After the reveal for more information regarding the upcoming arc on bookstore sites, we have a lot to look forward to before the official website reveals more.
So, what are we thinking? Any plotlines you expect to see, POV's/main focus you're hoping to get, even concepts you want to see the Erin's try out?
I'm personally excited to see the names of the two cats the writing contest winners got to name. While I'm still excited for ASC's conclusion, there's so much to look forward to in a new arc.

Windclan focus and evil medicine cat top my list. Everything else is more character related and wouldn’t carry an entire arc.

I’m hoping for a more grounded story. I don’t like StarClan. They’re too messy and inconsistent, and I think the books would be better off without them sticking their nose into everything adding all this mess. They create more problems than they solve. The first series and DOTC are the best arcs imo because StarClan is barely present. I’d like to see more of that. Just real, physical problems being solved by the cats themselves

Time skip. Just I'm a bit sick and tired of the Erins clinging to certain characters, the first three arc cats need to be wiped out by now.

New theory: What if the story is about how the clans reacted to skyclan leaving? It might fill in the gap between CJ and MV, and it might explain how the clans pretty much don’t talk about Skyclan only seven years after they left.

Am I the only one who actually wouldn't mind a Starclan POV? We're not getting that obviously but think of all the interesting character interactions!

Everyone in the first two arcs dead. Or at the very least cats like Mousewhisker as an elder.
I’m fine with the third arc characters still around since there isn’t too many of them in actuality. (A lot of them were killed in timeskips like Foxleap or killed recently like Rosepetal.)
So I’m fine with them sticking around to be senior warriors.

If anything changes in SkyClan, I think it would be fun for them to bring back daylight warriors
But other than and more than that- I’m hoping for interesting protagonists and villains and a new and creative story.

WindClan, please. Also, it'd be cool if the 9th arc was a DotC sequel. And yeah, ofc, all the characters born before PoT died and cats born in PoT are elders (and maybe OotS too?). ALSO PLEASE RETIRE TAWNYPELT PLEASE.

WindClan! Including some tunnel exploration.
But if the arc is SkyClan-focused, it could be nice to see Barley and Bellaleaf reunite one last time, and for him to meet Wrenflight. Maybe Barley runs into some of the lost SkyClan cats and takes his final journey with them to the lake territories. Or, alternatively, a SkyClan patrol gets sent on a journey that crosses paths with Barley. They could run into lost SkyClan cats along the way, or even a villain with SkyClan history like Sol.
For protagonists, I would honestly love a Wrenflight POV. I always thought her being the only surviving kit in her litter and Barley’s kin could make for an interesting story. But Ridgekit and Duskkit are both more likely candidates, esp since they’re Leafstar’s grandkits and Hawkwing’s niece and nephew. I could see one of them becoming Tree’s apprentice, and the role of mediator being more defined following Tree’s successful mediation between RiverClan and ShadowClan in ASC.

WindClan POV is long overdue.
Also hoping for a SkyClan POV! SkyClan is lacking in characterization for most cats post Hawkwing’s Journey, given the lack of focus bg cats had in TBC despite having Rootspring as a protagonist, so it would be nice to expand on them in a similar way ShadowClan cats have been in ASC.
And if there’s a SkyClan POV, obviously I’d need any Sagenose or Fidgetflake relevance lol. PLEASE let Birdwing and Waspwhisker come back, that’s the biggest hanging thread I want resolved.
Hoping that the arc 1 cat is Stormfur or Barley and not someone already at the lake.
If the arc 1 cat is not a POV I’d think we’d have another ThunderClan cat, though I’m hoping they spice it up a bit and give the spot to a ShadowClan or RiverClan cat. I’m leaning more towards ShadowClan because of the already established characters there, but RiverClan is kinda underdeveloped with the younger cats and I’d like to see how post-ASC RiverClan is. I mostly want a ThunderClan POV only because I’m attached to NightSun now, but I won’t hold out hope that the POV won’t go to them.
Leafstar will probably die and I’ll be sad. Yay.
