Oakstreak and Paintedmask were discussing how Paintedmask could ascend to leader. Oakstreak suggested some ideas before recieving a vision from his long lost love to stop him and recently returned from throwing deathberries off of a cliff in order to do her bidding

of course! her name is goldtalon(yes i wanted her to have an eagle themed name)
she was really good friends with sorrel and jumping
the birth was extremely difficult and the first two kits were too weak, and eagles birth was rough as he got stuck. the smallest and only surviving kit, gold named him eagle. but, her health deteriorated and she died when he was around 4-5 moons old
as a person, she was outspoken and rash but very gentle around eaglekit(i feel like thatโs why he took interested in briar because she reminds him of gold)

Did you have it in mind that she was a surrogate or was it a situation where when she died, Sorrel and Jumping took over raising Eagle? Assuming his biological dad was out of the picture if not going surrogate route? |
