Greetings! I recently-ish stopped using Tumblr/social media and I've been gravitating towards using forums more, and since I'm a WC fan, I thought I ought to join this board eventually... I've been into Warrior Cats since, gosh what year was it... Maybe like 2008? When a family friend gave me a copy of Tigerstar and Sasha #1. (Bit of an odd first book and it gave me a very skewed impression of Tigerstar xP) My favorite arcs are TPB and TBC, and my favorite characters are Shadowsight, Frostpaw, Mapleshade, Needletail, Squirrelstar, Snowtuft, Mothwing and Hollyleaf. I love kittycat melodrama, weird ghost nonsense, and character-driven angst, so I'm always willing to go along with whatever ride the books are taking me on... What else to say... I also enjoy creating websites and web-based artwork (the link to my personal site should be on my siggie), and I'm a huge fan of goth music! Pleased to meet you

Welcome to the forums! I’m also into creating websites what are your favorite parts about it? I just like how limitless it all feels. Like I'm not confined to concepts like "a profile" or "followers" or "posts" in how I express myself. My site can be whatever I want it to be!! So I do a little bit of everything, blogging, fanpages, an art gallery, interactive stuff, seasonal pages, a digital garden... It's just so cozy to work on.

I definitely like how versatile web design and web development can be, even if both have their challenges. I've done a little bit of everything (businesses like spas & salons, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.). I've also done two portfolios (my own & someone else's.) A digital garden sounds so cool! What do you normally build websites with?

What do you normally build websites with? I use Neocities, which is a free hosting service + has its own interface for code editing and stuff. It's pretty nice. I also frequent "web revival" communities like the MelonLand forums where I get a lot of artistic inspiration and enjoy talking with other web-hobbyists. Doing it professionally sounds pretty cool My site's just a little personal project though

I may try out Neocities for a personal project o: it looks like it's very well done! ooh, I'll have to check MelonLand out too. I've found like one Discord server where it's designers & developers, but I don't feel comfortable enough to chat with all of them-- the server is too big for my comfort zone. I've come across subreddits before, but I just read instead of commenting.
Unfortunately I can't explore this professionally, so it's basically my hobby (that I have a degree in). I'd love to do it as a job though o:
