Backstory: A long time ago, there was nothing but darkness. But then a pack of wolves known as Skypack found something. They had been traveling for moon cycles upon moon cycles. Many had died but finally the leader, ShatteredMoon, found what they had been looking for. His white fur glowed in the moonlight and his light blue eyes reflected the stars as he saw it. The place he had died, time and time again to get to. Nestled deep in the mountains it held promise for a better future. This was a group of misfits, of rejects. But they had been brought together to find this world. And so, in the cool night air, they made a pact. ShatteredMoon said to them, “My brothers and sisters. We have found it. And so, I bestow upon each you a piece of this land.”
He touched his nose to the first of the wolves, a brown one whose pelt was rich like fertile soil. “I give you, DawningFang, the gift of the grasslands. May you prosper.”
He then came to the second wolf, a grey one with green eyes that shone like stars. He touched noses with her and said, “I give you, RosesBlood, the gift of the meadows. May you prosper.”
He turned to the third wolf, one who had fangs sharp as ice. He touched his nose to hers and said, “I give you, ColdStar, the gift of the icy lakes. May you prosper.”
At last, he turned to the final wolf who had a pelt black as the nights sky. “I give you, DarkestNight, the gift of the forests. May you prosper.” His nose touched DarkestNight’s and they all fell into silence.
“And I give myself,” he said softly, “the gift of the mountains. May we prosper.”
He raised his nose to the sky and howled. The others followed and soon the stars were full of the bass sounds of wolf howls. And then, they left. DawningFang to the fields, RosesBlood to the meadows, ColdStar to the icy lakes, DarkestNight to the forests, and finally ShatteredMoon to the mountains. Once he reached the peak he howled to all the world, “LONG LIVE DAWNPACK. LONG LIVE ROSEPACK. LONG LIVE COLDPACK. LONG LIVE DARKPACK. AND LONG LIVE SHATTEREDPACK.” His mighty voice carried to everyone in the world, and no one could deny that the packs of Dawn, Rose, Cold, Night, and Shattered would last forever.
But all things change over time. Soon, it wasn’t just wolves in the packs. There were everyday dogs, ‘Tamed’, was what the packs called them. And then, after hundreds of moons, there were almost no more wolves. Whether the species had died out, or simply they couldn’t adapt to the environment, it was never known. But every leader of a pack is required to have the blood of a wolf to lead. And so, this is where our story begins.

She likes swimming and running a lot she does pretty good in cool climates. She has pogonophobia (fear of snakes). She doesn't like being alone to much but likes her privacy (snoopers beware!). She can be quite stubborn and independent but has a small attitude. She hates watching fights or listening to arguments (due to past trauma) She doesn't like opening up to much and is a bit shy but will gain trust over time. She/Her, Straight and aromantic ||

Leaders can change if they accept a duel and lose, but they rarely do. Almost always a leader will accept a duel as it is seen as weak to not. The duel is to the death, if the challenger loses. If the leader loses, they will simply live in exile for the rest of their life. But most of the time there are no duels and the leaders will lead the pack until they use all of their lives.
Second pelts- essentially a deputy. These run the clans outwardly and relay orders given by the leader. They are interchangeable, and as with leaders, they can be killed and another will take over. But if they cannot function with their job anymore, they will elect a new second pelt.
Bonemenders- Medicine wolves! They receive prophecies, heal the wounded, and are never to be killed. If one is killed the perpetrator is to be publicly executed without mercy. They have a good knowledge of herbs and other plants around the area.
Rest of pack- about as exciting as it seems. These are the hunters, gatherers, and fighters of the pack. This includes pups and apprentices.

Actual rules for roleplaying:
-All fights must be predetermined. I don’t want six pages of fighting because the other side refuses to back down.
-No perfect characters! They must have at least one flaw.
-Please, I beg of you, do not start drama without asking me first. Check to see if there is already conflict before starting more.
-Hate the character, not the person.
-Homophobia, racism, sexism, and the like are not tolerated here. If you display any of these behaviors, you will be asked in no uncertain terms to leave.
-Keep it mostly clean. The dogs don’t know curse words anyway, so saying them isn’t appropriate realistically. If you would like what is considered insults/dirty lingo, go look at the words and meanings that the pack has made.
