It has been pretty much confirmed that when Cinderpelt died, Cinderheart was born and Cinderheart turned out to be a reincarnation of Cinderpelt. But it's just so ****ing weird. In TLH, Cinderpelt's spirit seperates from Cinderheart's body and goes to StarClan, but that implies there are actually two spirits inside Cinderheart's body, Cinderpelt's and her own. This makes the entire situation seems way more like possession. What the hell is this plotline? What do you guys think? Reincarnation or possession?

I've been saying this for years now, it's possession and the Erins messed up/changed their minds. If you want an in-universe explanation, Leafpool and everyone else simply misunderstood, and given how rare it is already (with the only actual reincarnations coming from three ancient Tribe cats), it wouldn't exactly be that hard to believe. Either way though, I always thought the plotline was really unnecessary.
