Lita's Characters  Ravenstar | ♀ | 24 Moons | ThunderClan [ black shorthair | leader ] DESCRIPTION: Ravenstar is a pitch-black she-cat. Her fur is sleek and that of a short-haired cat, and she is proud to wash it daily so it stays soft and silky as a kit's and as shiny as the night sky. She's a lithe feline with a slender body and long sturdy legs, medium-sized paws, and a long plume of a tail. As she grew to have this figure, some of her denmates would joke, "Maybe she's from WindClan," because of her long legs and swiftness -- but it's just warmhearted humor, as her heritage is a mystery. She's quick-footed and fast when she puts all her speed into action. When fighting or hunting, when speed is needed, she's a blur of a shadow, attacking quickly. Her paw-pads are a soft pink color, unlike her soft black nose. And, her eyes are the color of a clear blue sky reflecting in the river, just like the one serving as a border for her Clan and RiverClan's.
PERSONALITY: She is a kind creature with a loving heart -- but in a split second, she would turn sharp and vicious in a severe fight or if her Clan is in risk or attacked. But, she's usually in a calm and collective state; as the fairly new Clan leader, she was at first nervous, tripping over her words and regal actions to the point her fur was fluffed up in embarrassment all the time or when she was seen by others. But, she's learned some calming techniques and advice from the other leaders during the past Gathering, so she now takes practiced breaths before standing in front of her Clan for meetings. Her favorite past time would either be hunting or, if the day is nice, sit by the water's edge by the river. She would watch the cool water swell and fall as if it was breathing, watch as it came to a stop just by her paws before slinking away. Somehow it calmed her, giving nostalgia to when she was small; she didn't remember fully of her kit days, just small bits of textured memory, like some scents and her mother's voice, but she remembered sitting by a cool clear barrier and looking into the garden at the birdbath. Though she never really told anyone in her Clan, she didn't mind the taste of fish, and it was one of her favorites next to rabbit. She learned quickly as an apprentice that ThunderClan didn't swim nor caught or eat fish, but whenever she had the chance she would always catch herself a nice fish after feeding the Clan. Every once in a while, now, when she spent days on her own in the forest or by the river, she would indulge in a plump fish before going on a hunt with her warriors.
BRIEF HISTORY: Ravenstar, as a kit known simply as Midnight, is not Clan-born. She was born in the garden of a Twoleg nest. She had one sibling from the same litter, but the kit died a week later from being born too sickly. Her mother was a pretty, well-groomed she-cat named Violet, with fluffy black-and-white fur and almost-purple blue eyes. Violet was a young mother, and Midnight was her first kitten. Midnight was the result of what seemed to Violet as an innocent relationship with a wild cat named Torrentstar. After some time of meeting him and being with him, sharing stories and events of what happened during the day and her trying to understand his ways and customs, things came to a halt when he stopped seeing her. She at the time was unaware of her early pregnancy, but after a little while she knew, but she didn't find Torrentstar to tell him. Instead, she stayed home, and one night she had her kits in the flowery garden of her home. She was sad about her son dying, but she raised Midnight carefully with her new motherly instincts, keeping with her and showing her some things Torrentstar had showed her. And, about two months later, she was teaching her kit to climb the tree by the fence of the yard. And, right when things turned for the worse, Midnight fell off the low branch to the other side of the fence when Violet's housefolk grabbed her and put her in a carrier, leaving the empty house for a move to another town. And Midnight was alone, yowling her little mouth up at the tall wooden fence. She spent a couple days wandering the woods, hiding in bushes, her black fur making it easier to blend in darkness. She grew hungry, but she couldn't catch anything but small bugs and drank from puddles, nothing compared to her mother's warm milk. She was tired, and scared. Until one day, a small group of cats found her when she was whimpering and mewing for her mother. They took her, gently, to a large camp where there were many more cats. They wondered where she was from, who she was, speaking about other Clans and whatnot. Some said they leave her by the border for the others to 'reclaim their kitten' while some defended that Midnight had no Clan-scent on her fur. The arguing came to a halt when a queen pushed her way between the group and sat next to the small black kitten, wrapping her tail around her. The she-cat said that they would do no such thing as leaving her alone in the woods, and the cat declared that she would take the kit in. Things were arranged, and Midnight was adopted into a new family with new brothers and a sister, and given a new name: Ravenkit, for her black-as-feathers fur. Ravenkit grew to be a warrior apprentice, then a warrior named Ravenflight. And, though she knew she was technically an outsider with no blood relation to any of these cats, and often was seen as just a cat with a Clan named and nothing more, she had proven her life many times over, proving to be a great and loyal cat to her adoptive Clan. Soon, she became a deputy that had ended too soon when the elderly leader passed away, and now, Ravenstar leads ThunderClan, having just earned her nine lives only a moon before.
STRENGTHS: Being long-legged came a great help as she grew to be an intelligent and quick hunter and fighter. She's quick on her feet, whether it be for catching fast prey or attacking an opponent. Though she hasn't done it recently, she used her sturdy and lithe build to swim on their side of the river to catch any prey there -- she learned that that is not what ThunderClan did, so she didn't do that much anymore. Though she wasn't born in the Clan, she has a loyal heart to her home, proving to be a top warrior, and she earned her trust -- sadly, finally -- when she was chosen as the next deputy when the previous one died.
WEAKNESSES: Even though she's named after a bird and her warrior name had 'flight' in it, Ravenstar had a slight fear of heights. She wasn't scared of being up high, as that sort of worn off as she grew up and becoming a leader where she had to stand on the Highrock to talk to her Clan. But, she still got a nervous uneasiness when she climbed trees and such. She tends to avoid hunting birds or squirrels if they are in trees.
RELATIONSHIPS: She has no kin in ThunderClan except for her adoptive family: Bluefeather (mother), Flamestrike (father), and her older brothers, Smokesky and Flamefrost, who had ran away during his warrior vigil to live with ShadowClan for an unknown reason.
OTHER INFORMATION: Before ascending to become the new leader of ThunderClan, she was previously known as Ravenflight.   Moonfire | ♀ | 18 Moons | ThunderClan [ blue-silver tabby | young warrior ] DESCRIPTION: If one didn't know beforehand, no one would've guessed that Moonfire and Spottedbreeze were sisters -- or even in the same litter, at that. While Spottedbreeze took after their mother, taking the tortoiseshell look, Moonfire looked more like their father with the tabby look. Their father was a dark gray tabby, but Moonfire is a silvery-blue tabby. It was hard to tell whether she was blue-furred or silver, it was always a question. Her base coat is a standard silvery-blue, and she's striped with a darker blue-gray color, having the standard tabby markings; an 'M' shape on her forehead, two stripes on each cheek, four to five stripes across her spine and sides, and her tail is ringed with a stark-white tail-tip. She has shorter legs than her tall sister, and her small paws are snow-white compared to her tabby fur, as well as a completely white underbelly that stretches to her chest and neck, and ending as a small white mask over her chin and muzzle. She has a berry pink nose as well as paw-pads. Her fur is the same length as her sisters, being just an inch long, appearing to be short-haired. And, her eyes are a bright blue, almost the color of a bluejay.
PERSONALITY: Moonfire, to say the least, is very loud. And not in a bad way; she loudly expresses her thoughts and emotions. She's the type of cat who always has a word in on conversations or Clan meetings when things are discussed, even as an apprentice. When she's with her sister, or was an apprentice and training with her peers and/or mentor, she would loudly boast her achievements. She doesn't mean to be smug or annoying, she's actually not, but she just likes to have the center of attention on her, without sounding rude. She's not a rude cat at all, as a matter of fact. She's helpful when need-be, but she's not as determined and straightforward as her sister. She likes to help, but as an apprentice she was always reminded to help, and it was slightly embarrassing being she knew that she should help but she was always reminded of what to do while the others knew automatically. Moonfire isn't so much as annoying or weird or anything, she's just...slightly the opposite of her calm and quiet sister. Her personality is also sometimes feisty, almost fiery if anything, and it was the result of her warrior name, Moonfire.

Their parents are sadly deceased; their father died in a battle when they were just apprentices, and their mother died fairly recently due to greencough, her and a very old elder. She trained as a warrior apprentice alongside her sister up until a skirmish at Sunningrocks with RiverClan happened. They won, keeping Sunningrocks, and sending the fish-eaters back across the river, and in the battle of heroism, both sisters (who were the eldest apprentices at the time) earned their names: Spottedbreeze for her quickness and dappled pelt, and Moonfire for the fiery fighting spirit she has. To this day, they work as Clan warriors and have yet to train an apprentice of their own.
STRENGTHS: Moonfire, unlike her loud personality, is very quiet and stealthy when hunting or stalking towards an enemy. Though she's not darkly colored, her tabby pelt helps with overcasting shadows, making her easy to blend into the environment, especially at night. She's also significantly smaller than her sister however being oldest, so she's easy to hide.
WEAKNESSES: Just like her sister, and even though her legs are a tiny bit shorter, Moonfire is also quick on her feet and fast; but, she's not graceful. She was a rambunctious kit, always getting into things or running around with her peers, playfighting and tumbling around, but she was never graceful. Sure, she walks well, but she usually trips on flat surfaces or isn't sure of her footing. And for StarClan's sake, do not let her climb trees.
RELATIONSHIPS: Moonfire is very close to her sister, Spottedbreeze; she is the oldest of the litter.
OTHER INFORMATION: Moonfire is a very friendly cat and always loves making friends, and despite her slightly obnoxious front, she tries to befriend the new warriors to make them feel comfortable in the group.  Spottedbreeze | ♀ | 18 Moons | ThunderClan [ tortoiseshell | young warrior ] DESCRIPTION: Spottedbreeze is described as a very pretty tortoiseshell she-cat. Her base coat color is a pitch black like darkness, and she's splashed with various orange's, brown's and white's. She has the fur of a short-haired feline, about an inch and a half long, giving her a sleek look, but her tail is quite fluffy; it's almost thick-haired and like a dappled cottontail plant. It's dappled like her body, but the tailtip is black. She also has black 'socks' on her legs, covering her paws and bottom half of her long legs. She has a white chest, but right under her chin it turns to a dark gray as it turns to black fur that covers her chin and muzzle. She has a black nose that almost blends with the dark fur of her muzzle, and the black stops just where her nose begins except for the 'cheetah-like' black stripes that travel up her snout and to the inside corners of her eyes. Her eyes are a brilliant amber color, almost like liquid, always bright and shining. Her ears are a moderately normal size, and are also black.
PERSONALITY: As an apprentice, Spottedpaw was almost chosen to be the next medicine cat apprentice, because as a kit she would voluntarily help the medicine cat with herb-sorting and -gathering, but it was just an assumption because Spottedpaw, at heart, is a very helpful feline. She helps no matter the cause, whether it be helping with the medicinal duties or taking over the chores for the elders -- where she likes to spend most of her time, sharing mice when given to and listening to old war tales -- and even if exhausted she would make numerous trips to the woods to hunt for her Clan. She isn't a goody-two-paws, she's just a kind and naturally helpful cat. She would go out of her way to help someone before herself, and one time her sister told her to eat and sleep because she hasn't done so in a whole day due to hunting for the Clan. Spottedbreeze is also the calm and semi-shy one between the sisters; she's usually quiet, too, not really voicing her thoughts and feelings to anyone except her sister. She talks to others, but it'll be soft with short words.

STRENGTHS: Spottedbreeze is a great tree climber, and has no problem climbing trees to hunt prey. Her long legs are sturdy, with powerful hind legs to hold her, and her claws are long that sink deeply into the bark of trees to keep her up. Her legs are also quick, though not as swift and nimble like her leader, but she is pretty fast-paced, and that's how her warrior name came to be, because when she moved, her dappled tortoiseshell coat blurred as if it was breeze-blurry vision.
WEAKNESSES: She loves the heights, but she cannot stand below-ground; her first trip to the Moonstone as a requirement for apprenticeship, she felt claustrophobic and felt like she couldn't breathe. The whole time she felt like a thousand cats were pressed right up on her and she felt like she couldn't move at all. She endured it, though it was a very long session, but she was shaking like a leaf when they got out, and she spent the rest of the early morning curled up in the apprentices' den, unable to shake the fear and discomfort of that feeling.
RELATIONSHIPS: Spottedbreeze is very close to her sister, Moonfire; she is the youngest of the litter.
OTHER INFORMATION: She's really shy and softspoken but Spottedbreeze is friendly once a cat gets to know her.  Viperpaw | ♂ | 11 Moons | ThunderClan [ brown tabby | older warrior apprentice ] DESCRIPTION: Being named after a snake is blatantly obvious when you look at this cat. He is a skinny tomcat, his base coat the color of river stones, a grayish-brown color. He is marked with thin black tabby stripes all over his body, with no white on him; this is useful for hunting when he's lurking quietly in the shadows because he blends into the trees very easily. He has a skinny build, with light lean muscles, and long legs with small black paws. His tail, originally his namesake, is long and skinny with short-striped fur, looking like a snake slithering across the ground when he's laying or sitting down. His eyes, however, are a bright green, like leaves with sunlight filtering through the skin. They stand out against his brownish-gray and black pelt, giving him a striking look.
PERSONALITY: Viperpaw is one cat who likes to crack humorous jokes between lines of conversation. Sometimes he's not even taken seriously, but everyone would know when he's serious if things are in trouble and he sharpens up to the warrior he is -- or will be soon in roughly a month or so. But overall, despite his jokes and such, he doesn't really like to hang around others too much. A few hours would be pushing it to him; once training and meals are done, he usually goes to his favorite spot under a shady tree in the camp and wash his coat and relax by himself. He prefers quiet and likes to be by himself when he's not being a jokester to the others.
BRIEF HISTORY: Viperpaw was named after the snake due to his fur coloring and lankiness, as well as his skinny tail that looked like a baby snake as a kit, but it seemed to come true when he was a new apprentice; he was dared by fellow apprentices to hunt in Snakerocks, and though after a quarrel of bickering over it, he caved and went. It was a dangerous dare, and if it wasn't for his nimble and fast-movements, he just barely outsmarted a snake for a weakened mouse. He moved quick for the snake, ending up killing it, and he won over the mouse as well as the snake. His peers were astonished as well as some of the Clan, but Ravenstar advised anyone not to eat the snake for it wouldn't taste right, so Viperpaw kept it as a trophy as well as a tricking playtoy to scare even the most bravest warriors by sneaking the dead snake into the den and carefully placing it just right so it looked alive. He would get a good lecture later, but even his mentor was amused by his trickster behavior at times.
STRENGTHS: He is a very fast learner, and can cover pretty much anything. He can even hunt snakes, which is rare in ThunderClan! He's a skinny cat and that gives him an airy weight and a quick speed when running. Instead of slinking behind the lines at fights and battles, he prefers to be up-close and personal, lashing out with his sharp claws and deep bites, and though his paws are small, he can land heavy blows with no trouble.
WEAKNESSES: Viperpaw doesn't normally talk to others but keeps to himself, but he strives to be the best warrior he could be. He would love to be a deputy one day, but, his lack of communication skills and mannerisms bring that fantasy to a halt; deputies and leaders have a charisma that brings authority to them, and Viperpaw doesn't have that. Maybe one day he could learn, but at the moment he is content to keeping to himself mostly.
RELATIONSHIPS: Other than his fellow peers, family, and mentor, Viperpaw doesn't have much close relationship ties. Even though he's a joker and likes to bring humor into the clearing, he's not too great at talking to others, really. Especially she-cats, which is weird because he's not a shy person by no means.

He has a white chin and large green-yellow eyes.

History: Born to Brookpounce and Tatteredtail, Torrentstar was raised by his militaristic, strict father and compliant mother. His apprenticeship was spent rebelling against his father as Tatteredtail scolded him often for his actions and behavior. As a younger warrior, he was known to be distracted yet sociable. He spent lots of his time hanging out with his clanmates instead of doing his duties. Torrentstar was not ambitious whatsoever, but once he met Violet, a kittypet, all of his attention went to her. He became secretive and closed off with his clanmates & family as he was spending more time with Violet. He would make excuses or lie about his whereabouts just so he could meet Violet, even if meant risking his place in the clan. Violet became pregnant with his kits when Torrentstar was caught trying to visit the Twolegplace. He was confined to camp for one moon and given apprentice duties. As soon as he served his punishment, he checked the Twolegplace for Violet. Her Twolegs and house were no longer there which left him heartbroken. From then on, Torrentstar chose to improve himself even if he'd never meet Violet again.

Detailed Description: Bramblingpaw is a medium-sized, semi-long haired feline with a silky pelt and a broad face. They are a cinnamon silver tabby point cat. It's hard to tell the color of Bramblingpaw's pelt with one glance. Their face, ears, paws, and tail are cinnamon colored. However at the edges of their face, there's a faint silver blur which is hard to see. Their pelt base is white. They have dark blue eyes.
Detailed Personality: Bramblingpaw is eccentric, dependable, and optimistic. Bramblingpaw is an eccentric cat, known for their whimsical and peculiar behavior since they were a kit. They are not the type of cat to conform to societal norms as they find it odd that their clanmates follow it so easily. Sometimes this leaves Brambling to be an outlier as their behavior is unusual. They are also very optimistic as they tend to see their world with a positive outcome. Their optimism shows them to be a ray of sunshine as nothing is ever too dull about this feline. Detailed Description: Jasmine is a long-furred seal point molly with blue eyes. Her silky soft fur is white with black undertones, giving it a soft, smoky appearance. Grey fades into her ruff and shoulders and a patch on her right hind leg. Her points--muzzle, ears, tail-tip and paws--are all solid black, fading into the white fur. Her blue eyes have distinct hazel rings around the pupil, and her right eye is distinctly cloudy--she isn't quite blind in that eye, but is visually impaired. She has long legs and a very fluffy tail. She is declawed on her front paws.
Detailed Personality: A fierce and independent cat, Jasmine's instinct is to stand her ground and fight rather than flee. She's braver than her skills can back up, but has been teaching herself to fight in a rather unique style, as she has no front claws for swipes to do much damage. Once a cat worms their way into her life, Jasmine finds herself fiercely loyal and will do anything to shield them from harm. She is rather shameless and does not get embarrassed easily, despite her insecurities about being able to fend for herself.
Strengths: She has a sharp tongue that can sometimes win arguments.
Weaknesses: Refuses help no matter what kind it is. Her vision is impaired and she was declawed on her front paws.

History: Jasmine was, for a long time, a pampered housecat. She is still struggling to live on the streets and as a result of her insecurity, often snappish and cold. She hates being pitied and will not accept any charity--gifts of food, healing, or offers to train are all quickly shut down. She can make do herself, thank you very much, just like every other cat does. Any cat that genuinely wants to help her must first trick her into accepting aid, but once a cat manages once, Jasmine will drop her guard and allow them into her worries.

PERSONALITY: Rainstar tends to come off as condescending when you first approach him. His eyes will send shivers down ones spine, leaving them wondering if they should even continue to talk to him. He has a soft pink nose, and white and black whiskers. His fur is always kind of messy, no matter how hard he tries to keep it straight and glossy. The young ginger tabby is missing his right ear due to past battles, causing him to have a hearing problem on the right side of his head.
PERSONALITY: Firepaw is a nervous, and gentle soul, with an over thinking personality. He constantly doubts himself and his abilities, leading him to feel like a terrible warrior. Firepaw also tends to be very shy when it comes to large crowds, but he can manage to work his way through it. He sometimes has a stutter, but that's only in some cases when he can't seem to get himself to think straight. Despite all of that, this young tom cat is extremely loyal to his family, his clan, and his leader, always trying his hardest to protect and prove his worth.
BRIEF HISTORY: When he was younger, Firepaw almost drowned in a stream, leading to his dreading fear of bodies of water. He doesn't have a problem with rain as much, but he does when the ground gets slightly flooded, leading to small panic attacks.
