Also ngl I do kinda high key love old cats who were really cool in their prime but the whole clan mostly knows them as the kooky old cats
Like full admit I could write a whole prequel about Pomegranate, she lives in my head rent free
there is a mild temptation to make one cat that’s a grandchild or great grandchild of Sooth who looks up to him a lot

So many questions lol. my plan is that River is already 2 weeks along and finally goes to see Puddleheart to confirm her suspicions after the games, so depending on how long it takes to progress in the rp she'll probs give birth in like 6 weeks rp time also sorry let me actually answer your questions - youre totally free to make up whatever name and personality you want for the kit! but keeping coat colors within the realm of what River and Wind could have would be cool. and even if you had a specific idea of a coat color that doesnt match either of them, we could say that one of their parents possessed that specific pelt/pattern |

so it looks like 5 kit spots are claimed so far and 1 is still open!
if anyone needs some inspo for coat colors, if i put in the right options in the coat calculator this is what their kits could look like: (i also just took liberties such as them both being short haired but carrying long, and them being non-dilute but carriers)
Kittens can be shorthaired or longhaired. Toms can be black, chocolate, blue, or lilac. Mollies can be black, chocolate, blue, or lilac. Kittens can be solid, spotted tabby, mackerel tabby, or classic tabby. Genetically solid reds still display a tabby pattern. Some kittens may be silver/smoke. Some kittens may be colorpoints. Kittens can have under 50% white spotting or none at all.
i also wanna add i know like the bare minimum when it comes to cat genes so i could have input some stuff wrong but 🤷♀️
