(Shadow going off to find bracken and moss) ( ✦⚝Stormscar⚝✦) Shadow watched her leave and then headed off on her own. 'The large ash oak tree'... she lifted up her face and took a deep inhale of the wind. She smelled a mouse not too far away, and some flowers that were blooming in the rain. She tried again and this time was successful. The slight wind carried the characteristic scent of oak, earthy and mildly sweet. She set off in that direction and soon came across the tree. As she began stripping the moss she enjoyed the scent and feel of the rain. It was beginning to rain again in earnist and the small droplets of water splashed on her wound; it felt good. She purred as she worked, collecting the moss and putting it on the bracken leaves to drag back. Suddenly she paused. Next to her emerged a small mouse. It was puny, obviously struggling to find food. She slowly backed up util she was a good few feet away. Then, wiggling her hind quarters, she pounced! She smiled triumphantly as she picked up the dead mouse. "So I'm not completely useless." she thought. Surveying her work she decided she had gotten enough bracken and moss and began dragging the leaves and moss back towards the cave, mouse on top. *yay I learned how to tag people :3 |

Hunting (lol good job Ravenshadow, if you wanted to learn you could've just asked me  ) Bird had caught a large rabbit before it had started to rain and was stalking a squirrl, she made quick work of the squirrl, and thought saddly about the fat vole she had missed earlier, but that was ok, this should be enough to last them. She had gotten back to the cave before Shadow, but she was soaked and unsure if she should go check on her friend, thankfully for the sake of her wet pelt, she soon sentted Shadow near by. She put down the prey in a small neat pile and poked out her head to see Shadow.

(Shadow returning to Bird) ( ✦⚝Stormscar⚝✦) Shadow raised her tail in greeting as she pulled the leaves and moss over. She happily picked up the emaciated mouse and showed Bird. “It came up when I was collecting moss. And don’t worry, it required almost no effort so I didn’t hurt my shoulder.” She sniffed at the rain, “Doesn’t it smell good? It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a good hard rain. The forest needs it.” And then she laughed as she looked at her wet friend. “I’m guessing we have different feelings about being wet?” |

Fixin holes in the wall with Shadow ( Ravenshadow) "Hah, I guess" Bird agreed, " lets let the moss dry on the other side of the cave" Her tail pointed to a small open area, "And help me get the bracken in the entrance," Bird sighed as they go to work, " I'm sorry if I made you feel useless," She mewed, " I just didn't want the wound to reopen and you have to rest even longer, I'm exicted to explore the world, and I guess I met you and thought, hmm maybe she will to! So I wanted to be causious," Bird dipped her head saddly.

(Shadow w/ Bird, quickly explaining) ( ✦⚝Stormscar⚝✦) "Oh no!" She said quickly. "I... I just..." she paused as she thought of a way to reassure her friend. Walking over she pressed her side to Birds and looked into her face. "I want to travel the world with you. I felt the connection as soon as we met! I'm just not used to not being able to hunt or do basic tasks." She sat down and swiped her paw over her ear absent mindedly. "I'm sorry if I made you feel bad. Its just been a while since I've interacted with other cats and I have a difficult time hiding strong emotions." She got back up and gave Bird a reassuring smile. "As soon as I'm healed, we'll go where ever we like! Adventuring, hunting, and getting to know each other." She puffed up her chest and said with a flash in her eye, "I promise!" |

Chillin and making a best friend ( Ravenshadow) "Thanks," Bird sighed, " I'm glad to know I'll have a best friend for life, its a little odd for me too, I havn't seen another cat in ages. It's just.. diffrent, and new.." Bird felt relieved her friend was also exited to see the world, together, as friends, nothing less, nothing more. Best friends (oh goddness thats cheesy, I don't like how cheesy that is).

(Shadow, enjoyin the cheesy cheese w/ Bird) ( ✦⚝Stormscar⚝✦) Shadow was relived that Bird felt better. She wasn't the best at cheering others up, but when she tried she could be quite good at it. She took the moss to the other side of the cave and began laying it out, Bird following. With a mouth full of moss she asked, "So, anywhere in perticular you want to go first? Like any dying desire?" |

lol the cheesyiest cheesyness cheese cheesy- wait, ive lost myself- ( Ravenshadow) "Eh, not really, I have always wondered what a waterfall looks like though, and a sundrown place, but those might be too far, I've only ever heard legeands of them," Bird replied, " I like just enjoing the places I vist, I've never really found the perfect place to settle down yet, I just.. wander.." Bird's gaze seemed to be lost in thought, her mind in a place far away,when all of a sudden a fully off topic thought was spoken aloud " I've never been intrested in a mate and kits, but I love to have friends, even if I havn't had many before, maybe I'll have a mate one day, bt it won't be till I settle down, I do wish I had met some of my family though, all I remember is a name of one of them, Stream.. one of my sisters..." Bird paused, " Anyways, what I'm trying to say is family is important but I'd prefer to settle down before I meet a mate and have kits or find lost family," Bird blinked, relizing they were done with the entrance already, "Sorry, I havn't let you talk much, what about you? What's your opinion on family?"

As she thought, she realized she had never really considered having a family. "Well," she said slowly, "I've never really ever had feelings for another cat. I mean, I've made semi friends before, but I've never had a desire for a mate. And, jeez, I don't think I'd ever have the energy for kits. Plus, your body gets all slow and changed; I would never give up being swift and hunting well just to have kits." She made a face. "And toms are such fox hearts. I guess I wouldn't mind having a female mate, but it all comes down to whether I want to be tied down or not." She stood and stretched, and said, "I wanna wander! I want to feel the grass beneath my paws, I want to feel the rush of pleasure after a successful kill. And for me, all of that would change if I had to worry about kits or a mate." She looked at Bird, "You get what I mean?" |

Idk either, but clan stuff is already buried and so people are probably not rping that cause they don't know responses have come from who they are rping with and the last clan thing was all the way on 5 or 6 and while it's cool reading the rogue stuff at the rate it's going it might make the clan stuff even more buried is all and harder to find)
