So, a few weeks ago now, an article was posted on the official website that showcased a few important cats of the cast in the upcoming first TPB Graphic Novel. That line-up also included Silverstream. But a version of her that I personally have not seen much of before. Usually, she's depicted to be a slender cat, both described as such in the canon books as well as in most official art and in most fanart I've seen of her too. But there, she's drawn as buff and I never knew I needed her to be that even though this version of her has now been living in my head rent-free for weeks lol help. Needless to say, I love buff Silverstream as a concept and now even prefer this version of her over the usually slender one (although that's still neat as well, of course). Here she is <3  So yeah, this thread is just about buff Silverstream. An appreciation thread of sorts. Because she slays! I think buff Silverstream is very fun, but I have trouble switching how I see her in my mind so I think I gotta stick to the old version.

Now that buff Silverstream exists I am a devotee and believer.
I always headcanoned Crookedstar and his family to be on the bulkier side so Silverstream inheriting that body type just makes perfect sense. I also think it's cool for a feminine love interest character to be realistically strong as a result of her life as a warrior!

Crookedstar is described as a pretty large cat, so I can definitely see Silverstream inheriting it.

Am I the only one who thinks she doesn't look "buff"??? I thought she just looked filled out. RiverClan are always noted for being well-fed and kinda plump. Idk the design doesn't strike me as muscle-y, just thick-furred and a lil chunky.

Slender fits with the perception I've had of her for a while, but her being buff like her dad is awesome, and I prefer it. I swear this is one of very few times a she-cat's build has been described as muscular, it's usually just "slender", "wiry", "small". We need more buff women!!

I love this so much, and it makes sense too considering silv is a RC cat and they swim a shit ton, and swimming is like one of the hardest sports in the world
