ShadeWing purred with delight as he groomed his mate, ViperMoon, who was in the nursery expecting kits any day now! "They'll be perfect," He assured her, "They'll grow up to be amazing warriors! I'll give them badger rides all the time! And- play mossball!" "Hey!" a squeak interupted him, the little body of Tidekit, who wasn't all that little any more, appeared infront of him, "We are the best warriors! Oceankit's gonna be leader, and and- I'll be deputy!" "I appoligize great 'O mighty TideFang, TropicSlash, WaveClaw, and OceanStar, I kneel before you!" ShadeWing replied, crouching down and bowing like he had done many times before, the kits squeaked in excitment as he gave them each a ferice name. Then BloomFlower said from the darkness, "Leave poor ShadeWing and ViperMoon alone you four, they need some time together, go ask your father if he'll give you a badger ride," BloomFlower chuckled as the all bounded out of the den and tackled their father MoonSky who had just gotten back from hunting and was now rumbling about with all four kits on his back, ShadeWing could hear them squeaking, "We will protect GulfClan from this evil badger!!" and many other excited purrs, he turned to BloomFlower, "Thanks," "No problem," Then she stretched and left the den, his gaze turned back to ViperMoon, his wonderful ViperMoon...

My love || Vipermoon POV || ✦⚝Stormscar⚝✦Vipermoon purred in contentment as Shadewing groomed her. “They should be here any day my love.” Her copper eyes looked down at her swollen belly and then at her mate. I hope they decide to come at a convenient time, Tropickit has his ceremony tonight. Then with a sigh, she settled closer to him before letting out a particularly loud purr. He really was the best tom she had ever met, and she was proud that he would be the father. Since she had met him she couldn’t imagine having kits or being a mate with anyone else. Then she chucked and pulled him closer to her and began vigorously grooming the top of his head. “You have a puff of fur on your head and it looks like a weed.” |

ShadeWing gave a side eye to his mate, "I'm not a kit you know," but he stayed where he was, "The kits will be here any day now!" he purred at her words, "But hopfully not today- not that I don't want them born of course! But erm- theres a lot of ceramonies today.." he paused, "I can't wait to see them.. and name them, we'll finnally have a big happy family," he sighed, a great, happy one, that showed his love for ViperMoon.

She grinned at ‘ her new name’ waveclaw it sounded so ferocious and wonderful. She batted a sheathed paw playfully at shadewing. He was such a nice warrior and by far her favourite. No offence to anyone else by he was nice and chiller. All the other warriors talked about boring things like tradition. Except a few she liked vipermoon too but shadewing was still her favourite. Her siblings looked thrilled about their new names too and the battled like true warriors. She loved them so much.

“You may not be a kit, but you I won’t let you walk around with a fuzz the size of a paw on the top of your head!” More vigorously she licked him until she became satisfied that the poof would stay down. Then she yawned and stretched out. “You might as well go do something else, I need some sleep and the kits aren’t coming right now.” Then she curled up in her nest, and let herself fall into gentle slumber.

ShadeWing purred at her peaceful slumber, his eyes relaxed, and calm, but he did as she said. ShadeWing figured GulfStar would call the clan meeting soon due to him sitting right on the highledge and SplashFrost by his side.
Tidekit zoomed through the camp, heading straight for her father, she leaped up onto his back and he colapsted in defeat, "You are to mighty for me!" he rumbled as Tidekit sat on his head.

Saltkit was in the nursery, bouncing around the other cats. She flicked her tail happily, although it didn't seem the other kits were paying much attention to her. They were almost apprentices after all! And Shadewing was always fun, and he was always here because his mate was going to have her kits anyday! Her own mother, Lavender had been a loner, and she didn't know who her father was.
(I can so see Saltkit being like "so um Vipermoon is doing a really weird dance move and it seems to be hurting her")

Waterripple was walking around the camp. Everyone was talking about kits becoming apprentices. Waterripple liked when it when everyone was buzzing with excitement. I wonder when the ceremony is? waterripple thought but she couldn't think for long because a big group of playful kits jumping and excitedly talking about becoming apprentices. This made waterripple smile so she walked over and started to talk to them.
