Talonstar // 97 Moons // he/him
A lithe grey-and-blue classic torbie tom with amber eyes. He has broad grey wings with sky blue undersides and his front legs are scaled and tipped with an eagle's talons. Talonstar is just as comfortable in the sky as on land and it was his flight that earned this loyal tom his place as leader of ShineClan, able to fly across the land quickly when needed.

Appearance: Talonstar is a tall tomcat, but thin-boned and light: he has to be, in order to fly. His broad wings are several body-lengths across and he needs space to take off, but once he's in the air his wings are extremely strong and he can fly far and fast, though he lacks agility and cannot fly between the trees like some winged cats can. Talonstar's fur is mostly grey: dark and light, a mottling of colors that camouflages his shape, broken by white dapples like clouds. Overtop are solid, sky blue tabby markings: swirling on his sides in a classic tabby pattern, flowing down his legs into typical stripes, banding his tail in rings and framing his face and neck in curling shapes. The undersides of his wings are pure blue--along with his white stomach and neck, it makes it hard to see him when he's flying in the sky. Along with his wings, he has another bird-like mutation: his front legs are furred just past the elbow before turning into silvery scales and black eagle's talons. They are very large, at least not compared to the rest of him, and don't hinder his movement on the ground, though it takes him more effort to stalk and sneak around than a cat with normal paws. They are wickedly sharp, however, and with the semi-opposable hind talon, allow him to climb trees and hold onto branches with ease.
Personality: Loyalty and optimism drive Talonstar. He grew up with love and kindness and though his position as ShineClan's leader has forced him to confront many horrible things, he's never lost that spark that makes him want to spread his good fortune to others. He truly believes everyone can work together to find happiness and that good intentions are all it takes to make a difference. Some cats find him a little over the top and sappy--and he totally can be, he's a helpless romantic and loves a dramatic entrance--but he always means well. Talonstar doesn't take failure well, especially his own shortcomings. He is a cat that lives by "kill it with kindness" and will smother cats he doesn't like with love. Honestly, the more complements Talonstar gives, the less he probably likes you. As a leader, he's been forced to take a bit of a harsher stance and views protecting ShineClan like a mother protects her kits: one can't risk a shadow getting into the nursery, lest it turn into a snake.
Backstory (if any): Once a FlameClan warrior, Talonstar joined ShineClan as an young warrior. For a long time, he stayed in FlameClan, considering it his home and only leaving its borders when assigned ShineClan Guild missions. After both of his parents died, Talonstar left FlameClan to stay in ShineClan's Guild Hall, where he dove head-first into as many missions as he could and rose quickly in the ranks.
Goal or motivation: Talonstar is constantly seeking to expand ShineClan's influence. He's staunchly loyal to ShineClan, but even more so to their Code--he believes in following the spirit of a rule rather than by the letter, and so is very strict towards cats that try and twist the words to their own ends, while being lenient on cats that break the rules if it was for a good cause.
Relationships: Open to kits, a best friend, and a rival!

Citrine // 11 Moons // she/her
A curly-furred golden molly with pale orange markings and blue eyes.

Clan Rank: Apprentice
Appearance: Citrine has long, curly fur that looks less like puffy clouds and more like an ill-kept thornbrush. Her fur is golden, a bright color that sometimes seems to have its own light. Peach colored stripes frame her shoulders and run down the fronts of her legs, making squared spirals at the ends. Another stripe brackets her hind legs, twisting around her tail in a spiral. Her stomach and chest are white, and white freckles her cheeks beneath her eyes. Her eyes are bright blue, with lighter pupils. Her tapetum lucidum flash golden in the moonlight and she has very good night vision.
Personality: A little skittish at first, Citrine is a young cat that only had herself to rely on growing up. Now as nearly an adult, she's been thrown into a space with more cats than she's ever seen before and she's struggling to keep up. While she finds it hard to truly trust others, she's desperate to fit in and be noticed. She's nervous, but she will keep putting herself out there as she's scared of being alone.
Backstory (if any): Once a loner from the south, she fled north to ShineClan when KestrelClan expanded into her territory. She currently resides with LeafClan.
Goal or motivation: Citrine only recently came to ShineClan and is desperate to make friends and fit in with this new group. She's terrified of having to live on her own and will do anything to attach herself to others.
Relationships: she needs a best friend! Maybe a crush?
Other: grey-aromantic asexual, but she doesn't know any of that yet. She's ascribing platonic feelings as romantic ones, because she doesn't really understand that she doesn't feel romantic attraction the way most others talk about it.

Ravensun // 19 Moons // He/they
A black tom with pale yellow and indigo markings. He has large, yellow eyes.

Clan Rank: Warrior
Appearance: Ravensun's fur is mostly black, but he has pale yellow sunbursts on the sides of his neck and yellow speckles on his ears. Dark, rich indigo makes a stripe down his spine and rings his tail, fading into his pelt down his flanks. His paw-pads are pale yellow, as is his nose. His eyes are also yellow: a brighter, bolder color. He's a rather small cat.
Personality: Ravensun is defined by his curious nature, and holds the pursuit of knowledge in the highest esteem. He can't comprehend not knowing something, and long held mysteries are irresistible puzzles for him to solve. They're clever, though they need time to think and put things together. He is not very good at talking to others, and had to take double the time with diplomacy, knowing he'd be travelling to the far corners of ShineClan's influence in his search. He's alright if he can prepare beforehand, but unknown variables easily blindside him. He is so comfortable in his own knowledge, he can be shocked or broken if he realizes he missed something obvious or learned something incorrectly.
Backstory (if any): Born and raised in ShineClan.
Goal or motivation: A young warrior with a burning curiosity, he's driven to uncover some of the land's deepest magical secrets. Currently on a self-imposed mission in ValleyClan, near the Palace Cats and their castle, trying to figure out who or what enchanted the Guild Hall to remain untouched by time.
Relationships: open to siblings, crushes, and friends

Ichorblaze // 41 Moons // She/her
A black molly with pink and lime green markings. She has a pair of horns in front of her ears.


Clan Rank: Warrior
Appearance: Her black fur has soft pink dapples on her left side, mirrored by lime green dapples on her right. Her eyes are also pink and green, but on opposite sides to her fur patterns. Her horns are short, sharp, and also pink/lime matching her eyes.
Personality: Ichorblaze is, honestly, a complete mess. She's a great fighter with a sharp tongue, headstrong and rushing into everything. She's not one to think before she acts and trusts her instincts implicitly. She doesn't really respect a cat until she's fought with them or against them. Generally solves problems physically, or with threats. She doesn't care about the methods, only results. She gives shockingly good relationship advice, despite never being able to hold a relationship herself.
Backstory (if any): Born in PollenClan, but moved to ShineClan as an apprentice for better training opportunities. After training, she was posted in GravelClan and while she doesn't think of it as her Clan, she has some loyalty to it.
Goal or motivation: Hunting DarkClan members in her spare time, getting clout in ShineClan so she'll be able to access more closely guarded information about them.
Relationships: open to all family, friends, enemies, go wild. Give her any relations you want.

HONEYCREEPER // 46 MOONS // SHE/HER

Honeycreeper is a golden brown, curly furred marble tabby she-cat with coral colored eyes. She has a rather large build compared to most ShineClan cats, with broad, sturdy shoulders and powerful legs. Her fur, however is silky and shines when caught in the light.

Clan rank: Mediator

Appearance: Honeycreeper has a stocky and well-muscled build in spite of her delicate nature. The silky fur that composes her pelt has a wispy quality near the tips of her curls. This is especially apparent in the tufts of her ears and her tail that bushes out at the end. Her eyes have a dreamlike quality to them, with long, fluttering eyelashes that sparkle with dewdrops, no matter the season. Faint tabby markings decorate her face, and a striped pattern can be seen swirling around her body. She has a light cream chin and paws. As for accessories, she wears a wreath decorated with all sorts of flowers, specifically hibiscus, orchids, and honeysuckle.

Backstory: Honeycreeper has a rather tumultuous childhood to say the least. She was found as an orphaned kitten and taken in by the Tribe of Clouds and Rivers. During her first few moons, the Stormcats invaded the tribe’s campgrounds constantly, looking for kits to steal. The bickering came to a sudden stop when a massive hurricane separated the two groups, drifting little Honeykit away from them both. Afterwards, she became lost and wandered aimlessly, looking for her lost tribe. This is where she bumped into Heliac, a large bear that offered to take care of her. Honeykit was curious as to how a bear spoke the language of felines, and thus followed the bear to their cave. Through the moons, Honeykit and Heliac hunted and trained together, She took the suffix “-creeper” in honor of her impressive stalking skills. As leaf-bare approached, Honeycreeper helped stock supplies for Heliac before she had to hibernate. The bear suggested that Honeycreeper should enlist in ShineClan since they seemed to have a less strict hierarchy and missions could be completed whenever they desired. The blonde tabby accepted and has since picked up the role as clan mediator. Each year during greenleaf she checks up on mother and spends time with her just as she had all those moons before.

Personality: Honeycreeper has an inquisitive yet stubborn streak running through her fur. Because of growing up between two rival tribes, Honeycreeper works best in finding compromise between two opposing groups. She always takes time to gather multiple accounts to sound as least biased as she can. Her time as a mediator has molded Honeycreeper into an excellent negotiator. The same can't be said on her front, however. Whenever her ideas are challenged, she often puts cats in their place by fixing them with a stern glare. If Heliac has taught her anything, it's to always stand your ground. You can guarantee that Honeycreeper is an honest cat, sometimes brutally so. Those that stand with her are greeted by her warm and fiercely loyal attitude.  A major pet peeve of hers is that she hates smelling bad. This is why Honeycreeper decorates herself with flowers and changes them out regularly. She spends a great amount of time cleaning herself when she has nothing better to do.

Goal or motivation: Since the hall's library is reserved for mediators, Honeycreeper picked up an unusual passion for books. She finds the guild rather interesting as well and wishes to research any anomalies that happens in the headquaters. She hopes to read and understand twoleg language one day, much like how Heliac understands cat. Anything to satisfy her boundless curiousity.

Relationships: Heliac (adopted mother): a deep chocolate brown sun bear with a bright golden patch on their chest resembling the shape of a sideways crescent moon. **Open for close friends and a mate!**

Other: Pansexual!  Her favorite prey is fish, specifically cod. From spending time with Heliac, Honeycreeper speaks a bit of bear. She mainly uses this tactic to scare off predators and doesn't dare to use it while other cats are present.

Midnight // 14 Moons // She/her
Dark coloured she-cat with pinkish eyes and long soft wings.


Clan Rank: Warrior
Appearance: A small, lithe sleek-furred she-cat. Her fur is patched in dark, almost black blue and purple, with lighter spots around her muzzle, chest, ear tips, tail tip and one lighter toe on each paw. Large, majestic black wings with lighter yellow spots on the underside like a starry night. She is skilled at flying, and spends most of the night flying alone. She doesn't get much sleep, but she doesn't need much - just another quirk that makes her different. Her eyes are a deep shade of magenta, and always have a shimmer in them.
Personality: Independent, loyal, fierce, secretive, mysterious.
Backstory (if any): Her mother was an exiled member of the Tribe of Burning Spirits, and her father died before she was born. Her two brothers died, or got lost in the same fox attack that killed her mother before she was even a moon old. A group of rogues with a nursing queen found her and took her in, though without enough food they soon left her behind. She was caught in a snare trap and was stuck there without food or water for a few days before ShineClan found her and took her in at 3 moons old. She doesn't talk about her past, and nobody in ShineClan knows anything about her past.
Goal or motivation: To learn how to control her abilities she inherited from her mother, from the Tribe of Burning Spirits.
Relationships: She isn't very social and doesn't have any close friends, but is open to a close friend, mate & rivals.
Other: Can see spirits in her dreams, though faintly and in confusing bursts. She also has a strange magnetic aura that causes anything magnetic to shake, or even be pulled closer in her presence. She also refuses to kill or eat birds, and loves rain and stormy weather.

A grayish-blue she-cat with flowing water instead of fur.

Clan Rank: Healer
Appearance: A grayish-blue she-cat with a coating of water in placement of fur. The water coating her body runs swiftly and silently, and to the touch feels like a smooth substance, damp but dry at the same time. It has certain healing properties as well, to herself as well as others. Being touched by it can speed up the healing proccess of a wound or sickness, which is why she became a healer. She can also control the flow and temperature of the water, so that it keeps her warm in winter and cool in summer. Her eyes change between different shades of blue and bluish green depending on her mood.
Personality: Calm, sweet, upbeat, optimistic.

Silentstorm // 37 moons // He/Him
A grayish tom with three legs and dragon-like wings and plants that grow along his body.

Clan Rank: Mediator
Appearance: His fur is naturally gray, but fades from white to black as he walks, and his fur colour is tinted with different colours depending on mood. He only has three legs, and has a large webbed fan-like mutation on the tip of his tail, and has scaly, dragon-like wings that change colour with the rest of his body. He also has flowers and vines that grow along his body, the fauna seeming to change on it's own each day.
Personality: Reserved, Curious, Wise
Backstory: Was raised by wolves for four moons until brought into ShineClan. He isn't sure where he was born, but the Alpha of the pack took him in as one of their own. He hopes to someday find the pack again, even if to just express his thanks.
Goal or motivation: Uncovering the secrets of The Guild Hall.
Relationships: Open to all.
Other: Is mute, but finds ways to communicate. Can sense if another living creature is within a certain area, and is able to pinpoint the location of said creature.
