Which is the better written book series? Gahoole personally takes the cake for me, just because it knew when to stop.

I've never read Guardians of Gahoole so I can't say.

Ga'hoole has the Wolves, Bears, and Horses sequels and prequels, all of which I think kind of drag it down. I never much liked that the wolves took over a lot of the Ga'hoole series, as they always felt to me kind of like if the Tribe just took over the Warriors series. I think arc 1 of GoG (up to The Burning) is in any case on par with the best of Warriors, but unlike Warriors, I don't think its sequels ever really managed to get their footing.

I didn't find Nyroc's story as interesting or compelling as Soren's, so while I think the first 6 GOG books are better written than Warriors, Warriors as a whole is the better series for me.

I’ve only ever read the Wolves of the Beyond sequel. It’s been awhile since I’ve read them. I do recall enjoying them decently enough, but both Redwall and Warriors had more intriguing worldbuilding and compelling stories in comparison. I do recall Kathryn being more consistent with her worldbuilding and lore etc. but overall preferred Warriors over them. Something about Kathryn’ writing(not saying it’s bad) just never clicked with me.

Have never read beyond the first book of Guardians of Ga'hoole but the movie was straight up fire though.
I still voted for Warriors even though it's most certainly just a big cash grab at this point (and sort of always was for Harper Collins and Working Partners).

I haven't read Guardians of Gahoole, so Warriors.

GOG was fire up until the blue owl stuff, then it got real weird I think that if the books ended with the final prequel, the series would be way better.
