What warrior cats moments made you cry? Personally Graystripe’s death made me tear up, but the only real moment that truly made me cry was the end of Crookedstars Promise when Crookedstar was screaming at Mapleshade and everyone in camp was so worried about him.

Bluestar’s death, and the heartbreak of losing her kits always makes me cry. Just thinking about it makes me tear up, because all I can think is how lonely she must’ve felt. She lost everyone she loved and trusted, telling herself it was worth it for the safety and future of ThunderClan, only to be betrayed so badly it completely broke her. She spent the rest of her life wanting to reconnect with her kits, but they hated her and tried to murder her. It isn’t until the last seconds of her life that they forgive her. The line in SH about Bluestar and Mosskit finally being the family they never got to in life made me cry so much.

The end of Crookedstar's Promise where Willowbreeze and two of their daughters die, got me good the first time reading it. I also got emotional when Crookedstar finally was able to see Silverkit and talk to her. That whole book made me emotional though ngl lol.
I also got emotional reading Gray Wing's death the first time. And when Yellowfang died. Firestar's death also got me good when I first read it.

I never cried while reading warriors but the ones that would make me cry is Mosskit's death in Bluestar's Prophecy. It was sad hearing Bluefur trying to wake them up,and hearing Snowfur talking to Bluefur (forgot what Snowfur actually said). Another one is Crookedstar's Promise, Willowbreeze and her two kits dying.

I surprisingly don't think I actually bawled hard reading but the one scene that teared me up the most (and this is oddly specific) was from the novella Cloudstar's Journey.
There was an elderly cat named Petalfall who suffered from seizures later in life which caused her to retire from being SkyClan's deputy. Cloudstar had returned from the Gathering and the medicine cat (Quailheart? I think?) said she was in his den. Inside, Petalfall had another seizure. It was described so horrifically accurate to a ferret I had who had convulsions before they died. I had to stop reading for a bit.
Like others, Willowbreeze's death impacted me a lot too. It's one of the main reasons Crookedstar's Promise is my favorite warriors book and it's just so compelling to read. You can feel his devastation and just AUGH- my heart.

I didn't really cry hard, but one single tear fell out of my eyes when hollyleaf went in my tunnel. I thought she died oh and basically all of Crookedstar's Promise was sad, and I still hate rainflower for that

Only time I cried was when I was reading Rainflower's terrible treatment of Crookedstar during his kithood. Not only her treatment of him, but Riverclan's treatment of him as well, especially Hailstar effectively enabling Rainflower's nonsense.

Willowbreeze's death and Bristlefrost's.
Also, the scene at the end of TAQ when Twigkit and Violetkit were separated just got me.

I think the only thing to make me actually cry, as in beyond tearing up, was Needletail's death because I was super attached to her as a character at the time.
I still like her but I don't know if I'd cry over her nowadays... I don't really cry over media often so it's always been this weird little outlier.

Moonflower’s death. It hit close to home because my mom had cancer ans I’ve always for some reason been really scared that my relatives die. Also that it happened during a massive attack and Bluepaw couldn’t go to her mother because she was so far, was horrible. Like she was forced to stay put when her mother was lying dead in the enemy’s camp.

Bristlefrost's death, while it didn't make me cry, genuinely stunned me. For something like that to happen to main protag and it to be be so final, with no chance of her reappearing in StarClan..... is pretty hardcore

I cried a lot at the books when I was a kid, but when I was getting back into them, I wasn't expecting them to make me cry as an adult. Bristlefrost's death tore me apart, though, I cried a lot and I was kind of sad about it for the next couple of days, lol. I really loved her character.
