I found her kind of unmemorable compared to Violetshine but I do like her. It's been a looong time since I've last read AVOS though so perhaps if I reread the arc I'll have more to say.

Went with neutral because I haven't read AVoS since it came out and I remember very little, other than Darktail. But I do remember not really liking Twigbranch in like the first half, then I liked her when she stood up to Finleap. I have to reread to have a legitimate opinion on her.

She’s a fun character. Sad how much flack she got from her sis, and it always felt that her arc wasn’t fully complete. Eh, that’s mainly an AVoS thing.

She's a cool character, but her arc always felt weird and incomplete to me.

Didn’t vibe with her during her arc. Either she was tolerable or infuriating to read through her PoVs. I’m indifferent on her nowadays, she’s just kind of there.

I like her, she had some nice character moments. I do wish they did more with her though.

I'm neutral on Twigbranch, outside of one or two moments that I was mildly irritated at her during AVOS, I don't have very strong feelings towards her. I loved when she stood up for herself to Finleap over the kits, that was one of my favorite moments with her, and I hope she and Finleap remain a couple without kits.

Neutral-like. Her character was quite the struggle for me to enjoy. I found her clan-hopping to be annoying, but it was understandable so I let it slide. I did NOT like how she treated Flywhisker, and now knowing Flywhisker becomes a kittypet later makes me a bit sad. You can tell she just didn't like clan life, I wish things turned out differently for her. The only thing I can say that I liked, was her standing up against Finleap, but the fact that they're still together is...a bit of a yikes for me.

Kind of an annoying POV and character in general. I don't hate her as much as I used to, it's more of a mild dislike now, but she's not my favorite.

I love Twigbranch! But I do wish/hope her character arc could get more closure. Not when it comes to belonging, a theme she shares with Violetshine— I think AVoS does a great job of working through where the sisters belong, and portraying how found and biological family can both be equally valid and meaningful. But specifically with Twigbranch’s feelings of needing to prove herself special/worthy enough.
From kithood all the way up to her mentorship of Flypaw, she is constantly concerned with her personal value and the way her Clanmates view her. Twigkit believes ThunderClan won’t want her unless she is “special” and lives up to the Vision of Shadows. Twigpaw is constantly struggling to prove she belongs in whatever Clan she’s in. And Twigbranch is caught up in wanting to be seen as a successful and capable mentor, in order to establish herself as a loyal and effective ThunderClan warrior after switching Clans. It’s part of why I find her so relatable, but…
We never really get a resolution to her insecurities. To the point where, in The Broken Code, she is still questioning whether she deserves to be in ThunderClan due to her code-breaker status. She hunts half the prey in the countryside to prove her loyalty, and her reaction to Brashstar’s assertion that “it’s still not enough” is just heartbreaking to read. He is affirming all her worst, most deeply-ingrained doubts and fears about herself— and accrediting that judgement of her to StarClan themselves! She’s still wrestling with the need to prove herself in ASC, when Bramblestar’s off-hand critique of her hunting skills sends her spiraling into model-warrior mode, fearing her unworthiness all over again.
I’m really hoping Ivypool’s Heart might bring some encouragement and closure for Twigbranch. Ivypool was her mentor, so it makes sense for her to notice the pressure Twig has always placed on herself and address it with her. Especially since Ivy herself struggled with the need to prove both her worth in relation to Dovewing, and her loyalty after being tricked by the Dark Forest. I would love even just a brief conversation between the old mentor and apprentice, in the hopes it might bring about some healing— perhaps even for both past protagonists.

I really like her, I think she's a bit overhated when it comes to clan hopping, she really didn't even do it that much, like ShadowClan, who basically stole her, to ThunderClan where she spent most of her childhood, to SkyClan where her father was, and then back to ThunderClan, to the place she grew up in and was full of cats she knew best. Now everyone is switching clans left and right lol
