Any medicine cat fan who got their knowledge of herbs solely from Warriors would know that marigold treated infection. That is not true. The authors mixed up marigold and pot marigold. An easy way to distinguish them is by calling pot marigold by it's more common name, calendula. Calendula is good for treating infection, and it works on humans too. Marigold is good for repelling mosquitoes.

To be fair, much of the information the Erins obtained about herbs comes from Culpeper, whose book was published in the 17th century. On marigolds, it says:
