Tussock, it's a type of grass and also a type of moth, I think it's been mentioned a few times. Peat, it's a type of moss, they used the term 'peat scent' in Tallstar's Revenge, so they know what it is. Spindle, it's a type of plant. I'm not sure which of these are various to the UK or not, but a lot of tree names and flower names are being sat on such as: Magnolia, Marigold, Spruce, Sequoia, Sycamore, Hawthorn, Hemlock, Elm, Aster, Privet, Crocus, Begonia, Sap, etc

Unpopular opinion I guess, but I am not a fan of making prefixes out of compound words. It’s just too much of a mouth-full, imo. Which rules out a lot of plants.

My fav flower that isn't used is Chicory- it's so cute!! As is Lavender- long flowers are hard but chickweed- primrose- chamomile- and periwinkle- are great (if you can find good suffixes for them)
Also a fan of Tamarack- Larch- Chive- Plum- Clangen made me a fan of Chervil- I've used Sumac- once and that was fun
I've used Hibiscus- and Tamarind- for tropical Clans before and Jacaranda- Aloe- Yukka- Chaya- and Cassia- for a clan set in the Mexican dry rainforest which was fun to research haha
I've been trying to find a good use for Sassafras- but like, it's hard :(

Herb- There's a lot of cats named after herbs, so why not have just "herb" as a suffix? Lilac Aronia- The species name for chokeberries. I just really like this one. Peach- We have plum. Why not peach? Also, it's cute. Stump Sprout Sap Pumpkin- I really like this one. It sounds like a name a kittypet would have. Borage- As I said before, lots of cats are named after herbs, and borage has been used a lot in the series, so I'm surprised it hasn't been used as a name yet. Chervil- Same as above. Spruce Peat- It's been mentioned many times in the books. Also it's not really a plant, but I'm counting it anyway since it's made mostly of decayed plants. Pepper- Can refer to both the spice black pepper and hot peppers. Aloe Cress Burr- Was only ever used as a suffix once. Pad- As in short for lilypad. Also the same thing as burr applies here. Dicentra- The bleeding heart plant. I just think bleeding hearts are really beautiful, and I think it would fit a cat with heart patterns. Basil Radish- There aren't many vegetables used as names. Mushroom- I also really would like to see this one be used in the books. Dock- Same as borage and chervil. Pyrophyte- Pyrophyte's are plants that can resist fire. It's a bit long, but I still think it's really cool. Maqui- An type of berry. Rasp- Short for raspberrry. Boysen- Short for boysenberry. Cran- Short for cranberry. Laurel Caraway
And for ones that have been used before but I would like to see appear more, (most of theese were used for dead/family tree kits.)
- Tulip - Lichen (I really really want this to be used more.) - Juniper - Elder - Mistle (I assume this one is referring to mistletoe.) - Marigold - Chestnut - Tansy - Dandelion - Lavender (I really want to see this one be used too...) - Chive - Yew (That's literally being named after deathberries!) - Bluebell - Larch - Seed

I know it’s probably not a wild tree, but I always liked Ficus for someone. It’s from a kitten from a tree themed litter a classmate fostered.

I've got more! Lotus Cypress: The character this was used for was retconned out of canon and I'd love to see it be used again. Hedge Orchid Bush: Only has been used as a suffix. Elm Root: I want to see this one used more, and it's tree related as well. Currant Blackberry: It's a bit long, but I'd love to see more berry related names. Bane: Short for baneberry. Sumac Walnut Mastic: Can refer both to the tree and the resin it produces. Broom We also got Branchkit in the new book, so that's actually a new tree-related name.

Some of the widly used herbs like burdock or thyme have never been used as prefix. Always wondered why the authors wouldn’t use them.

I found a few prefexies (some are used, but it would be nice for them to appere more) which are the following: Nutmeg, Peanut, Parsely, Almond, cotton, jade (Jade-tree) Cress (as in the plant, but it could be short for cressant) Fern, Lupin, Olive, Pear, Sage, and finally Rose. Some warrior names that would be plants as are, WaterLily, MilkWeed, MossWood, NightShade for an edgy boi, RedWood,
