Is it dangerous to download free pdf books and send it to your device. By dangerous I mean your device gets corrupted or has a virus. Or Amazon catches you and delets your account.

i dont think amazon cares but like obviously there could be stuff in some pdfs if you download from a bad source but in most cases its fine oh but yeah i dont think its gonna give you like a kindle virus i was thinking textbook pdfs on computer ur 99% fine

It would be insane if someone made a virus that was compatible with kindle's OS tbh
there's always some risk downloading anything from the internet; you need to look at the source and decide if it's worth that risk. I've downloaded plenty of textbooks, and some sites are shadier than others.
