Love him ever since I've read Tigerheart's Shadow. I've been looking more into his character since and he's just so interesting to me

He's just not doing it for me. I wasn't a fan of how his arc with Dovewing turned out, most of the issues in SH was his ideas, and now we're supposed to believe that he's justified in ASC? Ridiculous.

Either neutral or like. He's definitely made a lot of questionable decisions and has caused drama and made things worse for other cats, but I think he's a pretty good character and I can usually understand where he's coming from.

He’s kind of over hated. Works as a pot-stirrer amongst the clans, but I wish they would commit a little harder to it instead of trying to still make him seem like the good guy all the time for it.
So overall neutral.

He's an interesting character and a pretty decent character but not one of my favorites. I voted neutral.

Hate him. He was fine in OOTS even if he manipulated and used Dovewing, he kinda just disappeared off to the side. But now because he's the author's favorite pet they'll shove him back into the spot light with every opportunity they have. Bro died, was dead for literally half a day, and was brought back to life like the resurrection of Jesus because he was the only cat who could lead his Clan despite being the same exact cat who ditched his Clan to follow his pregnant gf. And he's REWARDED for all of this!! Right after he gets his lives, he starts a border skirmish with SkyClan, attacks their camp, attacks their patrols to the point where they just get up and leave, and STILL the narrative manages to say "oh he's not a villain, he's just trying to make ShadowClan strong!"
Then we come to Squirrelflight's Hope, where he arguably is the antagonist of this book. His attitude literally makes Bramblestar bend over backwards to obey him because bro is so impatient he can't wait a month for the Sisters to move out after Moonlight gives birth. It has to happen now, and it has to happen Tigerheart's way, to the point where yes, he will invade their camp and he will order Cloverfoot and Scorchfur to climb on top of the cave where Leafpool, Moonlight, kits, and Squirrelflight are hiding. And guess what? This results in Leafpool, Moonlight, and nearly-Squirrelflight's death. Does he get called out on this? No!
Now we bring ourselves to TBC. I'll never understand why people call him a good guy in this arc; the only reason he fights fake!Bramblestar is because 1.) the warrior code means nothing to him when he's stomped on it (and he isn't even called a codebreaker, so why should he care?), and 2.) because impostor!Bramblestar threatened to depose him of his role. And, even then, he cares little for the other Clans. It's about him and it's about his family. I'd call this the attitude of someone who loves his family, but when previous Clan leaders have had to give up their families to lead their Clan (Bluestar had to give up her kits, Firestar couldn't order a search patrol for Leafpaw when she was kidnapped by Twolegs because he couldn't afford losing another of his Clanmates, Crookedstar lost absolutely everyone to him, etc)... not Tigerheart! He can have all of it AND still be Clan leader, because he's our special baby boy. And again, I'd say this is someone who cares about their family, but... nope! He allows Shadowsight to be in the company of the cat he KNOWS attempted to murder him. He agrees with his, he puts Shadowsight in his company, and then he has the balls to act surprised when Shadowsight helps him leave. And, when Shadowsight helps a literal criminal escape, his first thought is to clean up his act - bring Shadowsight to the mountains so he doesn't have to explain why Shadowsight did it (Tigerheart forced him to care for Ashfur and allowed Ashfur to manipulate him). Hate on Lionblaze all you want, but Lionblaze had a valid point.
And then again, we have him in ALITM, who says, with a straight face, to his mate's sister whose daughter is trapped in the DF: "Well, maybe we should allow the rest of your kids to say in there. I've got my kid back, so it doesn't matter to me about the rest of you, so why should we even bother rescuing your kids?" That was it for me. That was absolutely it - the cold callousness he treated everyone else with because the only thing that mattered to him was back. And bro gets a standing ovation at the end of the arc. Like you can't make this up if you tried.
AND now we have ASC. He took over RiverClan forcibly because they didn't want to obey him. Being a bully is what he associates with strength. He will get away with that, because he gets away with everything, and he will face absolutely no consequences. Now that we have Wind coming out, we'll make Squirrelstar incredibly OOC that she'll take in two Park cats who have proven no worth, but she WON'T take in Frostpaw, a cat who's going through the same exact thing her father went through, and someone old Squirrelflight would help out in moments. No, Tigerheart has to take her in, because we can't go another book without seeing him, and also because we have to prove again that, look! He's not such a bad guy!
I hate him. He's the eptiome of a hypocrite. He never should have been leader. He was rewarded for ditching his duties, he cares little for others save for himself and his family, and only thinks about what benefits him in the long run. And, because the authors love him, the narrative will not put any blame on him and put the blame on other characters for doubting him.

Neutral and while he's absolutely not undeserving of the criticisms levied at him, I find the amount of vitriol surprising. My issue is how inconsistent he is within the narrative and the editor's go-to guy when they need someone to start problems. There's times where he's okay and a good leader (TS, TBC) and other times where he's insufferable (AVoS, ASC, SqH) but I still find him remaining an interesting character. Editors need to commit to his character more rather than trying to paint him in a good light.
Though, he doesn't seem to be getting off the hook so easily in ASC thus far, so maybe that will change.

Easily the worst character in the entire series for me, 99 percent of the current problems with the last 2-3 arcs would be solved if he had just been dead or not existed or kept in the background. He’s completely unbearable and a showcase of awful writing. You do not need to destroy everyone else’s character to make Tigerheart look good, that means he is an awfully written character.

Hate him! Hope he is no longer leader by the end of this current arc.
I liked Tigerpaw as an apprentice during PoT and in The Fourth Apprentice at the start of OotS but that's it. His romantic interest in Dovepaw as a young apprentice while he was a (still young but had been for a bit at this point) warrior was off-putting and so was his behaviour towards her multiple times in that arc (such as the herbs situation). I know that this was not the first or last time that warriors (adults) having romantic feelings for apprentices (children/teens) was shown (DustFern, StormSquirrel, FeatherCrow, BrambleSquirrel were there before as well) but that doesn't make it any better.
The TigerDove relationship is what then continued to annoy about him (and Dovewing) until AVoS. Mostly because it took away a lot of Dovewing's time from her own character journey as part of the Three to instead focus so much on her romance drama with Tigerheart (and Bumblestripe to a lesser but still also annoying extent).
It continued into AVoS but then added the infuriating bonus of making Tigerheart deputy of ShadowClan, have him run away to find a pregnant Dovewing, throwing away Rowanstar's character in the process, making Tigerheart die and come back while thus robbing us of Tawnystar because of it. Tigerstar II did not deserve to become leader and did not earn this type of status promotion by the writers, in my opinion. Yes, I'm aware that it was a tough situation for him to be deputy in during Darktail's reign and aftermath but he really should've gone with Dovewing sooner after she told him she was expecting his kits.
In general, the TigerDove drama went on way too long and should've instead been cut or decided much sooner about who goes to which Clan or have them leave together for good and start their family elsewhere. Dovewing seeemed very happy raising her kits in the church with the Guardian cats and I would've preferred for TigerDove and their kits to stay there, out of the spotlight. One of them could've still shown up later on in TBC as a surprise character or cameo instead.
But no, Tigerstar II instead got his happy family AND became leader on top of that even though Tawnypelt was right there to be leader instead!
He then proceeds to be horrible to SkyClan in The Raging Storm, is the true antagonist/villain in Squirrelflight's Hope (but Brambleclaw still got most of the blame by the writing and fandom for some reason) and was extremely biased when it came to his family in TBC. Although I do appreciate him taking in refugees from other Clans in that arc and certainly don't think loving your family is a bad thing in the slightest, Tigerstar II just overdoes it. That scene of him basically going "Oh hey, my kit (Shadowsight) is back from the DF. Do we really need the other two?" to Ivypool and Tree (the parents of said other two) in A Light in the Mist is freezing COLD, holy crap.
Don't even get me started on ASC. I truly just hope Berryheart's first attempt of outvoting him failing means that there is a second or third one that succeeds because it's straight up overthrowing him by force or killing him instead (doubt on the latter though). Just get rid of him, please. I'm so tired of this dude.
Yes, I know Tigerstar II brings the drama to recent arcs but he's also unbearable in his hypocrisy while doing so. Nothing like his granddaddy the OG Tigerstar who did his own hypocrisy bs with style.

Don't like him, but considering he's more respectable than Squish right now, that moves him to my neutral/dislike.
