backstory | jackalleap was born in the first litter belonging to antblaze, his mother being his father's first lover. about a moon before he was meant to become an apprentice, his mother found out antblaze had another lover when the other female confessed to her that she was pregnant. his mother didn't blame her friend for her lover's faithlessness and even helped her friend throughout her pregnancy. jackalpaw was quiet close to his younger siblings. and then antblaze's third litter was born. and then another litter , and another, and another. it seemed that the pregnancy containing honeysucklepaw had been the driving force to the falling out between all of the mothers, which led to the tension between all the mothers and their kittens. it seemed none of them no longer blamed antblaze for his faithlessness, but each other for falling for him.
despite the high levels of tension, jackalleap did his best to keep a semi-close relationship with all of his half-siblings, even if his mother frowned upon it. it was his best friend, asterbreeze who pushed him in the right direction of deciding to keep a relationship with all of his siblings, and he would be forever thankful for that. his friendship with asterbreeze slowly morphed into more, and after many long talks about where their relationship was headed, they decided to settle down as mates, with jackalleap promising to be nothing like his father. the two of them had been mates for many moons and were just expecting their first litter when asterbreeze was slaughtered by a rogue cat inside moonclan's territory.

backstory | cicadasong was born to beetlemist and a warrior father, raised alongside her two sisters pounceflower and palecloud. beetlemist was a strict mother, mostly due to the fact that it took her nearly her whole life to have a single litter of kittens. beetlemist rarely let the three kittens out of her sight and she raised them all to be respectable and good, never stepping a paw out of line. of course not all of her kittens listen.
cicadapaw's younger littermate, pouncepaw was troublesome and was always getting on their mother's nerves. she rarely listened to beetlemist and tried to do the exact opposite. cicadapaw was tasked with trying to talk sense into her sister by beetlemist, but the apprentice failed. no matter what she said to pouncepaw, nothing could get to her. not even palepaw could find words that would get to pouncepaw. it seemed that her whole apprenticeship was revolving around her sister until yet another scandal rocked her family's life.
cicadapaw's father was sneaking away late at night to meet with a fellow warrior. cicadapaw confronted her father, telling him to break things off with her and shut down the rumors that were circulating the clan. her mother was already under enough stress raising three daughter practically alone, she didn’t need to hear that her mate was cheating on her through the clan’s rumor mill. out of respect for his daughter, her father broke things off with the warrior.
pouncepaw continued to be a problem for her family until she was a warrior. pounceflower became pregnant with a litter of kits. beetlemist made sure to give pounceflower an earful when she found out. when the kittens were born, pounceflower abandoned them, saying she wanted nothing to do with them. the burden of raising their sister’s kits fell to palecloud and cicadasong. their father wasn’t part of the kittens life for the first four moons until cicadasong found out she was pregnant just as she was giving birth.
during the time she was trying to get to her troublesome sister, cicadasong was seeing a tom named heronsnow. the two warriors were set up together by beetlemist, who thought their union would be the best thing for their family and was positive that the two of them were true mates. despite not feeling emotionally attached to the other warrior, cicadasong agreed to be mates with him for the sake of her mother. she didn’t know that she was pregnant until she went into an early labor due to the stress of helping raise her sister’s kits. cicadasong gave birth to three kittens including quailpaw and primrosekit.
pounceflower’s unfortunate demise came not long after cicadasong gave birth to her kittens. once again the warrior found herself pregnant, only this time neither she nor the kittens survived the birthing process. despite the absolute horror that pounceflower was, her mother, father, and sisters all grieved for her after her death. the blow was even harder for cicadasong when her daughter, primrosekit, passed away.
not long after, cicadasong witnessed her father leave her mother for a younger warrior and start a whole new family. despite said new family, her father was still in the life of his two surviving daughters and his grandchildren. palecloud only managed to meet her new siblings, including cherrybreeze, once before she passed away from blackcough. beetlemist fell into a heavy depressions; dealing with the death of two of her kits, one grandchild, and the loss of her mate was simply too much for the aging molly. beetlemist ended up starving herself to death.

A white she cat with a gray tail, legs, ears and face. She has striking blue eyes. She also has a reddish nose and pink on the inside ears.
Echowind is a really cheerful cat. She’s naturally happy and energetic, which makes her pleasant to be around. She can be quite chattery, which some like, but some do not have enough patience for her. She really likes collecting shelves, but it’s at the level of hoarding, which she keeps in a spot which could be used for better things. Her clan mates aren’t too pleased with that.
