Has anyone gone to one by them yet? What did you think? I've got mine later today, and I'm so excited to go! (I hope there'll be other adults and not just children so I don't feel too awkward haha)
I've heard stuff about costume contests, face painting, cardboard cutouts, trivia, contests, and more. What was your experience like??

I was so excited to see one on the giant list at one nearby, but I’ve called them twice and they had no idea what I was talking about. I had this really cool idea planned to that would have been absolutely crazy but people would have LOVED it.

I went to two B&N events in NC. One of them was fun and had a lot of people and discussion. The other one was quicker and was really rushed, there weren't as many people. I won the grand prize! Two mini figurines (Ravenpaw and Graystripe) and 1 tote bag. Since the other event had less people everybody got a tote bag. I also bought the graphic novel, so I am satisfied.
Below is an image of the total amount I received at the event.

I went to one in NC and came back a few hours ago! It was super fun. I didn’t win any prizes but I did get to make some cute cat ears and a drawing of my OC.

Nope. There are unfortunately no Barnes and Nobles in Canada.

Wow! You got a ton of stuff! Good for you! I won a tote bag and tattoos as well. Our B&N gave away the Ravenpaw/Graystripe minis separately, rather than as a pair, since we had so many winners. I will say that the trivia questions were a bit misleading. I won't spoil the entire trivia, because that's no fun for anyone, especially those who haven't participated yet. However, there are a few points I want to make. For starters, one question was on the list twice: Who was Firepaw's mentor? The answer should be Bluestar, but the answer key says Tigerclaw the first time and Lionheart the second time. So that was weird. It didn't say Bluestar at all.
I think they should've specified that the questions are directed at the first arc ONLY. Because of this, many people at my event, including myself, were very confused.
Lastly, the one that bugged me the most was who Firepaw's first "warrior" friend was throughout the series. Naturally, one would assume Graystripe, his BEST friend (who was known as Graypaw in the very beginning and wasn't even a warrior yet), or Onewhisker, his closest WARRIOR friend (in spite of the clan differences). Or heck, even maybe Whitestorm since they grew very close over the first arc. But no. The answer is actually Ravenpaw, of all cats. (He isn't considered an official warrior at all during the first arc, so we were all VERY lost with that one.) Overall a great experience that I'd go to again. I had fun!
