I'll call it the "High StarClan Theory" for now. Although its never outright stated that there is a higher power than StarClan and the Erins confirming(?) that once a cat dies in the Dark Forest and in StarClan or if they fade away they are gone forever and nothing awaits them after that. This theory does not attempt to argue against the idea of "Theres nothing after death in StarClan/Dark Forest"
This theory argues the existence of a higher power than StarClan. Who or what sends out the prophecies? What is the origin of the numerous powers given to cats in the Clans? I doubt it was a singular individual within StarClan's hunting grounds that gave Goosefeather or Yellowfang their powers so surely its not too far-fetched to at least consider that the power was gifted by something more powerful? Or someone?
Two possible conclusions for this theory:
1.) Perhaps the cats in this higher plane of power are pure divine cats that are much more wiser and obviously more powerful than StarClan and interact with StarClan and the clan cats for unknown reasons. Their existence implied due to questions of the origins of prophecies and powers but cannot be confirmed.
2.) StarClan and the Dark Forest exist because of the Clan cats. Could cats residing in StarClan and in the Dark Forest be the main cause of a higher power above the two afterlives?
"But wait!" You yell. "If a higher power exists because of the collective thoughts of StarClan and the Dark Forest then doesn't that indirectly support the idea that faded StarClan cats go to the "High StarClan" afterlife? Personally the theory I made is an attempt to make a theory that can coexist with the "Forever faded" death thing while implying a higher power. I would lean more towards the collective thoughts of both the Dark Forest and StarClan giving it so much power unintentionally that the "High StarClan" place can give out prophecies and powers by itself.
(Correct me if Im wrong): A bit off topic but doesn't Firestar complain that StarClan is incredibly cryptic but in the later books after The Last Hope Firestar gives cryptic messages from StarClan?
Last of all: I just want to state this is a theory that came to me after I puzzled over the fact that cats before OOTS Arc got powers. Most notably: Goosefeather and Yellowfang. This is just a theory.
Do I believe it 100%? No. I understand the flaws and holes of this "High StarClan Theory" Do I suspect its a strong possibility hence the reason why I made this thread? Yes.
