This poll was recently posted on the official Warriors website and I wanted to share it on here for debate/discussion purposes as per usual.
Personally, I'm very much biased in favor of Firestar's style of leadership and still think he was one of the best leaders the Clans have ever seen. So my vote went to the first option. I think wanting to maintain peace and avoid needless battles as much as possible is a great way to lead and a good leadership quality to have.

I think Firestar's leadership has been a prosperous time for ThunderClan, because he cared for his warriors so much that he was afraid to lose them. It was good for him to avoid battles, because he did lead his Clan in the necessary ones, unlike Morningstar, who was too compassionate to be in a leading position. In my opinion, Firestar is best described by the first option, because he is both caring and brave.

It was probably the best for ThunderClan/all the Clans (at times) to have Firestar tell them that peace is good and they shouldn't fight. That's the answer to the question, so yeah I chose the first option, buuutt I wish there were more fights. Sometimes I wish there was more action, they are *warrior* cats, go on, do some more fighting, I don't care about peace. It can be really boring, forced and nosy coming from firestar just so there's no battle.

Firestar was a perfect blend of trying to avoid unnecessary conflict but acknowledging when push comes to shove. Wouldn't be too farfetched to say that he was Thunderclan's golden age.

I think his peace-seeking leadership style was very brave in of itself, and smart. His warriors were less at risk of dying in pointless, unnecessary battles and he didn't care what anyone thought of him. Although while I believe that wholeheartedly, sometimes he took it a bit too far. But I mostly understand why he was like that. He was a smart man.
