Okay so hear me out
We know Thunder wants to kill Puddle but since Puddle is medicine cat and can’t be killed by mortal means, Thunder would need to align himself with a god and or a monster
Now, we know Pomegranate had an apprentice before Puddle who ended up being evil, but he was also a medicine cat and couldn’t be killed, so what if…what if he got turned into a monster and is living in the very depths of the Lost Cave where he can’t get out
And what if
What if that’s who Thunder teams up with later when he spirals

Imagine if they go to the caves and explore a little and Fawn gets a little too curious and starts going deeper and hears this….wailing noise from the depths and Rain’s like “absolutely not, time to go” Bonus it also foreshadows what happens to Fawn |
