Honestly, I’d be down for an arc between DoTC and TPB. This can be as early as after Shadowstar and Skystar die (this gives room for Gray Wing’s or even Riverstar’s kits to have a POV), to as late as field guide content. If we can learn about the Dark Forest cats from TBC, that’s a bonus.

I feel like the fandom has been asking for arc that takes place chronologically between DOTC and TPB with a fresh cast of characters for the last three arcs, but we just keep getting more of the modern cats. I wonder if DOTC didn't sell well or something and that's why they're hesitant to do that.

It's a shame, because I think it was a great lore venture that I wouldn't mind seeing again, especially since novellas got the boot and SE's are struggling recently.

Lol just copy-and-pasting my info dump from a previous thread.
I would like it if Sol got one last hurrah. Though it may be a controversial opinion I really like Sol and I want him to have an on-screen death. So if it turns out Sol manipulated rogues and kittypets to hate the clans and he sent them in to spy on them I would love that.
I could see it being an Ashfur-type situation. First prey disappears and cats don't know why. Herbs are also mysteriously disappearing. Then in the big act of the first book, one cat from each clan is found dead. In the second book, the protagonists starts investigating and finds the former kittypets and rogues suspicious. At the end of book 2, the spies dump the protag into the river sweeping him away. Book 3 can be the protag travelling back to the clans and at the end revealing the spies for who they are. In book 4 the clans turn against the spies. Then enter Sol. Then we have books 4, 5, and 6 with Sol as a villain. Then finally in book 6 Sol is killed and the spies disband. I always felt like Sol needed to be a villain for a full arc for people to start liking him.

Sol is one of my fave villains and he can't just disappear like that!

an idea i would love is : an arc about the ancients cat, because even if we know that the Tribe comes from the Lake, its only one of the 3 (i think) tribes that lived beside the lake, so what did the other became ? How did they use the Moonpool, since they didn't know Starclan and all when they followed the Sun Trail to the forest ? I think it will never happen, probably because no one really care about them but i'm so curious !

At this point I honestly don't even know what they're going to do. I'm pretty sure the editing team will resort to AI in the future for ideas and writing.

Protagonist who becomes the leader corruption arc. I want a cat who starts out a good guy but descents into cruelty. I'm not talking about no Bluestar or Clear Sky situations, I want a PoV character in a main series arc who starts out good & dies a villain.
I also want an evil Firestar descendant. If a pure hearted lady like Brindleface can produce a creature like Ashfur, Firestar's lineage should be allowed to produce at least 1 rotten egg too.

An arc with something to do with LionClan TigerClan and LeopardClan would be cool especially if the theory about IvyPool's Heart is true. Also, an arc where something kills all the background characters in Thunderclan would be ideal.
