Twigbranch was usually hit or miss for me while Alderheart is someone I moreso prefer outside of his role as a protag just like with Leafpool from the second arc.

Alderheart. I didn’t really care for the sister’s all that much. I found Twigbranch self centered and annoying and I didn’t really care for Violetshine’s woe is me attitude and obsession with Needletail who was nothing but abusive to her with the exception of saving her life. Overall the only pov character I enjoyed was Alderheart and wished they kept him as the only pov character like he was in The Apprentice’s Quest.
