With the colorized version now out, what are your thoughts on the series' very first graphic novel?

That's out now?
Anyways, I thought it was alright. Now, I don't like the way it portrayed Scourge to be some kind of poor misunderstood boy but I liked it at first read as a young lad.

Wait, Rise of Scourge was the first WC graphic novel?
Well, dang. They really expanded on what we knew from Darkest Hour and Bluestar's Prophecy, and it's nice to see them expand on Scourge given his limited presence prior. I would say that it paved the way for more graphic novels and extra books with BloodClan. Seeing it in full color makes it all the more lively.

I really liked it. We learned about Scourge's past and it's easily the graphic novel that's had the biggest impact on the fandom.

I still really like it. The art style was fitting in an edgy way and seeing Tiny go from bullied kittypet to the cold-hearted cult leader Scourge was cool. Him having a sad backstory definitely fits the edgelord aesthetic for sure.

I really love it.
Loved the art, loved seeing Scourge's rise to power in the city and how BloodClan was started, loved the parallels with Firestar's own story, etc. Definitely among my top favorites of the GNs, and I will be forever grateful that they finally decided to rerelease it in color.
