with grey-green eyes and black and brown markings. She has a small marking on her shoulder that looks like a crescent moon. her left ear is completely white.
She is very calm and empathetic. She usually likes helping around the nursery but doesn't have any kits or a mate. During battles she hates having to sit on the sidelines, unless she's protecting someone or someones.

Her tuxedo patterned pelt still shines as if she was an apprentice but now has a speckling of grey fur. The pupils of her green eyes are slightly clouded with grey. She is often flicking her ears or twitching her pink nose. Missing patches of fur and small scars mark her paws from years of scraping against ocean rocks for oysters and clams.
She takes pride in the source of her name: reliability. She is known to always be where she is expected and doesn’t like to get creative with much. She is exceptionally patient and clear spoken. Though, if someone were to contradict her, she won’t fight it. Rather, she simply agrees out loud and disagrees in her mind. Something’s have always been done one way for a reason, she figures. She knows she is on the cusp of retirement but can’t seem to rest yet.

ladies man but kinda weird. he's a fitness junkie and a health nut, and he loves to spar.

Dolphinpaw is a light brown cat with blue gray eyes and a dark tail. He has large ears and black covering most of his nose. Dolphin is an out going go with the flow kinda guy. You will mostly find him in a good mood, he finds drama unnecessary and will brush things off easily. Though Dolphin is a sweetheart he is not the quickest thinker making him not very cut out to be a warrior. (soggypelted apprentice)

Shorelinepaw is rather snappy and is willing to pick a fight with anyone and everyone. However, if you manage to befriend him, he's genuinely a sweetheart and is rather friendly.

sarcastic and spoiled, she loves to be the center of attention. Dawnfeather is her best friend.

Pearleye ~ 39 moons ~ female(she/her) a pretty, fluffy, longfurred white cat with one green and one pale blue eye
pearleye is a calm, levelheaded cat. She is kind, is a little bit dreamy sometimes and tends to get distracted easily. Perleye is impatient and doesn´t like waiting. She hates fishing, she dislikes water and prefers to keep her fur dry. She is also a hypocrite sometimes.
Slatekit(fall) ~ 3 moons ~ male(he/him)
Slate is a fluffy and sometimes unkept tom with some streaks of tan running along his spine. Slate has deep blue eyes that can convince anyone of almost of anything. Slate is an energetic and bouncy tom who can be a little sassy but then can be sensitive too which tend to clash. He is a sweet soul but some cats say he is "bouncing off walls" or "he has a death wish" the last one refers to him deciding to throw himself in any danger he can get his tiny paws on.
Stormkit(?) ~ 3 moons ~ Female (She/her)
She is a medium-furred she-cat with light grey fur and soft green-blue eyes. She has a stubbed tail and an extra toe that has two claws.
She is very loud and rambunctious, she is a social butterfly and will often bounce around camp.
Prawnkit(tail) ~ 3 moons ~ tom (he/him)
a chubby-cheeked kit with cream-coloured fur and green eyes.
takes after his mother with his distaste for water, but he can't help wondering what tasty things might be swimming around inside. A fussy little kit with gourmet tastes. He doesn't like taking risks, but he's also extremely nosy, which can sometimes clash...
Elders ~ Torrentear ~ 87 moons ~ male (he/him)
Torrent is a smaller tomcat with tiny paws and very light green-brown eyes. He has a similar build to Ripple with light tan and sandy colored fur. Torrentear has a proud personality with affection in every inch of him. Anxiety and nerves do take part in this cat's mind as he got older and when he lost searipple.

Luna ~ 26 moons ~ female
Luna is a dark gray and Russian blue fluffy she who has perfectly cut fur and large emerald eyes. She has jet black claws and walks around quiet and lightly.
Luna is a mature, stubborn, and independent cat who pushes herself and others to the limit in just about anything and everything. She has no physical disabilities abut not many physical abilities either though she is quick thinking she can't manage to hunt for herself and mostly relies on her twolegs for food of any value.
Urchin ~ 24 moons old ~ She-Cat (She/Her)
A small fluffy black she-cat with round yellow eyes, and a barely visible yellow collar. (REFERENCE SHEET)
In a strong contrast to her friend Luna, she is rather childish and vocal, being very hyper.
Vapor ~ 6 moons ~ female
She is a gray-pointed, spotted tabby. She has extremely sharp fangs and is missing her front left paw. She has learned to live without her paw but still struggles a bit with daily life. She has a share green glare.
She is sharp-tongued and has a rough exterior. She is very independent and often disregards warnings going head-first into danger.

Just putting this out there I will be working on more and adding them to this post.
Ripplestar ~ 62 moons ~ male(he/him)

Role: Tidalclan leader (soggypelted)
Backstory: Ripple was born as Ripplekit to searipple and Torrentear. His mother died giving birth to him so Torrentear decided to name him Ripplekit after his brave mom. He has a lot of her qualities being ambitious and bold but he has the sturdy build and affection from his father. He had a pretty hard apprenticeship getting very bad dehydration and ending up in the medicine den for just more then a whole moon. Finally at over 13 moons he was made a warrior given the name Rippledusk. Rippledusk then became deputy at 38 moons shortly before past leader, Cricketstar died from a snake bite. He received his nine lives at 40 moons old and is thriving as a leader currently.

He is a sweet soul but some cats say he is "bouncing off walls" or "he has a death wish" the last one refers to him deciding to throw himself in any danger he can get his tiny paws on.

Physical description: Torrent is a smaller tomcat with tiny paws and very light green-brown eyes. He has a similar build to Ripple with light tan and sandy colored fur.
Personality: Torrentear has a proud personality with affection in every inch of him. Anxiety and nerves do take part in this cat's mind as he got older and when he lost searipple.
Role: elder (retired grasspelted warrior)
Backstory: Torrentear was born to a happy couple living along the streets, they got good food from the bakery they would rob and some kind people walking around. One dad his mother was sleeping and Torrent's father decided to dump him at the doorstep of a twoleg the twoleg of course took him in, and they were happy for about 2 moons until his owner took him on a cruise with a few other cats, he was only at the age of 7 1/2 moons now so when they reached the island and the clan asked him the question of course he said yes. Soon after joining the clan he and another apprentice fell in love and her name was Searipple. The two became so close and were mates as soon as their warrior ceremony and as she was giving birth to their firstborn Ripple she did not make it and Torrentear named his only kit after her moving on and getting very close to his son.

Personality: Dolphin is an out going go with the flow kinda guy. You will mostly find him in a good mood, he finds drama unnecessary and will brush things off easily. Though Dolphin is a sweetheart he is not the quickest thinker making him not very cut out to be a warrior.

Backstory: Dolphinpaw was born into Tidalclan to (open parent) and (open parent) he was a pretty ordinary kit at first wanting to be a leader but when he got a little older he realized even in the play-battles between him and his friends he was not agile or cut out for fighting. In his 4th moon Dolphin started to grow interested in the medicine role until (medicine apprentice's name here) took up the role and he has been working to be a warrior ever since.

Backstory: Fire was recruited as a towncat and did not have faith in the clan's ancestors until one of his good friends Ripple who basically took him in as an older brother when he joined Tidal, when Ripple got his nine lives he got faith in Starclan and has been out to succeed in clan life ever since.

Personality: She is a determined and bubbly warrior making her energetic and youthful. Wren struggles to follow directions meaning she is not the best with the whole "following the warrior code" thing. She is confident and sweet but when embarrassed she goes back at a cat making the situation worse.

Backstory: Wren was kittypet born and came to Tidalclan with her owner, Bonnie and was overjoyed when Ripplestar invited her to join. She came in the cruise with Opalheart tearing a claw on the boat jumping off and was good friends with her ever since. Eventually after 2 moons of the clan she said she was homesick and wanted to go back, some of her friends changed her mind and she decided to stay with the clan.

She has no physical disabilities abut not many physical abilities either though she is quick thinking she can't manage to hunt for herself and mostly relies on her twolegs for food of any value.

They sold her yet again to a kind man and his wife in about their 50's and it was her decided forever home. (she will be on the plot ship that takes the leader medicine cat and deputy and end up in Tida)l
