And he made sure to tell Fog that even though Buck was going to be a medicine cat, he was still going to be best friends with Fog and always make time to come and see him

My suggestion for Aquatail about birth order: have Possum be one of the first 3 to up the stakes and add drama. That way the medicine cat has to worry about a stillbirth while more kits are coming.

So, uh, with Aqua’s blessing, let’s go ahead and say that Fogpaw and Pheasantpaw had a young mom (maybe 14-16 moonsish) who couldn’t handle the stress of raising kits so she handed them off to another queen - if anyone wants to claim that cat they can, otherwise nbd. Maybe Fog and Pheasant were raised by one of the queens who was affected by the curse? She lost her bio kits but got two adopted ones instead?

I have some more ideas for their mom. Just not sure how active I’ll be with her. I like the idea that she worries about Pheasant repeating her mistake! XD

I’ll post my notes about her later. Her tentative name is Cloverpatch.
