Looots of writing and multi-tasking, mainly lol I'm currently chipping away at writing an RP response here on the forums, plus I'm starting a new D&D campaign with a few friends next week so I'm drafting ideas for my player character for it. It's gonna be a sci-fi campaign so I get to play around with designing an alien character, which is always a fun time! What are you up to?

I saw the bingo card you posted and I find filling these out fun, so here you go! A couple of these were like, half-applicable (I like scene but I wouldn't call myself a scene kid, I've played Terraria but don't regularly play it, etc)  |

I’ve got a D&D campaign going on with a couple friends (I’m not the DM) and it’s my first time actually playing D&D if we aren’t counting the one 10 minute session that my dad set up because he thought he knew how to do DMing (spoiler alert, he did not lol). Not much for me either, I’ve been writing an essay for film theory which is way harder to do than I expected TvT |

I do love AJR though; They're a great band and that sounds really cool! I'm happy you got to see them live like that. Did they play any of your favourites? I think live music definitely hits different and everyone should get the chance to experience that for themselves at least once. Something about sharing in some songs you love with a bunch of likeminded folks who are loving them at the same time just feels really nice. I got to see Mother Mother live back in February and it was fantastic! I've been a huge fan of their music for coming up on a decade now so it felt really fulfilling c: |

I've not been playing it long myself (I only started actually playing it for the first time early this year - I tried a bunch of times with different people to start up a campaign beforehand but it just never worked out until now) but so far? It's been very fun! What class and race do you play? Also, I've gotta ask: what happened when your dad tried to DM? lol Ahh, gotcha. I've been there, it can be hard to figure out where to start with film theory sometimes. What's your essay on? Are you studying a specific film as a case study or is it just general theory? o: |

Oh my god their concert was amazing. It was kind of my first concert but I went to one with my mom a long time ago and it was an outdoor venue, before I had ADHD medication or even owned noise canceling headphones, and the band playing (Bare Naked Ladies) wasn’t one I knew, so I may have made her leave before the opening artist was done playing 👀
The special effects for the AJR concert were AMAZING. It was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever experienced and it was even better because I’ve had all their songs memorized for years. At the time, my favorite was 2085 and that’s the song they close with and it was so cool because obviously the most emotional and intense part is probably going to be the closing song. There was a giant puppet in the shape of Jack’s head at one point and it was weird (good weird) and cool at the same time!! Like I said, I’d never really been to a concert before and I didn’t know if they would play the full album or anything, and what I expected was a 90 minute concert with most of The Maybe Man played, but it turned out to be 3 hours, and they played the full Maybe Man album and their most popular songs. Right now, my favorite song by them is probably The Green and The Town or My Calling. What about you?
That’s really cool! I totally agree with the first part. I haven’t really been able to get into Mother Mother and the only song I really like by them is Hayloft, which is very basic of me lol.

basically what happened was that he got very confused even with the pre-made world (lol) and he gave up very quickly.
It’s specifically on the Sci-Fi movie Arrival, which I thoroughly enjoyed and found interesting, but I think WAYYYYYY too hard about things. For example one question was if we were to recast the main characters who would we choose and why, and I ended up writing a whole ass paragraph on why I think Alex Kingston (River Song in Doctor Who) should be cast as Ian Donali rather than Jeremy Renner being cast as Ian because what lol- and then I wrote 1 sentence about the other main character xD

I don’t know why, but for years I’ve wanted a physical image of Xenon. Not just a drawing, but a plushie or a pillow or a blanket. I want my comfort OC to be something I can hug and be physically comforted by. I don’t know why I want that so badly right now. I just put in a Budsies order form (that’s just staying in my cart because I can’t possibly afford it) and I know I won’t be able to get it. I don’t have the money, and I live with my parents and they are set on it being a waste of money.
I don’t have the skill or materials to make a plushie myself, and I don’t want to resort to asking my grandmother. Partially because it’s 200+ dollars, and also because while I don’t like her, I still would feel guilty asking her for stuff even though she’s going to say yes. My birthday’s even coming up and I don’t think I’ll be allowed to get it then even if I manage to get the money for it. I don’t know what to do and yes this is such a first world problem and I sound so privileged, but does anyone have advice?

do you have random stuff like rainbow tall socks, hot glue, buttons and fluffy stuff like the stuffing of a old pillow? or towels?
Really just use hot glue and put something temporary together until there is a better solution idk
