Rules could be kinda like this..
1. Follow the forum rules.
2. Respect everybody. Bullying will NOT be tolerated. This should be a fun thing, not a place for arguments.
3. Activity- everybody has lives out of forums, but please try to be active- if you really can not, the max that will be tolerated is one post every two weeks.
4. No godmodding.
5. Try to avoid one-liners, they make responding harder.
6. There is no character limit, though try to keep both the genders and species equal.
7. The password is bubbles.
8. Try your best to match your acts to your species. For example- if your character is a dog, perhaps portray them sniffing around a lot or wagging their tail when excited.

Hmm.. let’s see- I’ll make a mini checklist! •water landmark •tree landmark •training area •dangerous area •holy area (also what if we call it “path of the maple”?) •shelter border •optional: romantic place •optionsl: large open space (maybe a field) to run around bc they’re a clan who’s main thing is running wait. what if we merged the "romantic place" and the "large open space" somehow Edit: so for the merged idea,my brain is thinking: big field with a decently sized lake with an island in the middle of the lake that cats go to through stepping stones and ✨be romantic idk✨ maybe the lake island could have two cherry blossom trees or something for ✨aesthetic idk✨ (don't have a name for this place btw) Edit 2: So had an idea for a training area mixed with tree landmark: "The Mossy Glade is where Springclan train their apprentices, and as the name suggests, the ground of this area is covered in moss, making it great for battle training. About
SpringClan is a clan consisting of more than cats- springclan has dogs, too. Wait, what did you say? It has foxes, too? Though foxes started joining very recently. Will this detail be important? Maybe… read to find out!

It all started from 5 shelter animals- 2 dogs, 3 cats. The dogs were Otter and Night- Otter was a friendly leonberger, though a bit dumb but he was lovely all over. The second one- Night, was much more shy, but contributed a ton with his muscular build.
the 3 cats were named Aspen, Ember and (name).
Aspen was very leaderlike- always staying cool in situations and leading the way. Ember was very brave and cheerful. (Name) is very smart, and apparently healthy, as he is still alive today, 8 years later! They ran away from the shelter together as they were treated horribly. The found a path leading to a giant maple tree, which they took shelter under. Each of them had dreams about the same thing- a bright path, looking like it was made of pure light. They were told by mysterious ghosts it was called “the path of light” and were told that if they will follow a set of rules they will get to go there in the afterlife. Aspen was named as leader of the group, taking the name Aspenpath after the path of light.
the rest took on Emberbloom, (name), Nightgaze and Ottermask.
Territory
SpringClan territory is quite unique- (if you don’t wanna see the lore behind it, skip to leaf emoji)
and has a long, long story to it that is told to tines. It used to be a maple forest, before being cut down to become a man-made pine forest. While some maples grew back, some did not. That’s when humans came in and helped plant back the forest by planting oak trees. Since then, some animals think of humans fondly. (This was before foxes joined the clan)
there are also mossy areas, besides a big, open field with a lake at its edge.
🍃 the territory consists of maple, oak and pine trees. Pine are the main, with oak and maple at a close tie but maple has slightly more trees. It also has an open field and many mossy areas.
landmarks include:
• the mossy glade- The Mossy Glade is where Springclan train their apprentices, and as the name suggests, the ground of this area is covered in moss, making it great for battle training. By the edge of The Mossy Glade, there is a tree with moss covering it, where squirrels and birds often make their homes, called The Mossy Tree, and it being so close to The Mossy Glade makes the training area quite good for prey hunting as well.

• the shining field: The Shining Field is a large field with a lake in the middle. Clan Members often come here to run and burn off any excess energy, and some may go to the island in the middle of the lake, containing two pink-leaved trees (man-planted cherry blossoms), which have been known to be the best place for love confessions and for couples to hang out in.
Camp
The camp is a giant place protected by walls made of ferns and gorse. The first thing you see when entering camp is the giant size of it, accompanied by a path worn by paws that leads to the giant stump in the corner of camp. The adults den is top left to entrance, having 4 dens- one for hunters, a larger one for protectors, one for fighters and a wide one for animals who wanna sleep among their friends who are in a different job, plus young adults (under 20 moons). The apprentices den is right to the adults, being made of ferns. The nursery is a giant bush, well hidden and in the middle right to the entrance. The leader hosts meeting from the giant stump, a large maple stump cut down years ago. It also serves as their den. Left to it is what is presumably a piece of the cut down maple- a giant piece of a maple log with a bit of moss over it. It serves as the elders den. The beta sleeps in a bramble bush right to the giant stump. The medicine den is right to the entrance- it is a large, wide tunnel with a separate rooms for all types of assorted herbs. Left to the entrance is the guide’s den: a soft fern clump. It is also used as the place where the guide helps others. In the middle of the camp is a maple tree which has a big hole carved into it which serves as the prey-pile spot.

Feather gifting - Gifting a cat a feather is considered to be a highly romantic act and carries a bit of ritual with it. It is one of the most important traditions in the clan. It's customary for the cat who recieves the feather to immediately put it on if it was a confession and they accept. Trainees often spend evenings trying to think of a good response and dreaming about the day when they will finally recieve a feather. The more difficult the bird the feather is from is to catch, the higher 'value' the gift is. Recieving an eagle's feather is considered to be a declaration of love that will last forever.
Pelt Decorating - In Springclan, nearly every cat spends considerable time gathering small decorations to place in their fur. These can be flowers, feathers, shells, leaves, twigs, berries, or human trinkets. Edgy apprentices enjoy putting small bones on their pelt. As these decorations have a habit of falling off fairly fast, Springclanners have to constantly replace them with new ones. Helping another cat put on their accessories is usually a sign of trust and deep friendship. (When writing your animal’s appearance, add in the way their pelt is decorated)
Pack hunt - each day at sunhigh the largest cats and strongest dogs and foxes go out to hunt larger prey. Usually, when a hunt is very successful, the rest of the day will be a celebration as it is believed that it is good luck.

Ranks
Leader- cat only role. Leaders receive 7 lives, which they get over 7 days of the week. (SpringClanners know the days of the week because their ancestors had schedules based on them) they make the most important choices and they have the final voice over decisions.
healer- usually a cat and a dog, because each knows their body better than the other's so each tends to their own kind and of course will be quick to help the other if needed. lately there have been suggestions of adding a fox member too.
Beta- dog only role, dog second-in-command to the leader. They have the second say in choices. They have 2 lives.
❌advisor- fox only role for the smartest fox, advises to the leader and beta. They have 2 lives. (once foxes are trusted, meaning nobody in this slot right now.)
deputy- leader's successor. They organize patrols and
hunter- mixed role, hunts for the clan. The strongest, biggest cats and strongest dogs and foxes between them are the ones selected to go on a pack hunt usually.
fighter- mostly cats are in this role, their job is to fend off by themselves so they do not have to rely on dogs.
protector- mostly dogs, little foxes, protects the cats as they are stronger
apprentice- an animal between the moons 6-14. Once they hit 12 moons they are called “late apprentices” and are more respected.
caretaker- all animals who have had tines/expecting ones.
tine- pups and kits below the age of half a year/6 moons.
elder- all eldery animals/animals who can no longer hunt and fend for themselves.
guide- the wisest animal in all the clan, guides animals into the afterlife and supplies a listening ear to animals' troubles and gives advice
taken- shelter animals. Almost all the shelter animals know that if they escape, SpringClan will accept them with open paws.
collared- pets. House cats and dogs, to be exact.
stray- lone animals who do not belong to any clan, pack, or tallfolk.
Feral- aggressive strays. Might harm any animal.
pathwalker- an animal who resides in the path of light territory.
pathfaller- an animal who resides in the grounds of the path of darkness.
Plot
Foxes have been driven away from their homes. The former leader, daypath, was overly kind- and let in a whole different species into the clan. The Rest are finding a hard time to accept them, and the foxes just want to peacefully fit in. Will they manage to gain everybody’s trust? Or will they blow it and possibly even get kicked out?

By the edge of The Mossy Glade, there is a tree with moss covering it, where squirrels and birds often make their homes, called The Mossy Tree, and it being so close to The Mossy Glade makes the training area quite good for prey hunting as well." do you like it? It is mainly something that only experienced warriors go near, as it is in most places a rushing river that could easily carry you away to who knows where. Another reason that only the most epxerienced warriors go near it is because it is also near the shelter, heading into the twolegplace around the shelter. I love the idea but im not good with descriptions ok! so how about: "The Shining Field is a large fields with a lake in the middle. Clan Members often come here to run and burn off any excess energy, and some may go to the island in the middle of the lake, containing two pink-leaved trees, to have talks about [insert romantic stuff here because I am AroAce and have no ideas]." also I woke up today and had a gazillion ideas for afterlife stuff so I will say them here
1: Whether a clan member walks the Path of Light or the Path of Darkness is decided a bit by their actions, but mostly their intentions in those actions. Like imagine we have two clan members. In a battle, the first one sees the second losing a battle against a member of another clan who is known to be ruthless, often causing a cat to later die of injuries. The first clan member decides not to help the second out of spite. The second clan member, knowing what this other clan member does, kills them ut of instinct before it really becomes self-defense, though regretting it immediately after. When going to the afterlife, the first clan member would walk the path of darkness, as they tried to kill the second out of not helping them, while the second would walk the path of light, since they did not kill that other clan's member out of spite.
2: When cats must walk the Path of Light or the Path of Darkness, there are two animals, one for the Path of Light, one for the Path of Darkness. When given the choice of which path to walk, there is no distincion between the paths apart from the animals, and they will use ✨afterlife magic idk✨ to get the dead cat to walk the path that they must.
2.5: The animals for the two paths are animals not found in the clan territories as a whole. The reason for this is because the dead caln members won't just see one of the Path-Animals is a wolf or something and go "Wolf bad. Wolf is Path of Darkness" and mess everything up. I have an idea for the Animal of Light, a Hummingbird, but I would like some ideas for the Animal of Darkness.
3: The clans do not understand how the afterlives work and how it's decided whether a clan member walks the Path of Light or the Path of Darkness. The alive clans don't know that the Path they walk is chosen by intentions to their actions, just thinking it's chosen by ONLY the actions, and the dead clan members basically think the same because the ones who DO understand how the afterlives work just don't tell anyone.
