This is kind of late, because the book came out in December, but I realized that I've never posted about it here and maybe some people would be interested in it. The Polish publisher decided to hire an artist to make completely new art for the dual guidebook. There are too many images to post here, so you can see them here. |

Curious to know- did they make any changes to retconned information? I can tell they did with Sorreltail. I'm curious about what they did with the following:
- Mosskit's pronouns
- Raggedstar's name in the Thankless Kit story
- Clan founder section in Significant Leaders
- Both Dawn of the Clans stories changing to DotC-accurate info

I'm curious about what they did with the following: - Mosskit's pronouns - Raggedstar's name in the Thankless Kit story - Clan founder section in Significant Leaders - Both Dawn of the Clans stories changing to DotC-accurate info Yeah, the biggest change is the vigil story being told by Sorreltail instead of Squirrelflight. They mentioned that they were inspired by the German translation of the guide which did the same.
- Mosskit is consistently called a she-kit. - He's called Raggedpelt for most of the story and is mentioned to become a leader later, from which point on he's referred to as Raggedstar, fixing the continuity errors with Yellowfang's Secret. - I can't notice any meaningful changes to Clan founder section and Dawn of the Clans stories.

The art for this guide is amazing! (better than the original...)
I find Squirrelflight to be the most adorable! The illustrations of the camps are so detailed and well done, I can recognise almost every cat.

I LOVE this illustration of Squirrelflight. One of my favorite ever!! :-) I only wish it were colored, I would make it my avatar! EDIT: what the heck, I decided to give it a go. I've had the same avatar since the forums opened here in 2016. Time for a change!  |

Amazing as per usual with the Polish artists, even this new one <3 Can't even decide which is my ultimate fav because there's just so much awesome art to choose from! Putting my top five up just for fun: 1. This one for Code 14 (Mossheart's PoV about a warrior not having to kill in order to win a battle) left quite an impression on me because it just is rather haunting to look at 2. Mothwing (she just looks so fluffy and majestic, I love her <3) 3. Sorreltail (gorgeous strong fluffball, just perfect, even though it's a different design that was is usual for her) 4. Clawface vs Graystripe (just love the way it looks in motion even though it's not how their fight actually went) 5. BloodClan camp (though all the camp views are fantastic, this is my fav because of how Scourge looks here) Other favs of mine definitely include all other Clan camp views as mentioned, Squirrelflight, Tawnypelt, Firestar's nine live ceremony, that piece of Goldenflower as an elder with Longtail and Mousefur, the RavenBarely piece, the ancient big three Clans symbol, Darkstripe with Longtail, Flintfang and Badgerfang, Whitestorm with the apprentices and finally Cloudstar. |
