I’d say unjustified. They were just lucky that the new AI wasn’t just another Ultron.

Also sorry for being slightly off topic but 🍄🎶✨Brambleheart✨🎶🍄 have you watched any of the non D+ MCU shows? Agents of SHIELD was really good imo and I was wondering if the others are worth the watch.

In Ant Man Hank Pym had resigned from working at SHIELD due to his colleague, Howard Stark, trying to replicate Pym Particles, which Hank thinks is unethical. Pym particles cause an object to change size and can cause mass destruction if misused. Hank tries to suppress Stark's work, but in 2015, it is pirated by Darren Cross when he makes his Yellowjacket suit. Hank worries about Cross, because he was Cross' mentor, and knows that Cross will use the suit unethically, seeing how the technology had been stolen. To prevent Cross from causing any damage, Hank decides to find somebody to become his apprentice, and the new Ant Man. Hank thinks that a man named Scott Lang would be a good choice. At this time, Scott Lang is an ex-con who is trying to rebuild his life for his daughter, and doesn't want to do any more crime. Hank, knowing this, convinces Scott's friend, Luis, another ex-con, to get Scott to do a test. Scott agrees, and puts his life at risk once more to successfully steal Hank's Ant Man suit. Scott passes the test, and becomes the new Ant Man. Was Hank justified in manipulating Scott to steal his suit for a test?

In Doctor Strange, Stephen Strange recently had his first battle as a sorcerer in the New York Sanctum. He had joined the ranks of the Masters of the Mystic arts in hopes of healing his severely damaged hands from a car crash, and thus restoring his career as a successful neurosurgeon. Despite not practicing medicine at this time, Stephen still lived by the Hippocratic Oath of not harming or killing people. In this battle, he and his Cloak killed an enemy Zealot out of self defence.

Upon returning to the aftermath after recovering from a stab wound, Stephen mat his mentor, Mordo, and leader/Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One. Both congratulated him on defending the Sanctum, and he was promoted to the Sanctum Master. Stephen refused the promotion, saying that his job was to save lives, not end them, and he had gotten the position by killing a man. Mordo accused Stephen of being a coward, to which Stephen reveals a revelation that the Ancient One had been using the same dark powers of the Zealots to artificially extend her life by centuries. This was later proven to be true, although not at this moment. Mordo further accused Stephen of being self centered, arrogant, and lacking a spine. Was Stephen justified in (1) denying the promotion or (2) accusing the Ancient One of hypocracy?

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, a Celestial being named Ego houses his long lost son, Peter Quill, along with his fellow Guardians, Drax and Gamora. While Ego bonds with Quill and shows him how to harness Celestial powers, Gamora is suspicious of the planet, and Drax bonds with Ego's assistant and daughter, Mantis. Mantis knows a dark truth about Ego- that he has had many children with women across the galaxy, and that he killed every child that didn't inherit his Celestial gene. No child has had the gene until Quill, and Ego wishes to use Quill as a battery to help him spread his planet across the universe. However, Mantis is unaware of social cues due to her isolation, and is anxious to reveal her secret in case she and her new friends get into trouble. Gamora suspects Mantis is hiding something, but Mantis chooses to keep the secret until the last minute, where she explains the mass graves on the planet right as Ego has Quill exactly where he needed to be. By revealing the secret, Mantis was able to assist the Guardians in defeating and killing Ego, however, the deadly battle would have been minimized if she had revealed it earlier. Was Mantis justified in keeping Ego's dark truth a secret from her new friends and brother?
