Do you think the Warriors series will ever have a rouge as a main arc protagonist? By this I mean an adult rogue joining the clan, like Russetfur or Boulder. I would absolutely love it, personally. I think that the having a main character from the families in ThunderClan, ShadowClan and SkyClan to an extent is a little dull by now, and this would be a way of refreshing the series and the clan that the rogue approaches. I just think it would bring an entirely new perspective.
Anyways, what do you think about this idea? Is it possible?

I'd love this, personally. Maybe even a Rogue whose allegiances stay outside of the clan but ends up involved in their conflicts anyway would be an interesting perspective to see. Will it ever happen? Probably not unfortunately.

I think a rogue protagonist would be fun. That being said, Alderheart was a ROUGE protagonist, and I can’t say I was too impressed, to be honest.

I think the worry is that their arc might be too similar to Rusty's in Into the Wild. Still, there's a way to do it in a nuanced way that feels fresh and new and would also be good for new readers getting into the series since it'd be a new start.

Why would they be worried about that? Also, I think the ability is there to make a arc that is a sort of new twist on the first that would appeal to old and new readers a lot. But I think the series is really too stuck into its generational storytelling at this point, and I would like somewhat of a break from that.

Making a copy of something beloved within the same series is generally viewed as a bad move which comes across like nostalgia baiting.

The right move would be to have the rogue as a character not join the clans but rather be a fully outside perspective. It would be unique and cool.

An outside perspective, especially similar to Violetpaw’s in AvoS, would be really cool.

The idea of a rogue protag who doesn't join the clans in the end is fun but also kind of funny. Like "wow this place is a freak show I don't respect any of your people" vibes in my mind.

Personally I would want a rogue that joins the clans, but leaves by the end of the arc to be a travelling hermit or whatever. Kind of a flipped version of the first arc.

I like the idea of a rouge protagonist since it is something somewhat different than what we have seen before. Also, it would be nice if we get to see a outside perspective on the warrior code and how it has changed a lot. I even like the idea of a rouge that maybe had a negative impression on the clans through either rumors from other loners or rouges who had negative interactions from one of the clan cats or the rouge had one him/herself. Sort of like how one bad seed changing the way the rouge interacts with the whole of the clans because of these rumors or past experience. Maybe the rouge gets tied into clan affairs somehow and his past shapes how he/she deals with the clans and eventually teeters him further into the negative or more toward ambivalence or positive opinions.
