Meadowpath's ears perked when Neritecloud mentioned visiting his kits. She'd always loved kits and dreamed of having her own someday. Seeing as she didn't have a mate, that dream was probably a ways off. "Oh. How are they doing," she replied, "Could I come visit them? As long as you're okay with it, that is." Aside from Emeraldkit, his kits were the only kits in the Clan. She bet she could probably visit Emeraldkit a bit too.

Daisypaw -- Open

Daisypaw padded out of the medicine den. I wonder if I can join a patrol? She needed to gather yarrow and tansy. I'll go ask, then... "Can I join a patrol to gather some herbs?"

Neritecloud blinked and soon offered her a smile. "Sure," he responded. "I'm sure they would love someone other then me visiting them." He often felt like he was overbearing with his constant worry over his kits, but he couldn't help it.l, he jsut wanted to show that he would always be there for them. "But as for how they, fine to my knowledge. I know Iriskit is mad at me cause I stopped her from leaving the house but that much isn't new." That one was trouble, and no matter how many times he told her it wasn't safe for her to go out there that just made her more determined.

Daisypaw -- Lampreybriar (Ember34)

Daisypaw nodded gratefully. "Sure, I might just go crazy too!" She paused to see Windsplash darting to the nursery. She wondered what it was about; Emeraldkit, maybe? Daisypaw padded to the camp entrance beside Lampreybriar, ready to exit the camp. "The yarrow patch isn't far from here." she mewed.

Lampreybriar grinned happy there was another cat that shared her sentiment. Seeing the apprentice on the move the warrior raced after her eager to finally get out of the house for the morning. Pausing beside the medicine cat apprentice she gave a nod to her words. "Sounds good lead the way," she said, she had only been to the yarrow patch a few times when she was sent to help out the medicine cats, and she never could seem to memorize the way there, but she always choose to chalk it up to purely just not using the route often enough for it to stick.

The tom nodded to the she cat's words, while he never was as desperate to prove his independence as a kit, he had seen it plenty enough with the younger cats when they were kits. He just never had expected that he would be on the receiving end of having a kit so determined to prove their independence. "That is true," he said moving to head to the nursery. He blinked in surprise to her last sentence, as it struck him. Looking to her, he tried to hide his excitement over the matter, it was hard to believe it was going to be so soon, the excitement soon would start to turn to worry at the idea of his kits now getting to actually now leave the house. "That is correct, I wonder who they will get assigned to." he knew whoever got Iriskit was going to have their paws full.

"I hope so, I don't want her getting into trouble," he said. He knew she still did and had gotten a few punishments but most had been quite light on her due to just being a kit, he just wanted to avoid her dealing with actual punishments such as a camp confinement. "Do you think you ever want to mentor?" He wasn't trying to push one of his kits onto the she cat as a mentor, but it was just a question in general. He himself didn't think he could ever be a good mentor as he never truly wanted to be a warrior, so he felt he couldn't properly train a cat that did.

Meadowpath winced at the idea of being a mentor. “I’m not sure,” she began, “I mean, I’d love to, but I just don’t know if I’d be any good at it.” Her main concern was not being able to protect her apprentice. She was confident in her skills as a warrior, but she didn’t want to not be around when her apprentice needed her or let them down. “How about you? Are you interested in becoming a mentor?”
