Hello. I'm bored and I had an interesting idea! I know that a lot of people(myself included) have ocs with names that they are not happy with. But finding new names is tough! So, if you'd like, you can post your oc's name that you dislike here(along with a basic description and personality) and I'll give you new name ideas! You can let me know if you want a new prefix, or suffix, or both!

maybe Waveflight? I don't think his name fits him at all.
I'd like to keep Wave-, he has an interesting rivalry with Wavepatch because the two are in neighboring Clans and were born in the same moon, so didn't realize they shared the same prefix until they had to share the same name during an announcement at a gathering... awkward and pretty funny.
Waveflight - A dark grey tom with lighter grey dapples and white speckles. He has green eyes. A people pleaser, he's always falling over himself to try and be helpful. He fears being made irrelevant and tries to tie himself to as many cats as possible, believing that his skills aren't enough and that he always needs to do more to prove himself. He can be a bit of a pushover and doesn't know how to stand up for himself. He has a crush on Twigember and though he's afraid to talk with her for fear of rejection, he's always trying to grab her attention. He was basically disowned by ElmClan because he was afraid of heights and fighting, so was sent to SkyClan instead--the two Clans trade apprentices often as part of their alliance pact--and this is the root of a lot of his insecurities: he likes SkyClan and is terrified of being sent away again.

Wavespeckle/Wavedapple(for his white speckles, or his grey dapples) Wavedust(when I think of -dust, I think of a quiet cat who doesn't want to draw too much attention to themselves, and I thought that fit his insecurities) Waveheart(for him being super loyal to his current clan) Wavelight(I feel like -light is good for cats who are friendly and people pleasing) Waveleaf(because he gets pushed around, like how a leaf blows in the wind) |

Leafheart
I think I'll keep Leaf-, but maybe not if you find something better.
A light gray she-cat with green eyes and beige ear tips, tail tip, and front left paw. She is sweet and playful with cats she trusts, but fierce on the outside. She usually follows the rules, but is not against breaking them if necessary. She is loyal and brave, and a good fighter & fast runner. She is quick to run into danger to defend someone else.
One of the main reasons I don't like 'Leafheart' is because the name doesn't sound all that great, and it sounds a bit... hollow, if you know what I mean.

Leafbite(for her fierce nature) Leafstorm(because she's brave) Leafstrike(because she's fierce and is skilled at fighting) Leafberry(for her sweet attitude around those who she trusts) Leafspring(for how quick she is to defend others) Leafrunner(because she's speedy!) Some other prefix options could be Sage, Mistle, Drizzle, or Ivy |

If anyone wants to help me out, I could use a new suffix for my new oc Seagullbite.
Seagullbite is an off white tom with pale grey that wraps around his shoulders, haunches and tail. His paws and tail tip are black. He has darker grey flecks on his belly. He has orange eyes. His fur is fluffy and tangles easily | Seagullbite is a solitary tom who tends to lash out easily. He gets irritated and set off by the littlest things. He only finds peace when he's alone in nature. He feels stressed when he's not in control of a situation.

Gulltangle for his fur
Gullflare
Gullstorm/thorn
Gullbramble
Gullthistle
Compound words as prefixes are kinda hard, but Gull- feels like a good compromise without taking away any meaning.
Seagull- is so much harder, as a one-syllable suffix is almost obligate for a compound prefix.
Alliteration might help smooth over the compound, drawing attention to the start of the word not the "gull":
