I have a story about getting lost at an airport and slightly similar, being in a wheelchair at an airport. If anyone wants to hear those just reply to this lol tell me please lol Alrighty!! First, the lost thing. I think I was like… 7? Maybe? Yeah something like that. Yk how in airports they have those little gift shops? Well seven yo me was mesmerized by the rack of beanie babies, and then after staring at them for several minutes I looked around and realized I didn’t see my family. Pretty sure I walked around crying for a bit and they weren’t even that far ahead of me lol. So the wheelchair thing was near the beginning of 2019. Covid wasn’t world famous yet, but we found out last year that I had one of the earliest versions of it. We were on a Disney trip, and the first night we did something cookie related which is why I thought i was just sick from cookies, but I spent the first night in the bathroom, on the floor next to the toilet because I didn’t want to puke in the bed. The next day, I was so sick that I couldn’t open my eyes for more than 10 seconds, and I was basically asleep the whole time. Idk what happened to make my parents think I was ok, but we went to see a live action Nemo play or something, and I couldn’t even open my eyes the whole time. I remember going outside when it was done, and drinking some Gatorade, and almost immediately throwing up lol. I got a free shirt out of that because I puked all over myself, but I was having trouble walking and staying awake, so we got a weelchair and my dad pushed me around the rest of that day. Since I was asleep nearly the whole time, i only remember 3 things after that. I know we went to the magic kingdom clinic, and that it was bright and out of the way in there. I know at one point my dad got me a frozen pink lemonade, and I was half asleep while drinking it and there were these black birds that were fluttering around us. And finally, I remember being in the airport coming home, still in a wheelchair, and getting in a cab, getting out of that wheelchair for the last time, and sleeping in the cab. Pretty scary now that I know what I was sick with, and I could have died, it was that bad, but I survived and now it’s an incredibly interesting story! |
