How would you define "being outdoors" for the sake of this poll? Like actually spending intentional time outside, or does going from my office to my car on the drive home count as being "outside"?

Are we qualifying being outdoors as in leaving the house at all or as actually just being outside and existing there ra other than going somewhere else or taking out trash/gatting mail/etc.
Cause if even just leaving to run a quick errand counts, multiple times a week.
If it doesn't uhh.... i havent really been outside since 2020 because i dont want to leave my house and its concrete and astroturf lawn city out there so if someone tells me to touch grass i gotta ask "what grass?"

I’d say just being outside the house or another building at all, not counting being at a store or in a car or vehicle, etc. I would count the time it takes to walk from work to the car depending on how far your work is from where you park. Taking out trash, getting mail, walking a pet, taking a walk, going camping, etc. would all count as being outside in my terms.

I was taking daily walks but then i just stopped because i've been in way too much pain to lately so i haven't really been outside aside from inside a car because we went to ohio and back.
It sucks because i'm starting to feel a little bit cabin fevery over here but I can't do much about it.
I don't leave aside from errands and I don't like that

Multiple times a day now that it's getting warmer and my dad's letting the chickens go outside. I have to stay outside to make sure the eagle hanging around the yard doesn't take one of them.

On average, I go outside 4-5 times a year. Events include birthdays, and appointments such as trips to the dentist and optometrist. While it is beautiful outside, especially where I live, I just don't like people. It's hard to get immersed in a scenic route when joggers and their dogs or cyclists are rushing by every minute or two.
Is it just me who can't get immersed at all in the wilderness when travelling along an official trail? It feels too "clean" or "artificial" for my like, like if people called a field with freshly mowed grass and perfectly placed, identical looking trees "natural".
Midway edit: Seldom trips to the post office can be included.

It depends on the season. I avoid going outside as much as possible in the winter but in the summer/fall I love fishing, camping, hunting, and going on walks.

I leave my house like once in a couple of weeks to go grocery shopping, but I go outside my house, but stay on my property multiple times a day
