Demon Slayer RP Planning Thread

Kenzo is a somewhat tall man, standing at 6’3”. He’s got a fairly muscular build, and slightly tanned skin. His hair is dark green in color and he likes to keep it somewhat short, and it’s a bit messy. Kenzo has dark green eyes, a splash of freckles on the bridge of his nose, and a sturdy jawline. He has a short beard the same color as his hair. He is almost always seen with a smile on his face and laughter at the ready. Kenzo normally wears the standard demon slayer outfit underneath a dark green Haori with a tribal design stitched in white, both the top of his demon slayer uniform and his Haori is left partially open, revealing part of his chest, and he also wears the standard white sword belt.

Kenzo is a loyal, brave, and kindhearted man. He will stick with his friends to the end, and always does his best to make sure they stay happy. Kenzie tries to be a good mentor to anyone in need of guidance, whether it be guidance in demon slayer, or in life in general. He is always willing to risk his life to help somebody out. Kenzo can be overprotective, wary, and blunt however, which has gotten him in trouble more than a few times. If you are really close to him, he may seem smothering at times. Kenzo is usually fairly skeptical, and almost always say what’s on his mind, even if you don’t want to hear it.

Kenzo joined the Demon Slayers when he was around 14 years old. He didn’t have any traumatic reasoning behind it, the kindhearted young boy only wanted to join because he knew most of the other members of the Demon Slayers Corps probably did have traumatic and heart wrenching reasons for why they joined, and he wanted to be there and help them out, mentally and physically. He wanted to make it to where their smiles became genuine again, and he wanted to stop the demons from terrorizing anyone else. At first he was an absolute amateur, clumsy, and had no physical talents to speak of, so he trained, and he trained hard, sword and jokes alike, honing his skills and strengthening his body until he was one of the best. In a little under 4 years, he climbed up the ranks, becoming a Hashira before he turned 18 years old, and he already became one of the most beloved members in the Corps even before that.

Kenzo’s family lives in a small village near the base of a river, earning a living by selling the fish that they catch. All of his family is still alive, both of his parents and his little brother remaining safe from the threat of the demons so far. Kenzo’s demon slaying sword is a katana with a dark green Nichirin blade, with a green and white cloth wrapped hilt, and a green circular guard with white swirls etched into it, and a white outside edge.

Fireclaw

Ryōma is somewhat tall for his age, standing around 5’10”. He has an oval shaped head with a defined, slightly pointed chin and a sturdy jawline. His face is usually held forward in a steady gaze, and already has an air of authority that is palpable. He has somewhat long reddish brown hair, most of it tied behind his head, with a few locks framing his face, dark brown eyes, and an almost faded splash of freckles on the bridge of his nose. Ryōma’s skin is marked with small scars, nothing so bad that it would damage his good looks, though. He has slightly thin eyebrows, usually raised up high in amusement, or pointed down sharply if something upsets him or makes him angry. He is usually either seen with a goofy grin on his face when he feels happy and at ease, a determined scowl when he is faced with a challenge or an opponent, or he takes up a brooding expression. Ryōma is a very tanned man with calloused hands, due to days and days out in the hot sun training, working odd jobs here and there, or from helping someone out. He has a lean, muscular build to himself that’s built more for speed than strength, though he’s won more than his fair share of fist fights, and his body is very durable and sturdy, and he has a lot of stamina, meaning that he could really take on the hits before he gets worn out or beat up. Ryōma is usually seen wearing the standard Demon Slayer uniform, with a dark red and multi shaded orange patterned Haori on top of it, a pair of Hanafuda earrings, the stand white sword belt with a sheath hanging along both hips, and a small yellow and white kid sized scarf that used to belong to his childhood friend before she went missing.

Ryōma is a somewhat fairly nice guy, but he has a slight anger problem, causing him to lash out at people he cares about, making him hurt people when he doesn't want to. This usually happens when he feels pressured or frustrated and when he feels like all hope is lost. He isn’t against hurting people, though. He is ruthless against anyone that he deems an enemy. He is a very loyal friend or ally, but if you betray him, it is hard to gain his trust back. He will hunt you down to the end of the earth if you betray or double cross him. To some, Ryōma acts like a hard, cruel man who would go to far lengths to get what he wants, and sometimes he will. But, once you get to know him, you realize that's not always the case. He is sometimes like a kid at heart, joking around with people and attempting to ease any tension during stressful days. Ryōma is fairly carefree and reckless in nature, always using a little too much power or skill then the scenario needed, whether fighting against friend or foe, Ryōma doesn't know when to hold back. He is a very loyal ally, never backing down, even if victory is doubtful. Even though Ryōma is a fairly decent guy, he is willing to do fairly bad things for the greater good of his people and friends. The last few years, however, Ryōma has been more closed off, distant, depressed,and more filled with anger towards the Demons, ever since the instance when a Demon attacked his village, wiped out his family, and caused the disappearance of his childhood best friend and crush. He still tries to be his old happy go lucky self, but it’s just harder currently for him. Ryōma’s personality resembles the way he fights, it’s unpredictable. You never know what he’s gonna say or do, most of the time it’s harmless and leads to a good laugh, though sometimes he does something that he’ll end up regretting.

Ryōma grew up just outside of a small village that set at the base of a large mountain. His family were farmers who grew rice, it being the main source of income for most family’s in their village, though Ryōma would also climb up the mountain almost everyday to cut and sell firewood so that his family would have a better chance of getting by. One night when he was 12 years old, he was in the village and finishing up selling his firewood, there was a demon attack. Ryōma never saw the creature, but it killed his entire family, and everyone else in the village. The only person he knew who lived through the initial attack was his childhood friend, though she was abducted by the demon. Using his keen sense of touch, Ryōma tracked the demon and his friend nonstop for three weeks, before exhaustion overcame him and he collapsed, too weak to go on. There, a Demon Slayer found him laying on the ground, in a weakened and feverish state. The Demon Slayer was a newly appointed Hashira at the time, Kenzo Bushima, who was trying to pick up the trail of the demon who attacked the village. Taking the weak child in instead of continuing his pursuit, he nursed him back to health. Impressed by Ryōma’s pure determination to get revenge and save the girl he cared for, and also impressed by his outstanding physical abilities once healthy and his natural abilities with a blade, Kenzo decided to name Ryōma as his Tsuguko and train him up, intending on helping him on his quest to reclaim his life, and planning on doing everything in his power to save the disheartened and depressed child.

He currently doesn’t have any living family members, all of them ending up getting murdered by a demon, his parents and 4 siblings. Ryōma’s demon slaying weapons are large, dual, wide bladed Scimitars with orange Nichirin blades, known for their lightning fast speed and exceptional slashing abilities. The backside of each blade is sharpened one third of the way back from the tip, and on the backside of each blade, by the tip, there’s a backwards facing tip which serves greatly in both offensive and defensive situations. The hilts of his swords are wrapped in black and gold strings, and their guards are golden 8 pointed stars framed with a circle. Ryōma is ambidextrous, causing him to be a naturally gifted fighter with his dual blades.

Fireclaw

First Form: Detonation
The user performs a single high powered vertical slash with one blade while using the other blade to defend against any possible attacks.

Second Form: Exploding Slash
The user performs a single, high powered horizontal slash with one blade while using the other blade to defend against any possible attacks.

Third Form: Blazing Storm
The user dashes forward quickly, before performing two simultaneous horizontal slashes from both directions aimed at the opponents neck.

Forth Form: Ignited Blaze
A combo attack where the user performs a fast vertical slash with one blade, before twisting their body around and performing a horizontal slash with the other blade.

Fifth Form: Bursting Blade
High speed, repeated thrust attacks with the point of both of the blades.

Sixth Form: Swirling Blast
The user dashes forward at blinding speeds, before twisting their body and making continuous diagonal slashes, spinning in a cyclone pattern.

Seventh Form: Raging Eruption
The user dashes quickly forward, staying low to the ground and performing an upwards slash with both blades.

Eighth Form: Deflecting Gale
The user parry’s an oncoming attack with one blade, before twisting their body around and performing a horizontal slash with the other.

Ninth Form: Dancing Blade, Swirling Storm
The user unleashes a whirlwind of frenzied slashes around their body that can defend them from incoming attacks and slice up their surroundings.

Tenth Form: Tempestuous Inferno
The user leaps into the air and swings their blades rapidly, creating circular torrents of slashes that cuts up the opponent repeatedly.

Eleventh Form: Blessed Gust, Flowing Strike
The user performs a front flip at high speed, leaping over their opponent and getting behind them, and while upside down performs a horizontal slash towards the back of their neck, a move designed to eliminate opponents as quickly and painlessly as possible. Usually only used on demons who surrender and wish for a peaceful death.

Twelfth Form: Firework Mirage
The swordsman utilizes this technique to evade incoming attacks with extremely high speed twists, rotations, and dashes, thus creating afterimages and confusing their opponent.

Thirteenth Form: Dancing Dragon, Turbulent Blast
The swordsman unleashes a continuous fast and powerful sword attack that coils and forms the movement of a Chinese dragon, and is capable of decapitating multiple enemies at once.

Fourteenth Form: Esoteric Art: Yamada’s Conflagrating Vengeance
An all out offensive attack where the user dashes forward at an extremely high speed, slashing the opponent with the back of one of their blades, catching and pinning them in place with the backwards facing tip on that blade, before performing a flurry of extremely fast slashes and thrusts with the other blade, before finishing off with a horizontal slash towards the opponents neck. This move is considerably dangerous, due to the fact that it tosses away all forms of defense for overwhelming offensive power, and pushes the users physical limits to the max. Due to the danger of this final form, it is ruled to be a hidden form, will only be taught to members of the Yamada family, and is only allowed to be used when absolutely necessary.

Yumi is somewhat tall for a female, standing at 5ft 11in. Her skin is fairly pale in color, with a pink vine pattern covering her entire body, and she has an hour glass figure. She has black hair and emerald green eyes. She has two short demon horns which are almost completely hidden underneath her hair, and short but extremely sharp claws. She usually wears long kimono’s that fit her loosely so that she could move around easily in them. Yumi usually only wears red and gold kimonos with different flower designs stitched into them, as well as other warmer colors, preferring those colors over cooler ones since she looks much better in them.

Yumi is a selfish lady, hardly ever helping anyone out, and only doing anything for anyone if she would come out on top of the deal. She is a dangerous lady to cross, and she doesn't forget things easily, and she never forgives. She likes to use the her own attractiveness , and that of other women who she manipulates to lure her victims in. She works hard to make sure that she is the most powerful woman in the country, and will stop at nothing to get her way.

Yumi was born in the slums on the outskirts of a large and busy district. She was born into poverty, with nothing to her family’s name, though even though she was poor, her clothes like rags and Yuma usually covered in dirt and grim, her natural beauty was unmatched. Even so, she and her family were always looked down on, used, and taken for granted, which angered her to no end, and she swore she would do everything she could to show her worth and prove that she was better than everyone else. Her mother was a low class courtesan, so she followed in her footsteps. Due to her unmistakable beauty and talented singing voice, she quickly moved up in the world, quickly becoming a Geisha and one of the most prominent figures in the district. She was famous, rich, and sought after. However, she was attacked one night, robbed, and left for dead, her beautiful looks becoming temporarily disfigured, and she fell as quickly as she rose, being discarded and treated like dirt once again as interest shifted to newer and younger faces in the business. As she lay there, wallowing in her own misery, pain, and anger due to losing everything she worked for, she was given the chance to become a demon and take revenge against all the humans who did her dirty, and she gladly jumped at the opportunity. She quickly became powerful once again, consuming human after human with ease, feeling no sense of remorse for her actions, due to her hatred towards humans because of how greedy and ruthless they can become, turning on each other at a moments notice.

Her Blood Demon Art is Gas Manipulation. She can use her blood to create and control different types of gases that she excretes from different parts of her body. The gases she can excrete and control are as followed, from her left arm comes a gas that can render normal humans unconscious when breathed in, from her right arm comes a gas that can make breathing more difficult, which helps in reducing the effectiveness of breathing styles, from her left leg comes a hallucinogenic gas that can effect her opponents sense of reality, and potentially cause her opponents to fight each other instead, and from her right leg comes an acidic gas that can slowly burn and eat away flesh when it’s been exposed to it for a prolonged amount of time. When she suffers a wound on one of her limbs during the short time before it heals or regenerates, any blood lost can turn into a highly concentrated amount of gas. Yumi also uses a pair of yellow folding Japanese war fans that were created from her own flesh in conjunction with her Blood Demon Art, the fans capable of creating fairly large gusts of wind to help spread and control her gases. Their edges are extremely sharp, serving as a good slashing weapon, and her fans are very durable, being able to parry weapons many times without sustaining much damage. When not in use, she keeps her fans tucked away inside her kimono.
